You can expect to find the same buzzy memorabilia that's currently trending inside the park. For instance, I visited Production Central while I was waiting to enter USH for FanFest and they had 90% of the same items you'll find at the shops during the event. Scooby Doo, Universal Monsters, and FanFest were the most common items as that what's on everyone's minds. The quality of the items are excellent, you'll find everything from button-ups, tees, mugs, to full-on costumes. I'd highly recommend visiting especially if you're not planning on entering the park. Staff are not pushy and they let you window shop. Most items are on the pricier side but what isn't at a theme park? I'll be back! I especially loved the enamel pins sold here!

Production Central is a store that has all Transformers themed items! It's located at the Lower Lot in Universal Studios Hollywood. Some of the Apparel include the Cartoon T-Shirts of the Transformers and some of the characters such as Bumblebee from the more recent movies! In the middle of the store, you'll see Collectible Transformers figurines on sale. There was this Gold Optimus Prime on display that was quite expensive, but beautiful to look at! There were some Transformers plushies and toys offered at Production Central. You could even purchase a Collectible Sipper for $20.00 that was Bumblebee themed! This was a fun store to shop at, especially after the Transformers 3D ride! It wasn't busy at all, which was nice for a change!

But when I doubled back, I saw that I was in the corner of the entrance of the lot. I decided to park on the street to play it safe and then walked over to the store. I was excited to see soo many pops in one place, especially the ones that were rarer and more expensive. Their pop prices start at $10.00 for their common ones and goes up from there based on rarity, if it was exclusive to a convention or so and more. There were also mystery packs and pop protectors for sale as well. The pops were sorted by either movie, show or collection. The expensive ones were mostly placed in a glass case and the walls were just filled with shelves of these different pops. It felt like a museum to me as I looked at the different pops with little price tags placed on them if they were above the $10.00 price point. There were a few that cost below $10.00 or what they actually would be worth due to damages, wear or other things that would affect the price.Upstairs they had most of the common pops for $10.00. Both times I visited, I ended up getting some pops for my boyfriend and I hehe And I liked the fact that they throw in a pop protector when you check in. I think the downside of this company is when you try buying Mystery Boxes online. They were selling some over the weekend and released them online at noon, but I had no luck the first two days and then gave up on the third day. One of the entrances has Illumination and the other one was Sanrio. This store is so much fun! It's a one-stop-shop for Universal studio's animation merchandise! You'll find some of your favorite characters from Illumination Entertainment, Scooby-Doo, Sanrio, and DreamWorks Animation. You'll find all sorts of items from Shrek and Donkey Plushies, Despicable Me Toys, and a whole bunch of Sanrio goodies! My favorite part was looking at all of the Sanrio Merchandise. The shirts are so funny! You'll see a Jaws shirt, with the hello kitty in the water and shark below! There was a ET Shirt, with Hello Kitty riding the Bike and ET in the basket! There was also a lot of Trolls merchandise! There were a few Poppy Plushies and lots of shirts based on the trolls movie! Some of the apparel included short-sleeved and long-sleeved shirts. It was nice to see Cat In the Hat Merchandise being offered by the Animation Studio! There were some Thing #1 and Thing #2 shirts. Other merchandise included bags and Cat In the Hat themed blankets. You will also find vendors selling things for great prices. Make sure to bring cash and most vendors will give you a discount. The only downside is even with the ridiculously large parking area, it STILL fills up every single day. It's literally always busy, so prepare to walk a lot. Last week, I came in looking for a couple MTG to fill out my cEDH deck. Seller says they price things competitive off TCGPlayer website, and then quoted me $6over the tcg price for a $20 card. He says they have to charge more since the booth costs them money. So... I could just buy online, save the upcharge, and you will have to pay for shipping? Thanks but no thanks.

The staff is beyond friendly and, even though this location is small, it has a fantastic array of comics and other collectables. Even with my pull list at their other location, I always find something I have to pick up on my quick visit. They also have fantastic signings here throughout the year so there's a good chance that you can meet either one of your favorite writers or be introduced to your next obsession. My only complaint isn't even their fault & it's the parking. Like most of this area of NoHo, it's all limited street parking with meters or you're going to have to cross your fingers that you can find something in the residential streets in the area. But honestly, it's worth it. If you live in the area and are looking for your new favorite neighborhood shop, this is it.
