So, since i needed a new phone I still needed to have my info sent to the new phone from the old phone. Since I couldn't actually use the screen I couldn't approve the transfer. I e been to Smart Cell before and they were super fast and efficient. This time was no different. The cost was $150, and I'm not sure if it's a fair price compared to other cell repair places, but i prefer small businesses over someone like Best Buy Geek Squad. It didn't take long for the transfer, and he was able to get everything. Everything! Very happy about that. So money well spent in my opinion. Smart Cell Repair is the first place I think of for taking my electronics in. 5/5 stars

This time, this shop told me it was definitely a screen problem and worked on the phone. Later, they told me the logic board was also bad and wanted to charge me extra to replace it, so I decided not to continue. After I took the phone home, there was a white line on the screen, and the phone became extremely hot. It never overheated before the repair. I cannot say for sure if this was caused during the repair, but before the repair, the only problem was the black screen. After the repair, it had serious overheating and a white line.
