A dear family member of mine has been a patient here since 2013. Dr Preciado was an amazing doctor in the early years. A geriatric doctor bilingual in Spanish was a rare gem to find. So kind, attentive and personable. Something changed over the last 2-3 years when she started offering a concierge service at the cost of 2k a year. At first, it was made to seem like an elite members only type service for a select few but over the last year I believe her practice changed to solely serve concierge clients. In the years that my family member was a patient, Dr P not once checked in on her during her hospitalizations. Rather, she would send someone in her place. The answering service is always on so you don't get a live person when you call. You need to leave a message and wait for a call back. Recently, the call back time has gotten better. Parking is at a fee unless you park in the residential area two blocks away. Her PA April August is really great. The office staff is nice. The waiting area is small- her office so small. I get the need to find a way to keep a private practice thriving, but lately it's at the expense of lower income individuals. It just feels icky to have to pay up or move on after being a patient for over 10 years. read more

Both Dr Preciado and PA April August are genuinely interested in the health and overall wellness of their patients. I have seen both Dr. Preciado (who is wonderful!) and PA August but I see PA August most often. I am so grateful for the time and genuine interest April August offers at each and every meeting (in office or during Telehealth meetings) she is very thorough, asks questions about all aspects of my health and pays close attention and provides thoughtful insights and solutions. I've never had a doctor's office that doesn't pick up their phones during business hours . You will only get their voice mail and when you leave a message you will not get a call back. Their customers service is horrible. You'll probably die before you get a call back. Very disappointed specially when their office was recommended from another Doctor. read more

They have no idea what they are doing. All they know how to do is talk to you. Everyone who works for preciado are literal KOOKS. Their phlebotomist has no idea what she's doing. I sat there giving six tubes of my blood and she was talking to herself asking " I wonder why it's so slow" do not go here if you want professional medical care. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. The receptionist called me three months later stating my insurance wasn't working and I said that's really weird it's the same exact insurance I've had for months. And asked her to input the member I'd again and she says " oh oops I typed it in wrong " SMH go here if you want to waste your time. read more

My PCP had retired so I decided to go to Dr. Preciado because of her wonderful yelp reviews. Nothing was out of ordinary about my visit with her. She was almost an hour late for my appointment. During the visit, she was very charming, which made me felt like she cared. She proceeded to give me her cell number to schedule my next appointment because I didn't have my schedule yet. I texted her but no response to this days. Don't give me your number if you don't plan on responding! I still cannot believe how this doctor would treat a patient. I also tried calling the office line, but no one ever answered the phone. Their voicemail said that to leave a message and someone will get back to you in 72 hours. Called twice in a 2-week period--no one called back! This doctor office is not to be trusted to handle your health! read more

Presuming you are seeing Dr. Preciado because you need to see a doctor, you should probably try elsewhere. I called to book my first appointment and was given one THREE MONTHS AWAY. I made the appointment anyway, scheduling it over my lunch break. I arrived on time for an 11 a.m. appointment, but after waiting 10 minutes I was told I was going to have to wait another hour. I work 9-5 and don't have the luxury of waiting that long, so I never got to see Dr. Preciado. I will be going elsewhere. Not acceptable. read more

Dr. Preciado is my primary care physician. I'm a retired emergency responder and I have been Dr. Preciado's patient for 7 years. I have always had positive experiences with Dr. P. I have never been rushed and I always schedule my annual physical at least a couple of months in advance. Yes, Dr. P's practice has grown and I know if I have a immediate issue I probably will go to urgent care, that's just the way it is when your Dr. is in high demand. If you're on a tight working schedule you'll need to account for unforeseen circumstances, i.e. Dr. being a little late, traffic, etc. On my last visit Dr. P. was running a little late but it wasn't a big deal. By the way Dr. P's assistant Melisa does a great job with refilling prescriptions and insurance issues. read more

I came to get an annual physical exam and felt comfortable asking any questions about my health; Dr. Preciado took the time to answer my questions and successfully address any health concerns that needed to be resolved. I will definitely have my loved ones switch over to Dr. Preciado as their primary doctor. Okay, so when I first started going to this office, I thought Dr. Preciado was amazing. She's very blunt and straight to the point, yet compassionate at the same time. However, my last experience was horrible!! First of all, I had to wait 20 minutes past my appointment time without any sort of apology. When I was brought into the patient room, I had to wait another 30-40 minutes. When the nurse finally entered the room, she was rude and accusatory about why I came in. Good way to make your patients feel comfortable when they're already freaking out! When the doctor finally came into the room, she was completely rude and condescending. Definitely not compassionate as I remembered. When I told her I had a lot of financial limitations, what does she do? She prescribes a medication that cost several hundred dollars, hundreds of dollars in testing, and a ridiculous office fee. I also ended up playing phone tag with her staff regarding my test results and it took them several days to return my calls. I'm definitely never returning to her after this experience. I really liked her before but this was terrible! read more

I almost DON'T want to tell the "yelp world" how wonderful Dr. Preciado is!! I met her in the ER @ Huntington Mem. back in 1999 with a case a pleurisy. I found her so warm, down to earth & caring, I made her my choice as primary ever since. I refer her constantly & especially if you have elderly Latino relatives, she is a total professional. Her care w/ patients as far as I am concerned, is unparalled & she is recognized throughout her profession.
