Fried pickles
Kella P.

Such a fun place with a big offering of classic arcade games. Unlimited play for one price. Food is typical bar food but excellent! Quesadillas were very cheesy . Pickles were crisp with nice crisp slices inside, great ratio of pickle to breading. The funnel cake bites were like mini sopapillas and served with honey. Great selection of non alcoholic drinks, beers and soda. Great for family and friends for a fun day! And veteran owned!!

It's a nice little bar/arcade with a bunch of rad older (and some newer) arcade games! They also have an incredible selection of beer. I'll be back for sure!

Food is good. Service is great. The games are ok but a lot of them weren't working. I definitely recommend the arcade in deep ellum. This place is really small. Good prices tho

This place is great!! Love the people that work there and the service at the bar is great!! The diversity on the arcade machines is awesome they have something for everyone couldn't be better... The different varieties in drinks is awesome they have over 80+ different beers and drinks to choose from and that's not even mentioning that they have a kitchen that serves tacos, tortas, quesadillas, burgers and so much more.... Everyone that's bored at home should come give this place a try and enjoy some time playing some retro arcade games!!

Arcade cabinet games in great condition, clean... with a great selection of 80's games. Pinball machines were fun and in excellent condition. Atmosphere is family friendly with a small rave, black light feel. Food smelt delicious. About 40 minutes from AT&T Stadium. Highly recommend!

Lots of parking available and walking up to the front door you get a very lush/green, west coast vibe. The building is modern with tons of indoor and outdoor seating space. The glass walls looking into the brewery, the ceiling wood pattern to depict the lighthouse on the lakefront and the local, artist made, characters for each beer are just a few of the details that stood out to me at this business. With so much space it was a bummer to see it dead on a Tuesday afternoon but I saw that they have weekly events to enjoy, Tuesday is trivia night! The guy behind the bar and owner, Cory, was a very laid back and friendly fella. We chatted about how he got the place started, the roadblocks of running a brewery vs a winery or a brew pub. He gave me good food and drink recs for other local places on the square. He also created the menu. The sunset tacos and fries were delicious! I tried the blonde ale and also got a Flight; blonde, Mexican lager, lager, ipa, hazy pale ale. I was also able to taste the in house made seltzers. I had the blue/lemonade and Hawaiian seltzers. Overall, I had a great dining experience and made a new friend in Texas. I highly recommend this small business. Supporting local gives businesses more opportunities to provide additional options to customers. You could absolutely do a date night, girls night or have a birthday party here.

Beautiful magnolia lined terraces, another outdoor patio, inside-very clean-you can see/tour the brewery. Stage for live music Seating Huge bar, large high top tables fro groups, outdoor terrace couches, inside couches, patio with high tops. Menu 25 beers on tap(no IPA on this visit), cocktails, wine ( no cabernet on this visit). The Sauvignon blanc was so good I wanted a growler to take home but they do not have that-just whats in the to-go fridge, which had a limited selection. The steak salad was great-lots of steak and sliced grape tomatoes, not much arugula but tasty. Summary Amazing brewery! Great atmosphere, outstanding service-one point off for not having our top choices or growlers. Recommended it to others already! Can't wait to return for another visit and tour!

Flying Saucer in Garland was the location of my brother's rehearsal dinner. It wasn't the originally planned location since the first venue canceled, but I'm glad we ended up here instead. My girlfriend and I arrived shortly after the party started, looked at their beer list, and were both overwhelmed and impressed by the literally hundreds of options, from draft to canned and bottled selections. They also have a full bar with mixed drinks and wine options, which is great for my grandparents. I drank a La Fin du Monde, which is one of my favorite beers to ever exist, a Guinness, a NA Michelob, and a specialty blackberry cider drink that I was a huge fan of. I wish I remembered what they called it. We had a huge supply of food to choose from, including wings, tenders, quesadillas, and more. But what truly made the night was hanging around Lake Ray Hubbard and enjoying the breeze with our brews. The location truly makes the place what it is. This place is beer heaven. Everyone had a great time at the rehearsal dinner, and Flying Saucer's staff was super attentive the whole night. I was very impressed overall with the experience. A billboard off I-30 reads that they have 200 different craft beers and a lake patio. I can now confirm both of those points. RIYL: Every beer.

I loved the place then and I'm heartened to say that I loved it still. Of course it's the beer. Probably the best selection of beers on draft in DFW. With new beers added frequently. Always fresh and well presented. Add to that that the servers are well versed and helpful. The food isn't bad either. The menu is diverse enough so that most diners can find a number of tasty options. My favorite is the Saucer Burger. But I really don't go there for the food. Ambiance is casual. There's a lot of dark wood. Dart boards for the competitive. And seating? I recommend a table near the windows with a view of Lake Ray Hubbard. Or, weather permitting, a table on the deck. All in all, a great place to have a bite and a beer. Responsibly of course.

It's a cool restaurant that has a lot of seating, and cool decor with Guitars displayed on the wall and a small stage for performers. We walked up to where you order. It was counter service and the guy that took our order was laid back. We paid, he gave us a number and then we chose a place to sit and waited for our food. We ordered several items to share. We started off with a charcuterie board that had meats, cheeses, nuts, fruit, and toasted bread. It was really good. The bread was able to hold the ingredients and was nice and crispy but not overly crispy. The meats were good and the different cheeses were flavorful with different textures. The fruit was fresh and the nuts were a nice crunchy addition. Very yummy start. We also shared the Tejas Nachos with Brisket. The Nachos come with tortilla chips covered in cheese, queso, jalapenos, tomatoes, and crema. They were okay. The Brisket was plentiful. There was a lot of cheese and queso spread out all over the nachos. It was a little too much. The chips got soggier the closer you got to the bottom of the pile. Our last shared item was the ZZ Top BBQ Flatbread. It was okay. It came with an overabundance of cheese. It also came with jalapenos, BBQ sauce, and we ordered it with Chicken. It was okay. The cheese was gooey but overwhelming. The jalapenos added a spicy flavor and the BBQ sauce was tasty. Overall the restaurant has a cool atmosphere with good service. The counter service, ordering and paying process was quick and easy. Everytime someone brought our food to us they were friendly. The food was okay and literally very cheesy.

So, we thought - why not, it's close- let's go and see if we like it better this time. Let's start with the positives. We arrived shortly after 5pm and the place was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The server was friendly and immediately took our drink orders. She was attentive and service was fast. No complaints with her service at all. It seemed pretty chill and low key. A few people trickled in but nothing crazy for a Saturday night. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and I was pleasantly surprised. The color of the pretzel had me fooled. It was pretty dark in color which usually indicates overdone and hard so when it was amazingly soft inside - wow! So good! We loved the mustard and cheese sauce that came with it. My husband and son ordered a burger and said they were tasty, my other son ordered the chicken strips and said they were good. Negative for the meal, I ordered the blackened cod tacos and subbed the chips and salsa for the Gilroy Garlic Fries. I was very excited for the garlic fries since we are originally from that area and are very knowledgeable about the famous Gilroy Garlic Festival and all things Garlic. Here's where this dish wasn't exciting - the tacos were pretty bland. I took the coleslaw from my son's chicken tenders to try and add more flavor and make the taco more palatable. I only ate 1 of the 2 because there really was just zero flavor. The fries were probably an even greater disappointment. In the center, was a very small amount of cheese and maybe garlic? It had virtually zero garlic taste - I was searching for it. It was a sad version of garlic fries. I would not order that again unless they were improved upon. I went back and forth on 3 stars versus 4 stars because while service was great and fast, I can't confidently say I'd recommend it to someone. I may say it's a great place to chill for a beer and an appetizer but definitely NOT a meal. I think if your expectations are to stick with the appetizer list then you're probably going to like it. They have a large beer selection and plenty of screens for your favorite games.
