Went on a Sunday and Chrissy was the only one working, they were out of two of the dark beers, sad. The restaurant was pretty full considering just one bartender to help serve and make drinks. She ended up hooking up one of the kegs of dark beer they were out of, which made me happy. The dining room was clean and felt fresh. Chrissy was a rock star!

Enjoy coming here often. The beer selection allows everyone to find a beer they will find tasty. The staff are extremely friendly and inviting which makes you want to hang out longer. Also, they allow pets which is unique, most breweries only allow them outdoors which is not very fun during the hot summer months. I brought my parrot and dog and the staff were just so excited to see them every time I visited.

Headed in for a late lunch today. There is plenty of seating indoor and outside with room for kids to hang out as well. Outside there's some corn hole and a grassy area some kids were playing. For a Saturday afternoon I was surprised there wasn't true wait staff, we were told to order at the bar. This could have just been due to the time we arrived and may have been between shifts. They delivered the drinks to us outside and while doing so they took our food order. Drinks were tasty with no complaints from the group. They have a couple of unique beers our group tried and enjoyed. The menu looked good and had a variety of options. It was difficult to choose. Food didn't take long to come out and portions were good sized. Everything was tasty. I would like to try some other options in the future. The menu is a little pricy for a brewery in my opinion but it was pretty good. Had a couple wonky things with what we ordered. The bread for the pesto best I didn't seem to be jalapeno cheddar as it stated on the menu and the fries for the fish and chips said they would be Parmesan herb or something like that so I didn't upgrade to the Parmesan truffle for either plate but both fries came out as a basic seasoned fry instead. Still good but wasn't what was on the menu so a little disappointing. Hopefully they can update the menu so you either get what you're expecting or they can just be sure to plate what the menu lists in the future.

Atmosphere: super loud and crowded on a Friday evening at 6pm. We were still able to find seating (for 2) easily, and had multiple options to choose from. I appreciate the sign right when you walk in telling you the lay of the land! Order at the counter. Food: steak frites and chicken tenders were both excellent. Would def order again. Drinks: the beers. There's a lot of them. The nice bartender helped me choose something similar to blue moon (the divine monk) which was great. My husband got the magnetic muse and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yay for finding a new go-to place!

Glad I got to check out this brewery! It was spacious and chill. Surprisingly, for a brewery, their food was good. My favorite item was the pretzel bites. I really enjoyed their beers too... light and not heavy. The night we came there was live music - couple of different guitar players. It was a nice addition to a relaxing night out. My only minor complaint was the temperature inside. Felt like there AC wasn't running completely so it did feel pretty warm. We had to fan ourselves, but bearable. Their patio areas looked very welcoming... love to hang out there when the temperatures cool down a bit.

We came here while on vacation. The beer flight was a nice way to taste beers. We enjoys most of the beers. Service was great and the brewery has a ton of space to sit and relax. Definitely check out the actual brewery area. Pretty cool.

Oktoberfest 2022 menu- Sliced ribeye and truffle fries

Came here on a September Saturday afternoon around 4 pm and this place was PACKED. Did not realize there was an Oktoberfest celebration going on. They have a parking lot, but it was pretty tiny and the spots were smaller than normal. The menu itself had Oktoberfest/German themed items. You order at the bar and they will give you a little plaque with a number on it. The servers will bring the food out to you. I ordered the steak frites (truffle fries). It was super garlicky and the ribeye was cooked just right (medium rare) for me personally. Overall, a good time!

Nice spacious facility, trendy and clean. Counter service and take a number. No follow up or check back by the staff. Go back to the counter if you want another water or drink. The good part was the stout I had, Magnetic Muse, ice cold, smooth and chocolaty. Also had crispy Brussels sprouts as a snack. Was typical burger and bar food. Girlfriends said sandwiches were good. Ambiance 3 stars Service 2 stars Beer (and selection of beer) 4 Food (as bar food goes) 3 star I would return but wouldn't be my first pick.

We were super excited to try this place and decided to use our day off as a chance to try a brewery a little further out. When we arrived the bartender welcomed us and handed us menus said to order at the counter when we were ready. My boyfriend picked out 4 beers for a flight and I was so excited to try their sour. Which was the whole reason for us coming. He goes to the bar where the same bartender notifies him they are out of 25% of their beers. This certainly should've been said when he greeted us as we walked in. I get it a keg empties you can't have everything in stock but 25% warrants at least a mention upon walking in. We were excited to try the food too but since we were no longer going to stay very long we decided to go somewhere else. I got the blue Hawaiian splash seltzer which was completely flat but did have good flavor. My boyfriend didn't love any of the beers in his flight. It says right in the website they have a rotating series of sours and they had none. Big disappointment and not worth the drive

Neat little brewery. I'm a big fan of local craft beers. It's a great spot for lunch time and beer. They've got great crafted beer and food. You have to order from the bar area but can sit anywhere. They have two front and back patios that you can sit outside, with some games that you can play (corn hole, etc.). Service was good. Nothing special but wasn't bad by any means. The food is pretty good though, especially the chicken ranch tacos. Hope to be back soon for more beer.

    A fantastic flight!

I told our server it was our first time in - give me a flight that shows me your beer selection. She did not disappoint! 6 amazing beers including a stout that comes in at 10%. A couple of really great IPAs too. Our server knew all about the beers they brew as well as the food on the menu. Always a plus! The taproom has a great feel to it, it was packed the day we were there but the servers did a great job keeping glasses filled. The space is comfortable and the AC was doing its thing! The outdoor area looked great but the heat was keeping everyone inside. I had the Eva of Destruction burger, delish, my wife went for the Monte Cristo, she said it too was amazing. We find ourselves in Rockwall again we'll definitely be back! What a gem!

Food was not that good for the high price. They were out of fries and we were told to get our own water. Not our kind of place.

What I loved most about this place was how local it was. People were dropping in, and everyone knew each other. We loved it. I highly recommend getting a reservation. We came in and sat at the bar, which wasn't bad, but just a heads up! Bartender/server Russo - AMAZING! This space isn't extremely spacious. They do have an outside, but it was really cold. We started off with a wine flight. Such a lovely poor for a flight, and the price was only 18. My man and I actually shared it. Will easily get this every time. For food - you can't go wrong with anything. I mean anything. We were blown away. We started off with the seared tuna, the sauce was so tasty we dipped our toasted focaccia bread in it. Perfect combination. We couldn't choose between the two pastas so we got both. The lamb gnocchi and ricotta lemon ravioli everything was so perfect. Both great portions, both extremely flavorful. You have to get these. We ended the night with a desert and again, blown away. We got the chocolate mousse and cleaned the bowl. It had little bites of vanilla cake in it, so good. This place is fantastic. We are easily coming back, we need to try the sandwiches!

Flying Saucer in Garland was the location of my brother's rehearsal dinner. It wasn't the originally planned location since the first venue canceled, but I'm glad we ended up here instead. My girlfriend and I arrived shortly after the party started, looked at their beer list, and were both overwhelmed and impressed by the literally hundreds of options, from draft to canned and bottled selections. They also have a full bar with mixed drinks and wine options, which is great for my grandparents. I drank a La Fin du Monde, which is one of my favorite beers to ever exist, a Guinness, a NA Michelob, and a specialty blackberry cider drink that I was a huge fan of. I wish I remembered what they called it. We had a huge supply of food to choose from, including wings, tenders, quesadillas, and more. But what truly made the night was hanging around Lake Ray Hubbard and enjoying the breeze with our brews. The location truly makes the place what it is. This place is beer heaven. Everyone had a great time at the rehearsal dinner, and Flying Saucer's staff was super attentive the whole night. I was very impressed overall with the experience. A billboard off I-30 reads that they have 200 different craft beers and a lake patio. I can now confirm both of those points. RIYL: Every beer.

However, thereafter life got in the way and I didn't get back for a number of years. I loved the place then and I'm heartened to say that I loved it still. Of course it's the beer. Probably the best selection of beers on draft in DFW. With new beers added frequently. Always fresh and well presented. Add to that that the servers are well versed and helpful. The food isn't bad either. The menu is diverse enough so that most diners can find a number of tasty options. My favorite is the Saucer Burger. But I really don't go there for the food. Ambiance is casual. There's a lot of dark wood. Dart boards for the competitive. And seating? I recommend a table near the windows with a view of Lake Ray Hubbard. Or, weather permitting, a table on the deck. All in all, a great place to have a bite and a beer. Responsibly of course.
