A nice craft beer/food oasis, worth the detour if you're doing the back roads thing through this part of Texas. Very impressive array of beers on tap, something for any beer nerd in your group. Also a simple but comprehensive food menu to cover all your meaty/fried/roadside diner type cravings. We opted for a custom pizza, and it was definitely a good lunch choice. Everything was nice and fresh tasting, and with the Dankosaurus IPA passing the Hop Queen's Snoot of Approval, well worth the diversion in our trip to try them out. Very local, "pub" feel, friendly and fast service. Just wish it was closer to us!

This was such a casual, fun place. My husband and I came in for a low key date night and we were surprised at how busy they were. They have a large assortment of their beer on tap as well as their own seltzer which was delicious (I had a little lime and cranberry added). The menu is unfussy but delicious. Sandwiches, burgers, brats, and even pizza. All of it was good! We sat at the bar and despite how busy it was, we had phenomenal service.

We tried this place recently and had a good time. We sat outside on the patio with our dog. Our server was new, but friendly. The Dank Rex and seltzer were pretty tasty. The chicken sandwich was just ok. It seemed to be more bun than chicken breast. The Cajun burger had great flavor and was pretty big. It was a bit on the pricey side for food, but the drinks were reasonable. Tater kegs, chicken sandwich with upgrade to waffle fries, burger with chips that it comes with (bag of Miss Vickie's chips), 1 beer and 1 seltzer came to $58. We would come back to try more drinks.

Plowboys is actually inside the awesome Cedar Creek Brewery! Jim started brewing his own at home while still teaching High School. This place is the go to for locals for great beers, food, and friends. They have a mug club for regulars with cool steins that stay at the brewery (see the pic). The food is pretty basic but done with purpose so it's not every day, everywhere else basic if you know what I mean. They are all about the community and supporting local animal shelter, car shows to help a family that lost their house in a fire and so on and on. So, parrotheads, rednecks, hippies, to uptown lawyers and people who live in trailers can all feel at home here, come on down!

Cute family friendly brewery! They have plenty of activities and room outside to keep you entertained. The beer is pretty good, they have options just not my favorite. Servers were super nice and friendly! It was hard to tell sometimes who worked there and who was a regular. The inside is pretty small so plan on sitting outside. I would say if I was in the area I would go again if it was a ice daynn BnB outside to enjoy it.

I've been here multiple times. Don't bother with the food. It is microwaved trash. Beer is sub par.

Ask the Community - Cedar Creek Brewery

I understand it's a brewery but do they also have liquor or even wine? Just curious.

Along with many choices of craft brew brewed onsite, wine is also served. Don’t forget to come hungry because the kitchen puts out amazing burgers and pizza.

Food was ready in a timely manner. My wings were great, but unfortunately, my friend had one that was undercooked, and had red in the center which made her lose her appetite. No, we didn't make a fuss or notify the server. It just wasn't a big deal. We had been out hiking all day, and were hot and thirsty and the beers were cold and delicious, so we just enjoyed our drinks. The patio had a nice vibe and good music, so we drank our beers and enjoyed the atmosphere. Dog friendly Good service Nice patio If you're hankering for a cold brew, come here!

The staff was great, you feel welcome as soon as you set foot in the building. They offer a wide variety of their beer that is produced in-house. I even took home a crowler with me of their Pickle Beer. Yes, Pickle Beer! They also have wine and cocktails, so your friends that don't drink beer won't have an excuse to not come along. The story of my life . Now let's talk about their food: I HAVE TO tell you about their sexy fries. Something so simple, yet so delicious. Good Seasoning is everything! I was also looking forward to trying their burgers with their house blend beef. I had their OG, but I am sure you won't go wrong with any other of their options. Highly recommend this gem in East Texas! (This is only 1.5 hrs from Dallas.)

Lots of parking available and walking up to the front door you get a very lush/green, west coast vibe. The building is modern with tons of indoor and outdoor seating space. The glass walls looking into the brewery, the ceiling wood pattern to depict the lighthouse on the lakefront and the local, artist made, characters for each beer are just a few of the details that stood out to me at this business. With so much space it was a bummer to see it dead on a Tuesday afternoon but I saw that they have weekly events to enjoy, Tuesday is trivia night! The guy behind the bar and owner, Cory, was a very laid back and friendly fella. We chatted about how he got the place started, the roadblocks of running a brewery vs a winery or a brew pub. He gave me good food and drink recs for other local places on the square. He also created the menu. The sunset tacos and fries were delicious! I tried the blonde ale and also got a Flight; blonde, Mexican lager, lager, ipa, hazy pale ale. I was also able to taste the in house made seltzers. I had the blue/lemonade and Hawaiian seltzers. Overall, I had a great dining experience and made a new friend in Texas. I highly recommend this small business. Supporting local gives businesses more opportunities to provide additional options to customers. You could absolutely do a date night, girls night or have a birthday party here.

Menu 25 beers on tap(no IPA on this visit), cocktails, wine ( no cabernet on this visit). The Sauvignon blanc was so good I wanted a growler to take home but they do not have that-just whats in the to-go fridge, which had a limited selection. The steak salad was great-lots of steak and sliced grape tomatoes, not much arugula but tasty. Summary Amazing brewery! Great atmosphere, outstanding service-one point off for not having our top choices or growlers. Recommended it to others already! Can't wait to return for another visit and tour!

You can tell this place really shines on a nice day or summer evening--it feels like an ideal spot to grab a few beers with friends and settle in for a while. Fun side note: the name "Manhattan Project" is a nod to the historic WWII project, which fits since they started as a brewery first and built a reputation around thoughtful, well-crafted beer before expanding more into coffee. I went with the tres leches latte and it absolutely delivered. Not overly sweet at all, which I really appreciated, and it gave me the caffeine boost I needed after the run without feeling heavy. The breakfast sausage sandwich was a standout surprise. Way better than expected. The bread, egg, and extra cheese all worked perfectly together, and if you're a fan of a runny yolk, this is a must-order. One of my buddies tried the seasonal matcha banana latte and said it was spot on. The banana didn't overpower the matcha and everything was well balanced--again, not too sweet, which seems to be a theme here. A couple others grabbed some of their seasonal beers to go, and if you're a beer drinker, they all said it's definitely worth checking out their rotating selection. Great vibe, solid drinks, and excellent food--especially for a post-workout stop. We'll for sure be back.
