Today I called them (I had to call 7 times to get in touch with a real human) got told by the staff that she would get in contact with the doctor immediately to get my request through and would get a call back. No such thing happened. Another day gone without my RX. Second time I have to chase them for a medical issue. The first time it had to do with lab work that needed an urgent follow up. It's so upsetting and frustrating , 95% of the time you'll get an answering machine or a bot that tries to trouble shoot your request. Hah, and when you do get through to a person they put out a request to a doctor that takes days to call back if they even do.

I've been nothing but satisfied with the 1:1 attention I get when I see him, the problem is (over the last few years) just getting in to see him! I would give him 5 starts, but the office experience brings it down some notches. Trying to get a timely appointment now is near painful -- and if you have to move an appointment, it will be double the time getting the next one. My past few experiences have been just that, and I find it super disparaging, especially as a longtime patient. Also, the call staff I find could be a bit more friendly and accommodating. Sometimes I feel like they don't even try and I'm told to go to Urgent Care. I hate to say such things and don't write reviews on Yelp often (especially to say bad things), but the past few experiences just trying to get an appointment have left me with a bad taste.

The practice has become overly automated, making it extremely difficult to get in touch with staff or the doctor directly. Their website, which previously allowed messaging and appointment scheduling, has not been functioning for months. On several occasions I have had to go to the ER or urgent care simply because I could not reach my primary care doctor--who is supposed to be the first point of contact. When Dr. Emil was overseeing everything, the service was excellent; he is a great doctor. However, without proper access and communication, the quality of care is lost. I have since switched to another provider who is actually available to answer a call when needed. I hope this office can resolve these issues and return to the professional standard they once had, rather than continuing the current trend of being unavailable and overcapacity.

I've been having a cough for 10 days now and Aricelly took information down regarding my symptoms and not one appointment has been made to see me. I took covid tests through work to make sure it was not that and got negative 2x. It takes a few days for her to get back to me with what Dr Yu said. I was prescribed zitromax without being seen in person, not even ONE assessment was made. This is why the community gets C.diff or resistant bacteria because of wrongly prescribed antibiotics without even an assessment. Aricelly is rude over the phone. I asked for a doctor's note for missing work since Monday 9/13 and I was told it would be completed the following day. It is now 9/15 and I still haven't received the doctor's note and on top of that I was barely told that I had to pay $75 for a note. When I asked for a refund after already being seen by urgent care properly, I was told I was not able to because Dr Yu already wrote the letter. So where is this fucking letter. Receptionist always say they are busy with clients but Everytime I wait their in their clinic there is NO ONE waiting in the office. Aricelly is just very dishonest. When I asked to speak to the manager, she claims she is the manager, when a day ago I spoke to a different person as the manager. This office needs to get rid of this Aricelly. PARKING was a breeze. There were plenty of parking spots in front of the clinic second. CHECK IN - They had a digital check in through their iPad, which made it really quick and easy. Afterwards, I was helped by Zack into the doctor's room. He was very kind, making an intimidating visit a lot more comfortable. When I finally saw Dr. Nguyen, she was able to answer many of my questions and my time with her felt very thorough. After wrapping up my appointment, Valentina help to check me out and made sure to give me all the information I needed for next steps. That same day, I was able to go down the street to Verdugo where I was able to get my labs done (and had an equally great experience w/ the staff there). Overall, it was a fantastic experience, a clean office, really kind people, and I felt overall optimistic about my next steps!

Additionally, although Dr. Beeve seems nice, in the 4-5 years our elderly family member has been his patient, he never ordered a blood panel for her yearly or semi-annual Physical. We just realized this, and had to ASK for the blood panel. Poor communication with the woman at the front desk in relation to where the Lab was located, how the order for the blood panel would be obtained, etc. and she had an "attitude" over the phone. We received the results of the blood panel and many things are out of range! I am sure some of these issues could have been addressed several years ago if a blood panel had been ordered by the doctor back then! As a relative of the patient, I was told I would not be able to communicate with their office on behalf of the patient without filling a form out. With my elderly relative in the car, I walked up to the office, filled the form out and left to have her/him sign it and immediately went back into the office and handed the form to the unfriendly person at the desk. I went back to the car and within minutes received a nasty phone call from that person at the desk, accusing me of signing for my relative who was in the front seat of the car. My relative was angry and told that woman that it was fine that that was signed. I'm disgusted with the doctor and the staff at this office. We have also had issues with getting prescriptions filled and me running back-and-forth to CVS because we were told they were filled when they were not. This happened several times in one day.

The friend who referred me to Dr. Ng literally owes her life to Dr. Ng who diagnosed in very early stages cancer of her kidney, and who is now completely recovered and healthy. You can call her any time of day or night and you get HER, not her exchange. She gives you email and cell phone. The best medical treatment I have ever found. But what made me most upset is that for every physical, they've been billing me $180 just to go over the blood test when it's done. I've never had this NOT included as part of my free physical anywhere else, unless I'll expect a bill from previous providers similarly years after the fact.
