The coffee here is so smooth, with no hint of acidity or bitterness at all and is very full flavored. I really enjoyed the coconut cream cold brew I had here. It was so refreshing and the coconut cream meshed well with the coffee. The baked goods at the counter all look so mouthwatering. I've had their scones, both savory and sweet (Cheddar herb and apricot cranberry). The cheddar herb was my favorite of the two. The scone itself was remarkable in that it had a dense crumb like a scone, but at the same time I felt it was fluffy and tender. I didn't think I'd ever use the word fluffy to describe a scone but here we are! I also enjoyed the bite of the cinnamon sugar cronut that I tried. It's hard to find places that sell good cronuts! On one of our visits here the owner was watering the plants outside on the patio and she stopped by to say hi to our dogs and chat. It was great talking to her and I always love supporting local businesses that have exemplary customer service, awesome food + drink, and are owned by genuinely nice people. I would have loved to give this delicious coffee house 5 stars, but subtracted 1 significant star because there is no bathroom for customers. Please consider adding a very small closet w/ toilet & tiny sink!!! The Cortado is delicious, the Thai Iced Tea was really nice (and unexpected outside of a Boba or Thai restaurant). We enjoyed two different savory breakfast items, both delightfully cheese forward. Great indoor and outdoor space to sit and sip your beverages. Customer service was welcoming and helpful! There is just an overall weird vibe in this place. I've only had basic coffee drinks, which are good but expensive. The main problem is this place has no bathroom, and they are quite aggressive with their signage about this, including a big sign on the front door saying "no bathroom". I guess they feel like if they have signs everywhere, that makes it ok, but it's totally not ok at all. Of all food and beverage types, coffee is one of the strongest diuretics out there. How can you possibly have a coffee shop without a bathroom??? I really don't understand. Open your bathroom! On top of that, they charge extra for to-go mugs, but they don't offer in-house mugs at all. What kind of coffee shop doesn't have for-here mugs?? So basically, you have to pay extra on top of the already expensive prices unless you bring your own mug from home, even if you plan to sit in the shop and have your drink there. Just weird. What a wonderful hidden gem. A cozy little coffee shop with great coffee, pastries and ambiance. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that there is no bathroom. Ambiance and vibe: When you first walk in it looks like a cute coffee shop that you would see on some quirky hallmark movie. People are chatting away and are not only here to work on work. Passed through Flagstaff on our way to Grand Canyon and this place looked too unique to pass up when I was browsing on Yelp. It didn't disappoint! Would recommend you add this to your itinerary too. We arrived about half an hour before closing, so decided to forgo caffeine. The pastry display was gorgeous. They had a special birthday scone for their 4th birthday celebration. I had seen their rosewater pistachio bundt cake online and knew I wanted to try it. Still dreaming about these pastries. The birthday cake scone was light and airy but moist, with lots of sprinkles scattered throughout. The vanilla flavor was rich. This was a perfect scone, and the sprinkles just made us smile. The rosewater pistachio bundt cake is gluten free. The texture was light and tender, though the rosewater flavor was very very subtle. I think it would have done better with a light rosewater syrup, and pistachios baked into the bundt cake rather than just a decorative sprinkle on top. read more

We stumbled upon this place while on a weekend getaway to Flagstaff. We chose this place since we had our dog and needed to be able to sit on the patio. What a great little patio it was. There were umbrellas for shade and a dog bowl for water. Parking there is a little limited. It would be hard to find parking if we came at a more busy time. But we got lucky and got the last spot available. My husband got an iced americano and I got an iced coffee. We also split the banana and chocolate turnover and a ham and cheese croissant. The turnover was amazing! We both loved it and thought we should have gotten another! The ham and cheese was a great balance to the sweet turnover. Not only is the coffee shop so incredibly cute, cozy, welcoming and aesthetically pleasing (for all you IG fanatics), but the people are so nice! The girl who was my barista was so sweet and nice. By far, some of the best pastries I have ever had! Definitely the best in AZ! We loved this place so much that we came back the next day. We tried the blueberry scone, chocolate scone, pumpkin vanilla pound cake, and blueberry bundt cake and all of them were amazing! You can't go wrong with any of them. Decided to skip the hustle and bustle of downtown on my last visit to Flag. Didn't have to worry about parking, lines, or playing human frogger across traffic. The ambience is calm and relaxing, the barista was perfectly splendid but the ham cheese croissant was the show stopper. So delicious I had to get another one for my drive home. (Get in my belly!) I LOVE visiting coffee shops every place that we travel, I've probably been to hundreds of them around the U.S. and this one probably takes the cake of being tied with my favorite one on the list. Walking in the atmosphere is everything you want in a coffee shop (at least in my opinion haha) green plants, a fun little "boutique" section with lots of fun and local gifts to buy for others (or treat yo self, ya know how it is) books hanging around, and even a cute little message board with brown paper that you can leave little notes on, I love personal touches. Holy cow when you walk up to the counter and see all of the incredible pastries you want to buy absolutely everything, the have a great amount of vegan options which was awesome for a breastfeeding mom and lots of dairy free options also. I came in with a group of 4 girlfriends and we were all ranting and raving about it all day. Each of us ordered something completely different and were so happy with everything. For my order I had an iced chai, perfectly spicy and sweet... exactly how my picky self likes it and never can seem to find, and on the side a big fluffy and savory cheddar herb scone that filled my belly and my soul. On the way out I had to order a cafe au lait breve with some vanilla pumped in and it was just as delicious as my chai. Anna was the sweetest barista and handled all of us crazy question asking, drink customizing, chatty gal pals so well. I'm pretty sure she had like 7 drinks total along with pastries to serve and everything was out so quickly and the quality was amazing. I'm pretty picky, being a barista myself and I was so pleased! Not a good experience overall. We were visiting Flagstaff and decided to try the "top-rated" coffee shop in Flagstaff but wow we were disappointed. We ordered a number of pastries and a peanut butter choc frozen/blended frappe. Everything just tasted...bbad. The frappe was completely tasteless, the garlic pastry was gross, we literally had to spit it out! The banana chocolate pastry was cold (the barista didn't offer to wam anything up either - not that it would've made much of a difference honestly). We also ordered the pumpkin vanilla bread which was okay and edible. We got some weird stares too which made for an uncomfortable experience. I know Flagstaff isn't diverse but still doesn't justify stares. Our cashier/barista wasn't super friendly either. Overall, definitely NEVER going back. read more

I was lucky enough to sample some of their delicious pastries at an office meeting this morning. I've not had the pleasure of stopping in but I've driven by several times and it really looks great from the outside, especially in the summer they have a little patio set up that would be great with warm weather. Back to the pastries though- I tried and apple and a blueberry. Both were delicious and so flaky. Just the right amount of sweet not overly "processed" so you could tell they were made with better ingredients and definitely freshly made. There were a few other options in our spread including a breakfast croissant of sorts with bacon or ham and cheese in it. It got good reviews from my co-workers.
