I had to call at 3:15 to see what was going on. He informed me the tech JUST started looking at it a half hour or so before then and they'd call me back ASAP. I called back almost two hours later and asked what in the world was going on. He put me on hold, then came back and said they can't work with this brand of laptop! Why wasn't I told this the second I walked in the door, the first time I called after the technician had "started looking at it" or sometime in between?! When I picked it up right before closing, because again, I had to call to see what was going on, the laptop was in even worse shape than it was when I dropped it off, yet "they only searched based on the information on the back and never touched it in any other way." Bullshit. All of it. The You Break It, We Fix It computer repair was able to tell me over the phone it'd be next to impossible based on the brand for them to fix it. He saved me time, money and stress with actually taking a minute to look into it over the phone, unlike this Computer Shoppe, amazingly reviewed, repair that isn't trustworthy the moment you step in the door. I didn't realize when the man had fixed my phone that the screen was not flush with the phone because the man who fixed it put my phone case right back on. When I had brought the phone back for him to fix it he said that there was no warranty and that he could not fix it. When I told him I would be contacting the better business bureau he then told me I could bring the phone in and that he would fix it. When I brought the phone in he told me that he could not fix it and that I would need a new screen. He then took my phone apart to show me and ruined the phone even more. My screen is not even sitting on my phone correctly and has completely ruined the functionality of the phone. I am asking to be re-funded my 100$ that he charged me to fix my phone so that I can bring the phone else where and have it fixed correctly. He refused to do so, I will be contacting the better business bureau and the attorney general hoping that they can help resolve this issue.
