I've been going here off and on for several years. It's small, clean, well managed and they care about great customer service. I brought my daughter here, and she was not happy with her nails and immediately did everything they could to correct the situation. I've been coming to Celebrity Nails for over two year. One of the best things is this staff. The staff is always the same, no crazy turn over, which is a sign of good management. The other things that I like is that they treat you like family. They really do. They're genuinely happy to see you and look forward to helping you feel better. We go to get pampered and they make sure that your time there is spent well. The shop is always clean, they use the covers in the foot baths, which shows they care about hygiene as well. The 2 ladies just talked to themselves in their own language. They never asked if I need a drink. I like going to places that serve wine and I can relax. I saw they served before. But never asked. No biggie. But, I work a high end stressed job and I love getting a pedicure and dip nails. My toes nails were uneven - just not the best. Sorry I gave you a try. I don't believe any of the things in their website. Just false. I did not like the atmosphere or how they treated people walking In. Could have been better. I went in around 2:30 and there was only a couple people there. The lady that did my nails was very nice and polite but very slow. I was there for an hour and a half for a full set and it doesn't look the best. Not all my nails are even and it could have used a third coat of polish. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ! Went in there at 5:45 with my friend and we politely asked if they had time for a gel polish change and a new full set if not we could come back the next day . They said they had time . They soaked my nails the WHOLE hour as they did the gel manicure for my friend, my fingers were irritated . This was at 6:45 and they close at 7. I told them I could come Back in the next day and she persisted to stay. She flew through my nails , cut my fingers and they bled then when she opened the glue stick to apply my tips it EXPLODED ALL OVER MY HAND , legs , and neck ! She laughed ! No apology . The nails are not shaped evenly bc she rushed ! I got out of there at 7:45 . $50 for a new set . Ridiculous experience and pricey . Never again . read more

Not very impressed with this place, unfortunately. The interior is nicely decorated and they have a kids pedicure chair which is cute and plenty of tv's. But I got a pedicure and it took an hour and 15 mins. Which is really long compared to other places the same distance from me. Also, the polish was really sloppily done. I hate leaving a bad review because the woman was so nice. But I won't be going back. read more

The first time I came in I loved the set of nails I got. Everyone was friendly and nice and I liked the environment and decided to give it another try, because I was new in the area looking for a good nail place. I went and got my nails done again, and show the tech what I wanted and she refuses to do the simple design because she personally doesn't like it. I go ahead and pull up a picture of a simple design for her to do and she messes it up and I had the picture pulled up for reference. It was just 2 small squiggly lines that stuck next to eachother, and I had to keep trying to correct her. When it comes down to the payment I get overcharged more than I did the last times I had been there. I just chose to leave and not cause a problem but I will not be returning again. read more

They have gone down hill. I don't like being practiced on. My natural nails are uneven. My french manicure looks like a 7 yo did it. When you spend a shit ton of money on yourself you EXPECT certain things, that if your nails are being done they will look like a professional did them. It was my first time coming to this nail salon, having high expectations after hearing good things. When I got sat down, I noticed the nail technician had a deep cut on her finger, without a bandaid on. As she was doing my nails, I saw there was blood on the inside of my hand, where she was holding my hand in place. When she was using the nail drill, she cut me 3 different places, to the point of bleeding. She was aggressive when doing my nails and not very friendly. Some of my nails, are not even. Visited this establishment for the umpteenth time with my wife today lol, except my son was with us this time. They are always so very nice every time we come, especially Mary and would definitely recommend her to anyone, as I'm sure my wife would. You'll know her because she is always here lol. She is super sweet and easy to get along with. Today I had the $35 pedicure treatment and my son had a partial manicure. My beautiful wife, of course, got her nails done. This has literally become a home for the wife and I, even though I'm mainly here in support as a good husband. But every once in a while I will get spoiled or spoil myself lol read more

Very unhappy with service. Pedicure was fine, however I wanted solar nails with a white pearl tip and when the girl started putting it on I said that it wasn't the right color and she insisted it was. It was not. It was a light golld metallic. Looked cheap and like my nails were yellow. No offer to fix, replace, nothing. Then to top it off 2 days later the Polish on my toes chipped. Have never had that happen. I will wait in line at Venus for great service before ever returning here. read more

I have tried different technicians but their work is overall sloppy & they talk so little English it's hard to communicate with them. After looking at all of the previous reviews of this place, I thought I would give it a shot. I made an appointment for 5:15 for an acrylic re-base with shellac on top. When I got there, I had a picture and asked the tech if she could a marble effect. She looked a little overwhelmed with the design, so I told her if she couldn't do it, I would just want a plain color. She assured me she could. She cut my cuticles on two fingers with her excessive sawing that left my nails so thin that one of them has already peeled from the nail and broken off (not even 2 hours had gone by). When we got to the marble design, she tried it once and then told me she couldn't do it. Mind you, this is after the gel color is already on the nail and we cant go back and change it without starting the whole process over. My fingers and nails already hurt from all of the burning and cutting, so I told her to just finish and leave them the way they were. The gel/shellac job she did was horrendous. It is bumpy and doesn't even cover the whole nail on a couple of fingers. I don't know if she was rushed or what, but this shouldn't happen. I was very disappointed with the quality of work and the fact that she committed to something that she couldn't do. Please save your money and go to a salon that actually knows what they are doing and has the time to do the job correct. read more

Really disappointed. This has been my regular spot for a while. I went in today, and right after me about 10 girls walked in. The salon is currently offering some kind of special for prom season I suppose. The next available nail tech put the foil on my fingers then proceded to assist one of the girls. As the other techs finished ther customer's, they were rushing to assist the other girls, leaving me sitting there. I asked the owner what was going on and she said "dont worry we know how to manage our time". I was a regular customer and a very good tipper. I can't really see these soccer girls coming back, as this is for prom night. They really lacked wisdom in how they conduct business and have lost a valuable customer. read more

Worst pedicure I've received in the metro. Was excited to try the salon because of its close proximity to my home, but my experience and finished product was horrible. From the get go, communication with the staff was a struggle. I went in with gel on my toes from a previous pedi and after finally communicating that, my annoyed technician didn't soak it off to protect my nails, they immediately began "drilling" it off. My nail beds are very uneven and the paint job was awful. I stayed the full 20 minutes to dry and 4 hours later my toes still weren't dry and were all messed up. Don't waste your money. Always clean which is a rare these days. Services are always perfection (gel mani, dips, and pedicures are the only ones I've tried) and they have all the new OPI gel and regular polish colors. Not sure why all the bad reviews, this is my regular spot every two weeks since their opening. The staff is really great with customer service, I went in late one Saturday with only 30 minutes to close. I asked for a gel mani since I knew they were closing soon. When I finished, a few minutes after their posted closing time, she asked if I needed a pedicure. Which I did but didn't want to be that customer so I politely declined even after she assured me that it was no problem. I opted to come back the following day since my schedule allowed instead of keeping them an hour past closing. I love that they don't do my nails while giving me my pedicure. While the time savings is nice I feel you don't get quite the same service as when done individually. read more
