It's been several years since my last review, so figured I would update y'all. We are still seeing Dr. Joe and are still very happy with him as our pediatrician. My daughter actually looks forward to going to the doctor for her check ups. I think it's because she likes to ask Dr. Joe about his cats. The two of them will chat about their pets and share funny animal pics with each other. It is silly, but things like this continue to build upon their relationship and I just love that. Another bonus point is this office is a Covid vaccine site. They provide the vaccines for all of their patients, as well as their caregivers. At my daughter's last visit, we were both able to get our booster shots at the end of the visit. Sweet! It's a one shop vaccine stop. Anything that eliminates an extra errand for me is a win in my book. read more

Went to dr joe twice when we were hunting for another Pediatrican. One word weird. He was too loud, was just talking about off topic things while I was trying to bring him to the core issue of my sons stomach pain. He clearly said start med a and start med2 2 weeks after med a. On our next visit he said why didn't you start med2 right away. Whattt!! . Then my son said " my tummy still hurts" his answer was "FIRE ME" . And nothing else. Yes sir you are fired!!! read more

Rude and unprofessional staff and doctors. Many better choices for pediatric care in the area. I suppose Dr. Cohen is technically a real doctor but his manner with patients is very odd and off-putting. Also, his medical degree is from a joke university in the Caribbean, ranked 5500th or something. Think Saul Goodman law degree from University of American Samoa. Go land crabs! If you want to entrust your child's health to these people, I suppose your decision but I would recommend seriously reflecting on your choices as a parent. read more

If your child needs ADHD medication, this is not the place for you. They make you pick up a script monthly and charge you $10 per time instead of sending it electronically. Also, they charge $25 per child to send YOUR child's records to another clinic. It's terrible!!!! I should get those records whenever I need them and should not get charged $50 to click a button to send them somewhere. read more

My son has been seeing Dr. Jo since he was an infant, he is 5 years old now. We have established a relationship and trust with him and the last thing in the world I was expecting to be told today was that my son has been terminated from Cedar Park Pediatrics permanenetly because he missed his appointment (I was in residential treatment for said appointment with no access to phone or email to reschedule). I begged to talk to someone and explain to them the situation, but the new rude office manager made it clear that she is the office manager and once they terminate someone (a 5 YEAR OLD, due to their PARENT missing ONE APPOINTMENT) it is final, no ifs ands or buts. He has maybe 1 Dr. Appointment a year if that. UNBELIEVABLE. I have lost all respect for Dr. Jo and Cedar Park Pediatrics. read more

Great first visit with Dr. Henderson. She was very friendly, helpful and informative. My daughter really likes her!

I love this place and am so thankful I switched. They have always been able to get me right in. Dr. Joe insisted on monitoring my sons asthma and allergies to ensure that he is getting treatment and it's not being passed around and has done great treating him. Always insists to be safe and bring him in for a quick check. I had a mixup with insurance and again Dr. Joe came to the rescue and didn't skip a beat when it came to seeing my kids and didn't sent be a super high bill. He truly cares about his patience. Dr Henderson has only seen my kids once when she started and was great. Very sweet and good with kids. All their staff has been quick to respond and helpful. I would recommend them to everyone. read more

I wish if there was ------***** to rate my experience. I am writing this review while I am in tears. We went to doctor Cohen' s office for a regular visit for 3 year old. My 3 year old son didn't want to wear his mask, so we forced him to put the mask on but he was not behaving, spitting his mask out because he wanted to take it off and saying "I don't like doctor! I don't like doctor", I was trying to manage the situation and he calmed down a little bit they were able to take his weight, and all that stuff. After that, doctor Cohen who is his pediatrician since last year, came without saying Hi or good morning and said "IF HE SPLIT ON ME, THE CONSULTATION IS OVER!!" I didn't say anything in the beggining I was quit because I thought for a moment that he was joking, the confusion wasn't about the statement but about the way he spoke to us and the tone of voice, I am still shocked. So after he left the room, I just decided to leave because I was shaking but I went to the doctor and told him that what he's done was unacceptable and disrespectful and that his tone was not appropriate. So, he just said "IF YOU RE NOT HAPPY JUST LEAVE" and we left. I was in tears and still because of the way how we were treated. So I called the doctor's office again because I wanted to talk to him again about the experience, couldn't let it go, but I only had a conversation with the office manager who told me that my 3 YEAR OLD was disrespectful and that I was disrespectful and that my son was spitting on the nurse, which was completely FALSE, he was spitting on the mask because he wanted to take it off. She also stated that they see a thousand of kids, even 18 month old and none of them was like my son, so she was COMPARING my son to the other kids. That was my experience at doctor's Cohen office, it was HORRIBLE, I trusted these people at the office and I used to share everything with his doctor, but I just realized that I shouldn't brought my son, or came or trusted these people because they were judgmental and instead of helping and providing support they actually judged my 3 YEAR OLD. And again the issue here, was not about rescheduling the appointment or anything but it was 1st the lie about my son spitting on the nurse, he was spitting the mask out, the way how the doctor spoke to us, and the office manager who judged my son, and compared him to other kids read more

Never will we go back to Dr. Cohen. I took my daughter there because she was sent home for school for a cough and runny nose and the school needed a dr note and Covid test for her to return to school. We have been going to Dr Cohen for years with no issues. When he found out that we didn't force our kids to wear a mask at school he scolded me and my daughter. She yelled at him to stop yelling at me as we were going back and forth about the situation. He puts his political beliefs in how he treats patients which is unacceptable. Dr Joe has been our pediatrician for over 5 years for both of our girls. Hands down one of the best we have worked with. Dr Joe and his staff are wonderful and very patient with our girls. The littlest one can be a tyrant typically. Even if we need a same day appointment their staff is flexible in getting us in. We love his sense of humor and his personable nature. He is also very patient to answer all our questions in a way we understand. I've watched a ton of Scrubs and Greys Anatomy but that doesn't mean I speak doctor. Don't hesitate to go to Dr Joe and his team. He is one of the best. read more

Friendly and efficient staff. Convenient location! I would've like to hear nature sounds or something pleasing - too quiet while waiting to be called back. Minor miss - no diverse pictures on walls. The television had images of nature or flowers with no sound. ...what if the patient or caregiver is blind... Receptionist, nurse and doctor were engaging and friendly. Been going to Dr Joe for 4 years or so. We needed a prescription refilled and called to do telehealth. They informed us that they don't do it and we had to come in. Our son has asthma and we want to avoid taking him to public places with the current pandemic. Luckily my brother is a Dr. and called in the prescription for us. When Dr. Joe found out he had his assistant call us to tell us that he would no longer be our pediatrician. Good. I'm glad I know his true self now and we can find a better pediatrician. read more

Dr. Joe is one of the most compassionate humans I have ever met. I am lucky to have found such an amazing doctor for my kids.

My son has been a patient here for over 1 year and we love it! We previously had a pediatrician that failed to diagnose my son when he was sick which landed us in the hospital multiple times. It was such a blessing to find Dr. Rose! She has always made my son feel comfortable and she really puts us at ease with how much she cares. Today my son had his first appointment with Dr. Joe. We have just moved here from Houston and were unsure as to where to go for his 3 year wellness exam. Steve, the front desk worker, was so nice! He had already sent me the forms that needed to be filled out and all of the questions I had, he was able to help me out! The nurse was so sweet with my son, asked him questions, listened to him, and made him feel very comfortable! When Dr.Cohen came in, his personality just filled the room! Such a nice guy! Asked my son questions, listened to his responses, just an overall great experience. At the end of the appointment my so looked at me and said "That was fun, Mommy!" I never felt welcomed by the man at the front desk. For someone who works around kids all day he just wasn't friendly and was awkward. The nursing staff was nice. I used Dr. Joe and he seemed nice but also seemed like he was always questioning my parenting since I'm a young mother. After my daughter's 2 month appointment where he kissed her and said she was asking for his number I was weirded out and didn't go back. read more

We have been seeing Dr. Cohen for only a month, but I will tell you that Dr. Cohen is very knowledgeable and caring! He always make my kids laugh and of course my kids love him! It makes doctor visits for me as a mom so easy!!! On top of that, Dr. Cohen explains to me his treatment plans and what each medication will do for my kiddo, educates me on what's safe and not safe to give my children! I took my 21/2 year old son to see Dr Joseph Cohen last week cuz he was vomiting couldn't keep anything down. Dr Cohen was disreapectful and rude to me and my son. I had taken my son a week before dr Cohen diagnosis him with strep throat Dr Joseph Cohen prescribe antibiotics my21/2 year old son took antibiotics for three days but after that refuse to take them. I ask dr advised and Dr cohen yank toy out of my son hand told him he didn't deserve to play with toy said if you dont take your medicine you will get a big shot.Dr Cohen said in a very rude voice to me and my son you need to take your medicine. Again my son couldn't hold anything down dr a new prescribe antibiotics plus liquid nausea medicine. Same day that night had to take my son to ER my son was given IV with nausea meds in it.Dr Cohen is the worst pediatrician i have seen he shouldn't be a dr. read more

I have no issues with the physicians, they are all great. But the waiting to see the doctor is just absurd. When I first starting seeing these doctors it was great, I was seen in a timely manner. My more recent visits I've had the last year are so, I have had to wait 30 min to an hour and a half to see a doctor. These are supposed to be appointments, not half day events. read more

My daughter saw Dr. Joe three times for an ear infection. She was referred to an ENT and got tubes put in (which have been wonderful!). However, I was disappointed with all three visits. I didn't feel like he was listening, and he whizzed in and out while spending most of the time typing up notes on her medical chart. There was also a scheduling issue on the final appointment, where my husband took off early and called on his way to the appointment, only to find out there was nothing on the books. The final straw was I just got a $46 bill for two "procedures" that used this simple ear testing device, and it wasn't fully covered by my insurance (and I have good insurance). Both times the nurse walked in, tested her ears for a few seconds, and never said this was a "procedure" that would be billed separately to insurance. It's not about the money - I just feel duped. No way did Dr. Joe need that "procedure" to tell she had a chronic ear infection. I don't typically write reviews, but I felt compelled given the overwhelming negative experience we had. read more

We have seen Dr. Joe a handful of times and absolutely love him and the nurses there. Dr. Joe truly cares about his patients and he interacts with them so well. He is super fun but very professional and I like how honest he is about what's going on. I never feel rushed when I am there-he takes his time and doesn't over book which is hard to find. read more

I'm very disappointed with Cedar Park Pediatrics today. After my former 25 weeker's pediatrician went on hiatus, I'm forced to shop for a new pediatrician. My former micropreemie has some complex medical issues, so naturally I was excited to meet the "Baby Doctor" and hear all about his experience with NICU grads. His rude and indifferent gate keeper office staff refused to set up an interview for my son and I with Dr. Cohen. Finding the right pediatrician for us is of upmost importance, because unfortunately, we will be spending a great deal of time together. Big turn off if that's how the office staff behaves. Can you imagine having to go through people like that every time you have a question or concern (which is pretty frequently for us)? Guess they're not for us. Dr. Cohen may be fantastic, we'll just never get to meet him because of his rude office staff. read more

Dr. Joe was great at first... but I showed up 7 minutes late for my daughter's 4 month check up and they wouldn't see her. The front desk said he thought it would be ok but when he asked Dr. Joe, he wouldn't see her. I went and cried in the parking lot as I am a new mom with a teething baby and lots of questions. Apparently, the 5 minute rule is the office policy. I can understand a neurosurgeon with a waiting list having this rule... but a pediatrician who brags about his patient care? I'm very picky with doctors but Dr. Henderson is one of the best we have ever worked with. She's been our 2 year old's pediatrician since she was born(came to see her new patient in the hospital when she was born!). We all love her and every time we go, our daughter always gives her a big hug. But the part that won me over for life is when our daughter was hospitalized and discharged knowing she had to return to have major surgery. When we went for her follow up with Dr. Henderson she sat us down and said she knows the surgeon that's going to be doing our daughter's surgery and assured us she's in good hands. She answered any and all questions we had and she gave us all a big hug and said it'll over soon- you can't beat that kind of care. I've only ever had pleasant encounters with the nurses and office staff as well. read more

Dr. Joe has been our pediatrician since our son was born 6 months ago! He is very knowledgeable and listens to all of my concerns. His exams are always very thorough and he is amazing with children. My 5 year old comes here too and she used to hate going to the doctor. Dr. Joe had her laughing during the entire visit! Highly recommended! read more

They would not take me as a patient because I was not planning on fully vaccinating my child. This feels discriminating to me but I'm glad to know upfront. I will keep on searching for a pediatrician that I can communicate with and that will give mutual respect and trust. This place is the best. I have had my son go to Dr. Joe for almost a year and have never been disappointed. He is great with my son and always makes him laugh at every appointment . He is very relaxed but also very professional. I also love all of the staff. The main front desk guy is Kevin I believe and he is super nice and always helpful. Also Bianca is fantastic! Dr. Joe is a bit dramatic and odd, but he knows his medicine. We were in town from Chicago, and my 1 1/2 yr old became very sick. I called at 830am, and got in same day at 1045am. My 2 year old has had two very bad experiences with pediatricians which has left her terrified of doctors. In my third and most desperate attempt to find a great pediatrician I made an appointment with Dr. Rose. While waiting for the doctor my daughter got to play with an iPad which kept her mind occupied while we waited. When Dr. Rose came in the first thing she did above all else was make my daughter feel comfortable and gain her trust. She was slow and gentle and explained what she was doing as she did it. She even made my baby laugh! (Normally she's screaming, shaking and having a full blown panic attack) Dr. Rose was a God send to my family and I'm so glad we found her. Recently moved from south austin my sons pediatrician is Dr. Goodman I can not say enough goods things about him he is amazing!!!! Now that I live in round rock tried finding a pediatrician north so I found Dr. Joseph he was very rude along with his staff but I figured they were having an off day so I didn't say anything. I called 4 times to speak with him and the clinic kept sending me to voice mail. When I finally got to speak to a medical assistant I asked to speak to the Dr. because what he prescribed was not working for my son and he refused to speak to me what kind of pediatrician can't spend a minute of his time to speak to a parent regarding their child's well being. I am in shock never going back there and I honestly would not recommend this place to anyone. read more
