Blatantly dishonest. Don't leave your phone with Mel overnight. I made the same mistake and some of the original parts from my high end phone were replaced. Switched my pricey micro SD card with a fake one. His work has always been substandard and never delivered as to what I wanted him to do whether it's restoring files from an external hard drive and even some of the basic things like unlocking a phone. I once watched him dupe an old lady who came to his shop. I pitied the senior lady. All the lady needed was a charging cord for her device to charge properly and which he could have sold her for under $10 which he had in stock. But he made it sound like it was a big job--charged the lady $42 and asked her to come back in 2 days to pick up her phone. I now drive 26 miles to Long Beach to have my phones serviced. Never again shall I trust this guy. Avoid him at all cost. If you get duped by Mel don't tell me I didn't warn you. Believe me Mel is BLANTANTLY DISHONEST. read more

I dropped my cellphone and cracked the 'gorilla glass' screen. I found Mel at Cellphone Solutions just 5 minutes from home. He had to order the replacement glass so I had to wait a week. I took my phone back to Mel and after 3 hours, it was good as new. He also put a screen protector on it so, hopefully, if it gets dropped again, it won't crack. Mel is friendly, professional, and helpful. He showed me some things about my camera I didn't know. I recommend 'Mel, the helpful cellphone guy'! read more

Like playing baseball with your Smart Phone? An avid ocean swimmer and wanted to be able to dial 911 if you saw a great white shark? Just break up with your super model girlfriend and in a fit of rage used it against her new millionaire boyfriend as a weapon? Well... perhaps I did some of the stated above and perhaps I didn't, to say the least I've had it repaired a few times. So, I found this place on Craiglist. I'm always weary, but as it turns out no gimmicks and delivers as promised. It's a very small mom and pop operation. I missed it looking for it for the first time. Down to earth owner, fast repair, reasonable, and offers free advice. So when I see a friend with a cracked screen I say two things... Cellphone Solutions and ask... great white or millionaire? Thumbs up! As always, let me know what you think~ read more

Fast and friendly service. I will definitely return if I happen to have anymore phone accidents. I called and was offered a great price to replace my black iPhone 5 screen. The dude was really nice too. Also, the place is really hard to find. It's in seafood market plaza behind Jollybee and two doors down from Metro PCS. My phone was fixed in under 30 min which was a definite plus. Go here for the best pricing and quality work with a 30 day warranty. read more

Pro's Inexpensive Cell phone repair Great communication Small Company, so you do not deal with 10000000 people Honest and reliable and they know what they are doing Con's Hard to find location (snuggled in a strip mall which is FULL of Stores/ plus it is a shared location with another store) Only open 5 days a week, 2PM-7PM Tues-Sat Cash only So my wife's blackberry was damaged, her keyboard was shot and I thought I was gonna have to fork out some cash to buy her a new phone. Unfortunately her upgrade was not yet available and the pre paid phone that I put the Sim Card in sucked ass.... I looked into a few repair shops and the standard quote was about $50 if it was water damaged plus an additional $20-$30 if it needed a new keyboard installed (so roughly around $80 for all you mathematicians out there ;-) Since I have kids up the yang and really no money, I stumbled across Cellphone Solutions while using google to look up local cell phone repair shops... LET ME TELL YOU... THIS WAS THE BEST FIND EVER... He charged a flat rate of $30 if it was water damaged, he indicated to me up front that it may or may not fix the problem. If it didn't fix it, it would more than likely be the keyboard which would carry an additional charge. The $30 was already $20 cheaper then everywhere else. 1 Day later, I called for a status and he told me that the keyboard would have to be replaced. Once he repaired it, my total bill was $35... ONLY $5 MORE FOR A KEYBOARD and almost $50 less than other repair shops... WOW-ZA ! I have never been happier, the phone works great and my wife is happy. Trust me, it pays to look around. I am happy I came across this place because now I'm sharing my great find with all my fellow yelpers! Cheers! read more

My wife dropped her iPhone 5c two days ago and cracked the screen. I was worried that I had to either get a new phone for her or replace the screen from AppleCare, which cost $130 plus shipping it to them. Luckily I did a Google search around the area for phone screen repairs. Then Cellphone Solutions popped up. I just went to their shop today and talked to Mel. I paid half of what Apple would've charged and had the phone fixed and done within 30 minutes. Great service and convo with Mel! Thanks! read more

Amazing Service, Speed, and Quality. My 2nd time here, this time for a cracked screen, other time was replacing a battery a couple of years ago. I have seen where you go to other places, and the parts used are often cheaper and can cause problems (batteries overheat, screen over heats, screen front paint peels, etc). This place does an A+ job. I wish my daughter had used them on her cracked screen and battery, but they don't have a branch in Silicon Valley yet... read more

I dropped my galaxy s4 and shattered the screen. My husband tried to fix it himself and ended up breaking the digitizer as well. I brought my phone here and got it fixed the next day. The phone works perfectly fine. I thought the cost was very reasonable as well. The digitizer set is approximately $140 on ebay (of course you have to fix it yourself if you order the part) and he charged $200. Considering the professionalism and the time it takes to fix the phone, I think extra $60 was nothing. Strongly recommend the place! read more

Awesome place! Not hard to find... its in a large shopping center. Honest and fast. Was quoted a price of 50bucks to change out a broken charging port -Found that it was not the charging port at all, but it was actually a defective charger.... Mel was a great guy didn't charge for his labor to determine this! Very honest any other place would charge a bench fee to determine the problem! Thank you! Ill be back when or if I need any repair to my cell phone! read more

I visited this place twice just to repair my phone, and end up with repairing it in the other place. The first time I went there, they told me that my battery is wrong. But they don't have a new battery to replace it, And they told me to go the next day. The next day when I went there, they told me that they still don't have it, and that they will ordered one and asked me to come back three days later. In the end, I have to drive another 20mins to check with the other store. Luckily, they have all parts needed to repair my phone. And I got my phone repaired immediately. Reply to comments: First, I understand what happened. That is why I accept your explanation and just went away on Saturday. Second, the 2-star review is because I didn't get my phone repaired after 2 visits. I accept your explanation but I still gave 2 star just because I want to be fair. If I gave 5 stars, then it won't be fair to the store, in which actually helped me with my phone on my first visit and costed me $49 for the screen and $25 for the battery, which is only $4 more. I also hope you can understand this. read more

Service was quick and awesome! Fixed my iPhone 5S screen for $65 and the tech was so nice! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone trying to get the job done right for a great price. read more

I probably drop my iPhone at least once on a weekly basis. My screen finally gave in and cracked when I dropped it face down on pavement. I did some research around my area-walnut/West Covina- and cellphone solutions offered the cheapest price to fix my screen. He was very straight forward, nice, and didn't try to haggle me into buying any extras. Very happy with the service and quality of the work. Hopefully I don't crack my screen again but if I do, I'll definitely come back! read more

This place was super great! The guy there fixed my iPhone 6 in like 20 minutes for a super great price. I definitely recommend coming here especially because he has a 90 day warranty so if the screen for whatever reason doesn't work you can bring it back and he'll fix it for free. He was very nice and great to talk to. The place is kind of hard to find but if you call the number he'll help you find it right away. read more

Mel is the person you deal with directly and he's awesome! I've brought multiple phones to him for screen repairs and I always leave as a happy customer. His prices are fair and if he has the screen in stock which he generally does, you'll get your phone back the same day. read more

Mel is super nice and has such great customer service!!! He was very honest and helpful about letting me know if he could fix my water damaged iPhone 5 and when he said he couldn't he was able to fix this old iPhone 4s with a really bad cracked screen for me and even showed me how to use the assistive touch since my home button was about to fall off and didn't really want to replace it. Will always come back to this place, prices are very affordable too read more

Ok I wish they had a question area here but will give 5 stars anyways... does anyone know if they fix iPods?

I've been here a few times now, and am always pleased by the speed and service. Pricing is reasonable, and I was even able to get special order parts for a not so popular phone. read more

This place is great! My ipad was seriously broken and i didn't want to take it to apple because they just give me a new one and after water damage broke my MacBook I would have lost everything. So I did some research and called a few places and decided on this one and I'm glad i did! I doubt anyone else would have been able to fix it. It had a broken display and charging port with frame damage it took about 10 days to fix because of some hiccups but he did everything to fix it! He went above and beyond! I would definitely recommend this place! If u absolutely think that there's no hope for your device take it to this place! #1 :) read more
