If you're looking for a casual, relaxed atmosphere with good beers and decent food, then look no further. We came for the last morning of a bachelor party weekend and had an amazing experience! They have a great selection of beers, my favorite being the Dankosaurus IPA. The Sunday morning brunch was also the perfect hangover remedy. It is a small place but was perfectly able to accommodate our larger group of 16. Got the chance to stop in here while out on the lake. Unfortunately it's Covid 19 season....still so we only had one beer and then got a few beers to go. The patio and barroom were pretty awesome. I had the Big Salad with supposedly grilled chicken. The chicken had no flavor, and I'd say it was boiled chicken vs grilled. There was no seasoning or taste. Worst flavored grilled chicken salad I've had at any restaurant, fast food included. Service was at best average and the restaurant was not very busy. We also had a burger w chili that was average. A local gem. Beer is interesting and tasty. There is always a variety to choose from. The food should get first billing though. Half price burgers on Friday lunch is a fabulous deal. Gourmet made to order burgers at fast food prices. The appetizer choices include naan and humus that converted my grandson. The Dankosaurus Beer is amazing.. one of the best beers i've ever had before.. very funky and herbaceous.. reminiscent of the fresh cannabis smell which reminds me of being in Amsterdam. The fried jalapenos were very tasty although I warn you that the jalapenos are essentially fresh so it's more spicy coming out than going in.. sorry for the visual. Overall i thought the place was pretty cool but outside they need an awning to protect from harsh texas sun. read more

I've been here multiple times. Don't bother with the food. It is microwaved trash. Beer is sub par.

I've had my eye on this place for some time but Seven Points isn't on my daily travel schedule. But my wife has kinfolks in Trinidad and we were out for a Sunday drive, so "why not?" Called the cousins and we met at CCB for few drinks and some catchin' up. Boy, was I surprised and in a good way. The beer was good. They had my new fave, Lawn Ranger, a cream ale (Bud light for beer snobs). And a good selection of other styles. The in-house food (literally) is from Plowboys Restaurant. Good pub food. The three of us had burgers. Waffle fries usually come with the burger but they were out. We subbed onion rings, sweet potato waffle fries and fried grits. All tasty and well prepared. There is outdoor seating in their bier garden (apparently they speak German). Someone even hitched their horse on the post where they have the doggie disposal bags (there's a pun in there somewhere). This is a family and pet friendly place. The staff was more than helpful. They even have souvenir items to take home. If you're in the neighborhood and thirsty CCB is worth a stop. Cedar Creek Lake is right there with a ton of recreational opportunities. And there's beer. Good healthy beer. read more

My friend & I visited after a long drive from Okc to pick up a puppy. We were craving some good beer & a yummy bite to eat, before heading back home. We both love good craft beer and Cedar Creek definitely did not disappoint!!! The owners & staff were super nice!! They greeted us & even offered to watch the new puppy while we went inside to order. We got a flight and decided on Patio Pounders & a white IPA. Every single beer was excellent! No lie....both of us liked each one we tried. We shared the Nann Chalant (super yum) and each had a hot dog....which was big n tasty. We had so much fun!!! Looking forward to visiting the area again, checking out the lake and DEFINITELY coming back to the brewery. read more

I'm giving this 5 stars because it was surprising how good the beer was and if you're in the area it would be wise to stop in. If you like sours, they have every now and again a fantastic version. Ask for it. A good selection of warm weather beer and a great beer garden. They have trivia weekly which is a lot of fun and just a downright enjoyable experience. We are currently still waiting on our food which has taken 56 minutes according to a timer we set, the salsa we ordered tasted like cold chili and the only water to drink here is warm. We've gone inside once and asked how our food was looking in the kitchen and they said "not good" and when we said ok and walked back to our seats they said "good luck!" in a mocking manner. Disappointed in my visit. The mushroom Swiss burger was overcooked and dry. The burger patty was much smaller than the sourdough bun, which did not taste fresh or soft. The onions rings were previously frozen and had absorbed a good amount oil when cooked...I could squeeze the excess out. read more

Outstanding place!!! I had the bratwurst and my daughter had a black bean burger. Both were excellent. The brewery portion of the establishment was also excellent. They do a great job making a variety of burgers here. It's probably more convenient to eat in if you are in a large group, and if the weather is permitting the outside seating is great (& covered!). Inside seating is limited, though. If you come in a smaller group, or just a couple, or a lone diner, it's kinda weird to sit at a huge picnic table. You may be joined by another party sitting just a few feet away at the same table. But it's cool as long as both of you know how to share the table. You order and pay up at the bar, but it would be nice if we could actually sit around it & hang out. The restrooms have at least 2 stalls in them, & they are well-maintained. It's kinda difficult to separate the 2 businesses (or 2 parts of one business?) - the Plowboys Cafe & the Cedar Creek Brewery. They have a variety of beers on tap, which is brewed here, and they have good descriptions & creative names for each kind of draft. They even let you sample it, if you want to try which flavor you want. I had a glass of the lightest beer they had, & I could only drink half of the glass. I'm personally more into margaritas, cocktails, & wines. I also had to have an extra glass of just water, which helped it go down. With the burgers they have, you can substitute a veggie patty if want something vegetarian-friendly. The veggie patty was kinda dry, but there was also some other options with the fries (regular or sweet-potato flavored), & the ketchup is a good sauce for them. Hmm... I wonder how they would've tasted if I dipped the fries in the beer? Or in a sauce of beer mixed with ketchup (sometimes ketchup is too plain for sweet potato fries)? But enough of my "dipping sauce alchemy" experiments. I'll have to keep that in mind for another future visit. Oh, they also have a limited schedule, where they are open Thursday, Friday, & Saturday nights (possibly Sunday nights, but not positive). read more

The owner says staff wear gloves and masks. Three staff members are currently walking around with no masks, interacting with customers, going behind bar. Kitchen closed with no notice. They're still serving beer, but no food, which is weird since bars aren't currently open in state of Texas without food service. Prior to this, two staff members were rude when we asked them to change TV channel to a game. Two stars because last visit (in November) was fun. read more

Living in Austin but I grew up around the Cedar Creek Lake area. I have visited many breweries since they've been popping up here in the past number of years. Different locations throughout Texas, I've been to ones I'm not fond of and ones I really enjoy. Cedar Creek Brewery ranks high on the list with the ones I really enjoy. When Cedar Creek Brewery opened in Seven Points, it was immediately placed on my list of breweries to visit. I first visited Cedar Creek Brewery before it was a year old. Met the owner that day. He's very friendly with good conversation. I still should have bought one of the first shirts that had Kemp, Tx, on it, but didn't. Since then, they have moved to a larger location not very far from where they once were located (their current location). I still go back to the Cedar Creek Brewery when I have the time while in town. It was a good place in the beginning and it has only gotten a whole lot better. Family friendly atmosphere with great beer and good food. I even meet friends there for a beer when I can. A great addition to the Cedar Creek Lake area. read more

Came here with a group on several different occasions. The food is good but each time I have been here it has taken no less then 45 minutes to receive food. Service is super slow and they charge for ice tea refills. In order to get a refill you have to stand in the long food line again. read more

First time here and I thought this little place was the awesomenesstttt! Loved the atmosphere. Loved the info that the hostess helped me with and I bring home the beers to my father in law, brother in law, etc. and they loved them. I hit the cream ale for me and it is wonderful! What an awesome place! Great beer, awesome atmosphere. We tried the fried green bean, fried pickles, fried cheese basket and it was phenomenal. My friend had a stout beer and while I usually prefer lighter varieties, I found it to be delicious with chocolatey undertones. We ended up taking home a growler to enjoy later. The outside seating area is fun, open and well laid out. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They can their beer in house so while I didn't try it canned, it's sure to be fresh.
