I had a full chart with that doctor. Not sure what happened to it. I was currently trying for a baby and have to get annual breast exams due to my family history of breast cancer. I had the ultrasounds done and even a biopsy on my breasts a month prior to seeing her for my physical and doctor Hethumuni insisted that I get a full mammogram before I continue to try for a baby. I made the mammogram appointment for the next day. When I showed up to the appointment they told me it had been canceled. I tried to make another one. They called me and said they canceled it. They kept canceling it because they said I was not in need of a mammogram at this stage of life. It took a while before I had figured out that they were calling. Dr. Hethumuni's office every time before they canceled my appointments. She had written down in my file that I did not need a mammogram until the age of 42, despite telling me in the office that I should not try for a baby until after I get a mammogram. She cost me a month of trying for a baby. I never received an apology for her massive mistake. She is also continuously late for telehealth appointments, and not exaggerating. When I say that one time I waited 40 minutes for her. Yet I still owe $45 for an appointment that I was 8 minutes late for an appointment when there was no parking anywhere within a mile of their facility. I called when I got there 5 minutes before my appointment and said there was no parking. And they replied there is no grace period. The audacity is pretty outrageous.

Beginning February 1, 2026, our practice will implement an annual administrative fee of $250 per calendar year to help offset the cost of certain non-clinical and non-covered administrative services that are not reimbursed by insurance plans.

Every time I see her, I see that she's so busy and overloaded that I personally feel like I should just rush through my visit, so she can have more time with other patients with more, or more serious, issues than I have. Yet, once she walks into the room, she sits down and has a full on conversation with me with her full undivided attention. She obviously keeps very careful and detailed notes on each patient and reviews them before walking into the room. She then documents everything said during the visit, so nothing slips through the cracks. She also personally calls to discuss lab results! Seriously. My last visit this past week, I saw her scarfing down her lunch in the back while I sat in the waiting room. I felt so bad and wanted to make my visit a breeze, but she sat me down and talked about so many details in my life. She even gave me some excellent career advice which I'm so grateful for. A few days later, she called to discuss my lab results and to alter some prescriptions. She doesn't even rush a phone call like that. My favorite story though is a few years ago, when I had no insurance, an old health problem arose, and I called my local pharmacy just hoping against all odds they'd refill an old prescription. Obviously, they couldn't, so they said they'd call Dr. Grigorian to see if she would okay the prescription. I immediately got a call from Dr. Grigorian's office saying that since she hasn't seen me in awhile, she'd feel more comfortable if I went in to get checked out first. The medical assistant even said she'd be willing to have me come in during her lunch break. This was in no way a medical emergency too! Thank you Dr. Grigorian for being the best!

So kind, attentive and personable. Something changed over the last 2-3 years when she started offering a concierge service at the cost of 2k a year. At first, it was made to seem like an elite members only type service for a select few but over the last year I believe her practice changed to solely serve concierge clients. In the years that my family member was a patient, Dr P not once checked in on her during her hospitalizations. Rather, she would send someone in her place. The answering service is always on so you don't get a live person when you call. You need to leave a message and wait for a call back. Recently, the call back time has gotten better. Parking is at a fee unless you park in the residential area two blocks away. Her PA April August is really great. The office staff is nice. The waiting area is small- her office so small. I get the need to find a way to keep a private practice thriving, but lately it's at the expense of lower income individuals. It just feels icky to have to pay up or move on after being a patient for over 10 years.

I got the physical care that was expected out of this practice but my months of asking for more…read moremental health support and resources were undermined or straight up ignored. For example, I told Dr. Anvekar that I have been banging my head against my steering wheel in a moment of break down, and the response was "it sounds like you are totally exhausted and picked a virus as a result". My mental health was disregarded on multiple occasions and I'm really disappointed in how my time as a client ended. Editing for clarity and to respond to you: in 2023 when I began at your practice, I was not under the care of a psychiatrist, I had not seen one since pre pandemic which is partly why I began my care with you. I'm not sure where you have the information that I was not taking the medication my psychiatrist recommended if I didn't have one. If you could provide me with the name of the so called psychiatrist I would be able to respond to that claim in more detail. I have always taken my prescribed medications. Your mental health referrals in July of this year both had full case loads and as you said during your referral, "most aren't taking new clients due to the fires and it's effects on mental health"
