Carlos was amazing as well, got me an amazing rate and payment, exactly what I needed. 10/10 service. If you're looking to buy a car, go to David Villanueva! Came in stressed and anxious, left feeling relieved and super happy. Thank you guys!

I used to have a lot of trust in First Texas Honda, but my most recent service experience was very…read moredisappointing. My 2018 Honda Accord was diagnosed with a failed turbocharger, and service advisor Aidan Carlson told me that even with my warranty coverage, I would still owe nearly $800 out of pocket. What concerned me was that he began discussing potential out-of-pocket costs before the warranty company had fully reviewed the claim and repeatedly stated that the warranty would only cover the turbo repair. When I contacted the warranty company directly, I learned that additional charges had not been properly itemized and that labor costs exceeded what the warranty company was willing to pay. After I asked Aidan to provide more detailed information to the warranty company, the claim was re-evaluated and approved. Miraculously, my estimated out-of-pocket cost dropped from nearly $800 to $0. The most frustrating part was feeling like I had to do my own research and advocate for myself to get an accurate answer. Had I simply accepted what I was originally told, I likely would have paid hundreds of dollars unnecessarily. Whether this was poor communication, lack of attention to detail, or something else, it left me questioning the transparency of the process. I appreciate that the repair was ultimately covered, but this experience significantly damaged my trust in First Texas Honda's service department.

Don't ever come to this location. They will screw you over just to try and make a sale. Went in to…read morepick up a battery that was bought online. Guy said he'd install it since they offer the service for free. Before the new battery the battery was dying on us and was supposed to be replaced long ago. The new one would not start unless he jumped it. Tried to start it again with just the battery, still wouldn't start. We went back in to receive a core refund for our old one. Went back out and we got a jump to go home. Mid backing up the car completely turned off on us. Came back out and gave us a jump. Hooked up the machine and told us we'd need a new alternator. He tried to sell us one inside but I told him our mechanic replaced the part not even 6 months ago and it was under warranty. He asked if I trusted my mechanic and I said yes. We left. He told us we'd have to drive back through small streets with our headlights off since the lights drain the battery so much. We drove it home and it was already dark. Had my mechanic come out and he said someone tampered with the alternator and he showed me, it looked like it had been smashed in and some pieces had been broken off. You could also see greasy fingerprints all around it. He then showed me that the battery was not even properly connected. Said he wouldn't be surprised if the battery gave out a few months later from being put in improperly and driving it that way. He fixed the battery connection and replaced the alternator that was still under warranty for no charge. Never trusting another O'Reillys again. Shady people.

As I continue to navigate AUSTIN, I find that typical gender type positions for men have…read moretransitioned to all genders, which is amazing. Me being able to see a woman install a battery which I know is not a big deal but for me it is because I'm use to always seeing Men care to this type of service. This is the second time this week. I've actually gone to a place and had assistance from a woman when I typically think that this job growing up it's a guy job. As I continue to grow up as a older adult, I realize that we are such powerful woman. I appreciate the two ladies that helped me out today and getting my car back up and running. Being able to be knowledgeable of how to navigate and use our resources is very key and should never be restricted to gender setting. I felt not only happy to write this review about the ladies who helped me today, but I want to encourage us as women that we should never continue to limit what we know is accessible to us as women. We don't have to live in the stereotype that I have grown up in where men have a certain job and women have a certain job. We can continue to transition and grow as we thrive through this changing world . Thank you to O'Reilly for giving ladies the opportunity to be just as equally qualified as a man to service our community. Thank you again to Jen and Sabrina for making sure that I will fully navigate and use the resources that have been provided for this new battery if needed. I am excited to ride this battery out for the next four years.
