They were playing tunes on a speaker, could have done without that, they were turned up to a level that wasn't uncomfortable to have a conversation above, but I had to be intentional about it. I asked for a recommendation on what to get, kind of hoping that he'd recommend his favorite, and it was kind of more of like a "what do you like in a coffee?", I don't know how to answer that question. For it to taste good? I think that's important. He wanted me to have like tasting notes that I enjoyed. That's layers too deep for me man. Especially before I've had coffee. The staff was nice and friendly and let me know that the traditional Yemeni coffee was supposed to be hot. And glad I ordered a hot one - the coffee had a complex flavor with rich cardamom. That's definitely not true, I've had Vietnamese coffee plenty of times and it was delicious. The gentlemen who was making the coffee was nice and said he would look into their supply. He remade my coffee for their salted caramel. It was very mild, wish the flavor had been more pronounced. But overall it wasn't a bad drink. Overall this place has become a pass for me.

When I first moved here, I stopped in out of curiosity, and I still remember how genuinely kind and welcoming every employee was. As someone who was new to the area, that first impression meant a lot. Three years later, the same warm atmosphere keeps me coming back. Their hours have always worked perfectly with my schedule, giving me a comfortable place to study after work. There is plenty of seating, and best of all, lots of outlets, which has been a lifesaver for someone like me with an ancient laptop that seems to lose battery the moment I turn it on! Beyond the amazing coffee and cozy ambiance, what really sets this place apart is its commitment to the community. They regularly host events that are open to the public and even keep an event calendar posted so customers can stay informed. I've also seen them partner with organizations like Prisma HealthCare to offer free health screenings, which speaks volumes about how much they care about the people they serve. This isn't just a coffee shop. It's a place where you feel welcomed, supported, and connected. Between the wonderful employees, delicious coffee, inviting atmosphere, and genuine sense of community, it's easy to see why I've been a loyal customer for so long. Thank you for creating such a special place. You've made Arizona feel a little more like home.
