Caramel frappe and peach pastry

Coffee was great, pasties were delicious and the service was wonderful! Perfect quiet little coffee shop for a snack and a pick me up. The variety of pastries was perfect!

I've tried a couple other coffee shops went visiting Flagstaff and decided to venture out a little bit further from the downtown neighborhood and found Cedar House! I was instantly drawn to their seasonal menu. Raegan was so sweet and helpful and willing to answer all of our questions and customize our drink so it turned out Perfect for us. We tried the pumpkin butter latte and the speculoos latte both half sweet with unsweet almond milk. Typically at other coffee shops, if I order a flavored latte half sweet, I have to compromise on the flavor and usually cannot taste it. But at Cedar House, the flavor was still strong despite not being very sweet which was exactly how I hoped it would turn out! I definitely recommend Cedar House to locals and visitors and will definitely come back next time I'm in town!

I was so happy to discover this coffee shop with such a short stay in Flagstaff. They are known to have the best pastries in town and WOW, this was no lie. The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful in deciding best drink choices. They were both incredibly kind and prompt in making the drinks. I loved the atmosphere of this location- so many items to shop from and it felt like a home away from home. I decided to go with the Wicked latte and the ube did not disappoint. It was a phenomenal mix with the coconut latte. The pumpkin spice chai was unbelievable and I am going home to try and find something similar. This is a must stop location if you're ever in Flagstaff!

This is a refreshing stop for coffee. In a quaint town in Flagstaff Arizona , the place is so soothing to relax. Love the simplicity and airy space inside. The decor is mixed of modern and Parisian style. Ordered Cafe Aui Lait , Salted caramel latte , Hazelnut with vanilla cream , sausage roll is good. Overall , it is a relief to just sit and enjoy your coffee. The music selection is great. Self service. They are great .

Pastries were best ever - seriously! Perfectly flaky! Pumpkin loaf was delicious as well. My husband said his chai latte was amazing! I tried the orange biscotti latte and it was incredible! This place is so cute inside. Lots of seating. Parking lot was full, but we found street parking.

I love stopping by this coffee shop whenever I'm passing through Flagstaff! They have the best spinach and feta pastry, and their baked goods never disappoint! I tried their blondie one time and their coffee cake the next. Both were delicious! And I always opt to get their special drink! This time around it was the wicked ube with non fat milk. Never disappointed when I stop by, and I will definitely be back!

Such a cute electric shop! Phone did not eat first but my husband and I shared the sausage roll and the double chocolate muffin. The sausage roll was incredible--a big juicy sausage wrapped in a crispy, flaky, buttery croissant. I ordered my go-to sugar free vanilla latte. The espresso was very smooth and the milk was steamed perfectly. Plenty of seating indoor and out to enjoy your coffee or pastry.

This is a very cute, quaint place. Be warned that I did not see a bathroom, however. Lol When you walk in there are beautiful backdrops that are very Instagram worthy to document your adventure. The staff were all very friendly and upbeat. The pastry selection was heavenly - so hard to choose just one! We ordered the sausage roll (sausage in a croissant crust) - that was tasty. The croissant was flaky and soft. Perfect texture. We also ordered the cromuffin (croissant muffin). That was a work of art. It was filled with cream in every bite and drool worthy. This place is a must if visiting Arizona.

This really cute cafe has amazing coffee and pastries! I got a pistachio latte and a spinach and cheese and a peach puff pastry. Everything was fresh and delicious! The ladies working there are very nice. Overall great coffee and pastries in the area!

If you're in Flagstaff and love supporting local coffee spots, Cedar House Coffee is a must-visit hidden gem. Tucked away with serious cozy vibes and the friendliest service, this place quickly became a new favorite. I visited during their seasonal menu drop and tried the orange biscotti latte--it was so good, I came back the next day. The flavor was smooth, bright, and comforting all at once, with that little citrusy twist that made it feel special without being overpowering. The vibe inside is super cute and welcoming--vintage frames, mirrors, and that perfect warm ambiance that makes you want to linger with your drink and just soak it all in. Everything feels intentional, from the decor to the drinks. And let's talk about the service--so warm and genuine. You can tell the people here care about what they're doing, and it shows in the energy and the quality. Whether you're local or just passing through Flagstaff, Cedar House is one of those places you're glad you found. Can't wait to go back and try whatever seasonal drink they come up with next!

This was a cute spot we found as we were on our way into town and had really good gourmet pastries and scones. I highly recommend!

Coffee is good, great pastries. Very expensive, not worth it. 3 coffees and 3 pastries $40.

What options do they have that are gluten free?

I had a gluten free pumpkin little bunt cake. This is a great place.

I am so excited that Cedar House re-opened. Since their re-opening, do they now have a bathroom for customers to use? 🚽

As a Mexican, it's super hard to find good, authentic Mexican food in Flagstaff. Lots of "locals"…read more() will lead you astray with their recommendations however, Madrez is the spot to be!!! I've eaten here countless times and I'm never disappointed. They serve breakfast and lunch and have a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. Their waffles are incredible as are their burritos, skillets, tostadas, and gorditas. Breakfast always comes with a side of whole beans (flavored with ham hock) which are super fresh. I can truly say there's nothing bad on this menu! The staff is always super welcoming and friendly and the ambiance is refreshing. It's a smaller space and it does get pretty busy, so be aware of that. The best part is that the cafe is family owned, with roots in Playa del Carmen, MX. I HIGHLY recommend Madrez if you're looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican brunch spot. Support local!

My partner and I ordered a chorizo burrito, a skillet poblano, and a plain waffle. While everything was just okay, it honestly felt like something we could have made better at home. I especially wouldn't recommend the waffles -- they were very airy, almost like toast, and at $14 they just didn't feel worth it. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but it's not somewhere I'd return to.

I can't remember the exact name of my drink - something like Orange Dream - but it was delicious as well. You can actually taste the tea, and it doesn't taste artificial at all. Super good. There's plenty of seating inside, which makes it a great place to hang out. The only downside is parking - finding a spot in Flagstaff can be tricky, and most of the parking in the area is paid. That said, it wasn't too busy when we went around 8am. Definitely recommend!

I knew I was in trouble at Steep Leaf Lounge the moment I asked for coffee and the room got quiet…read more Coffee? No (well they do have one option) Latte? Also no (they do have tea lattes) Hot chocolate? Technically yes... but even that comes with Earl Grey tea inside. These folks are deeply, passionately committed to one thing: dried leaves steeped in hot water. And honestly, they do it well. If you're a tea lover, this place is your Disneyland. The selection is impressive, the vibe is relaxed, and the people behind the counter clearly care about what they're doing. There's a real enthusiasm here for the craft of tea, and that kind of passion is always fun to see. That said, my one issue was a pretty important one on a cold Flagstaff day... My tea showed up lukewarm. Now normally I'm a pretty forgiving person... but when it's 40 degrees outside and tea is the entire business model, this feels like a pretty big detail. When tea is the whole menu, temperature isn't a detail... it's the headliner. I like the concept. I respect the passion. It's just a bit limiting for my taste, and the execution missed slightly on the most important note. Three stars. A cool idea... that just needed to be a little hotter.

It is so cozy feeling and the bronze touches are beautiful. We went for breakfast. Service was fast considering there was a large gathering upstairs for the flagstaff film festival. This is not a sit and order place. You get in line and order. The line ran at a decent pace. The front has the pastries and drinks (coffee, alcohol et). We got the sweet potato bread from the front. Let me tell you! Amaaaazing. It was so soft and flavorful. It was just what I needed to pair with my coffee later at single speed coffee roasters. That is another thing I liked about this place, is they carried the local beans. Single speed is a legit good place and if you carry their beans your coffee has a great start/base. As we go to sear ourselves it's pretty full at 8:30 ish am but there was still seating. Like I mentioned earlier very impressed with service, speed considering how full it was. As we find our seating, I see the cures gelato station. I take a peek outside and it has very relaxing vibes for seating and their pizza oven is outside. We sat inside. Then went to grab water. Loved the self serve water tap because it offered sparkling . I've never seen that (I'm sure it's not unheard of), but I like the ability to just pour sparkling water if I want it. Then we had the breakfast. I had the down under with bacon. I had been craving a classic breakfast for sometime. Eggs were moist and scrambled the way I like and seasoned well. Potatoes were tasty. Toast was simple with butter but reminded me of home/childhood. Bacon was cooked perfect, not too well done or undercooked. I almost skipped out on the black beans but glad I didn't. I don't usually have beans with my breakfast but glad I did. It's a perfect small serving (maybe 2 tablespoons) that is packed with yummy flavor. I'm always afraid to be disappointed with underwhelming flavor of beans but it was really surprisingly good. I was happy with my meal Then my boyfriend had the breakfast burrito . It comes with egg, potato, green chili and cheddar with a side of hot sauce. I didn't taste his but based on the appearance and his opinion could use a little improvement. The ratio of potatoes to eggs was not proportional. It had wayyyyy too much potatoes. It's hard to eat a breakfast burrito with too much potatoes . He said the flavor was there and the tortilla was nice but unfortunately too much potato. The hot sauce was not needed. Reminded us of some type of Taco Bell sauce. Overall experience was great. It has great vibes! I would come again and do breakfast and try their dinner service in the future.
