Chicken Adobo, broccoli and chicken and coconut beef curry. Get all of this right now
    Clay R.

This has got to be my #1 Thai spot, and possibly my favourite restaurant of all time. Great for dine in or take out. The family running it is beyond friendly and courteous and DAMN.. They make good food. The chicken and broccoli is a go to, with the most perfectly cooked broccoli you will ever come across, but the star of the show has to be the spicy coconut beef curry. Slow cooked for hours this beef practically melts in your mouth. The spice ranges, but it's always a welcome burn. I've been here probably 50+ times and I plan to keep that going. Keep up the incredible work!

Basil Chicken. Would be nice if someone took the time to cut the vegetables.

I ordered basil chicken, coconut beef curry & Tom Yum soup for take out. To say I was disappointed is an understatement, I will never eat here again. If there was an option for no stars I would have chosen that. Nothing I ordered reflected the description on the menu (pics included). If your in the mood for Asian food the mall food court has more appealing food then Celadon.

Food is acceptable, customer service could be much better. Felt being rushed entire time we were in.

Food is decent but the lady that owns the place is shockingly rude. Do not eat in the restaurant and expect good service.

Food was cold and also very small portion for the price. There was barely any crispy beef and I was still hungry.

I saw the quick service Noodlebox and stopped in. The signs on the window promised fresh, customizeable, wok-fired Asian-inspired noodles, rice, and salads. That sounded perfect for a healthy-ish meal. Parking was easy, and we were the only customers in the restaurant at around 1 pm. That should've been a major clue that this wasn't going to be the best meal. Nobody seemed to be working, and we stood at the counter for what felt like forever. It didn't really matter because the menu is so large and confusing, and we needed the extra time to decide what to order. Yes, you can customize everything, from the protein, veggies, sauces, spice level, and they do offer lots of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options which is genuinely great. The problem is that the food just doesn't deliver. The flavors we tried were bland and unexciting, like someone described "Asian-inspired" dishes to the kitchen from memory. The menu seriously over promises and under delivers, big time. They do have spicy options, which my husband ordered because he likes super flavorful food. He was so disappointed because the higher heat levels barely registered. If you're expecting real kick, you're going to be disappointed. I guess this is classified as "spicy" by Canadian standards. The noodle quality also seems wildly inconsistent. His bowl was fine, while mine felt overcooked and mushy. The ingredients also felt cheap, which doesn't help when you're paying premium prices for fast-casual food. Speaking of prices: brace yourself. It's easy to hit well over $20 per person, and adding protein is almost insulting. You'll get a few tiny, smaller-than-bite-sized pieces of chicken or meat scattered around like an afterthought. For that price, it shouldn't feel like a garnish. My advice is to skip the proteins because it's nonexistent (the veggies are more plentiful, which I preferred anyway). Service and timing didn't help either. Because everything is cooked fresh, wait times can be long. We waited over 30 minutes to get our noodle boxes, which was a real pain since we were trying to make good time and get back on the road. Fresh food is great, but slow and inconsistent service makes it hard to justify this as a quick and convenient stop. I got the Pad Thai which was borderline inedible. It's not authentic in any sense of the word and actually tasted bad. My hubby's Singapore cashew curry chicken box wasn't any better. We both left sorely disappointed. Overall, Noodlebox feels like a Canadian chain that's coasting on its reputation. It's such a cool concept, but we found it to be overpriced, inconsistent, and underwhelming. If you're hungry and in a rush, this is probably not the place you're looking for.

Fair enough, but the public should be made aware prior to them ordering. But to really make matters worse, when I called them to ask about the bag fee, they have the audacity to tell me that they don't charge this fee. And then try to play it off like it was Uber eats that was charging the fee. Please see my attached receipt and you will clearly see that it is the establishment that is charging this fee. I will not order from this establishment ever again. I do not like dishonesty and if they're going to be so blatant about that, I don't want to eat any food prepared by them. I've never experienced this from any other Uber Eats order.

For just an extra $3, you can upgrade from AYCE sushi to AYCE sushi + BBQ, which gives you even more variety without a huge price jump. The iced bear coffee was strong and flavorful, and the frozen coffee bear was a nice touch since it kept the drink cold without watering it down. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented. The blowtorched sushi is always a favorite for the smoky char flavor, and the sashimi cuts were thick and fresh. We especially loved that they offer sweet shrimp, though we do wish scallops were on the menu too. The beef and salmon carpaccio were both light and refreshing. There's also a huge selection of Chinese dishes. Our favorites were the grilled shrimp skewers and the salt and pepper squid tentacles. The har gow was solid too, definitely a step above frozen dim sum, though not the standout item of the meal. Overall, we really enjoyed the dining experience here. We appreciated that the menu felt thoughtfully curated instead of being overloaded with repetitive rolls made from the same few ingredients just to pad the selection.
