Hair in my bowl that is NOT mine
    Christian M.

I eat CAVA often and I've never had a bad experience until today. I was eating my bowl and pulled a long black strand of hair out of my mouth! This is unacceptable! CAVA needs to have better cleaning standards. Please do not eat at this location. This is my last time! For all those who ask the silly question of what if it's yours, it's not! My hair is coily and tightly curled, not long and stringy.

I frequent this location a lot since it's near home. The service and quality of the food is always above par! The team members and management are always super friendly and very professional! The dining area has a great ambiance to it. I come pretty often that even the store manager Pablo knows me by name now! Makes you want to come back each time :-)

    Messy chicken Shawarma sandwich.

I thought I would like the idea of CAVA table but this place is sloppy. The menu is black and white, printed off the office copier, and taped to the Covid barrier left over from the pandemic. Stacks of beverages are just sitting on the floor behind the counter. I dared not peak into the kitchen even though it's an open layout. This is a small location. Even so, they'll give you a numbered beeper so they can locate you when bringing out your food. Drinks options are limited but it appears they may want to have a coffee bar? I was offered lemonades, shakes, or canned beverages by the gentleman taking the order. I opted for the lemonade, which was very good. Cava table allows you to build your own bowl but unlike normal Cava... you pick from menu without seeing. I opted for a chicken Shawarma sandwich. It was overstuffed and sloppy. There was as much oil on the outside as inside the sandwich so I had to eat it with a fork. Uncomfortable seats, matched with sticky tables, and less than desirable food; this will be my one and only visit to cave table in Woodbridge

    Mocha espresso and falafel sandwich

Dropped my better half off at IKEA and went off to run errands. They were not finished shopping and I wanted to wait somewhere comfortably and read a book until they were done. CAVA had good reviews and *bonus* had espresso drinks so I tried it out. First up was the Moroccan Day Dreamer Latte. No joke when they dropped it off with the greenery floating in it I thought I made a major mistake - but it was good. Really good. Fragrant delicious spices in just the right balance. Mmmm! Some time later I received a message saying my avid shopper was taking a break and snacking, so I did too. This time I tried a chocolate mocha latte and a falafel sandwich. The falafel isn't really a sandwich, it comes in a really thick pita-like wrap which is kind of dense, and it's missing something for me - feta cheese? Tsatziki sauce? But really the entire sandwich was seriously impressive for $10.45. The mocha was good but I missed the lovely flavors of the Moroccan latte. I think this is my first CAVA experience. If it isn't, it's the first one I remember. I'm now a fan!

Food was delicious! Got two plates- one with steak and one with falafel

I love this place & concept! Has so much potential and believe it or not- you can order a normal cava bowl. Great service

    Undercooked Spicy Lamb Meatballs

I came to Cava yesterday and ordered the Harissa chicken and the spicy lamb meatball. After I had taken a couple of the bites of the lamb meatballs I realized that they were nasty and completely uncooked. Later that night I ended up getting severely sick and realized I had gotten food poisoning. The GM gave me a refund only for the bowl but I feel I should have been refunded for the whole meal since I barely ate any of it and ended up vomiting and on the toilet for hours after that meal. cava was the only thing that I ate yesterday so I KNOW it was them. The GM was very nice but I feel like he did not care nor did he accept that they had undercooked the meatballs. He told me that the red I was seeing was just from the spice. Attached is a picture for your own judgment. This is a really nice location with nice workers but unfortunately this will be my last time eating cava because of this.

Falafel is completely unedible... So hard I can't even break with my hands. Almost chipped a tooth! This place just opened! So bummed!

Overall, if chicken kabobs were on the Cheesecake Factory menu, this version would be on the skinnylicious menu for those counting calories and preferring a healthier less indulgent version since flavors seem muted and textures appear lacking due to insufficient oil/grease.

The service at this visit was pleasant from the front of house staff. They stopped by my table a few times to check on me. Thoughtful and friendly....and nice smiles all around. The food is typically excellent when it is delivered to my home, and dining in did not disappoint me. I thought their Naan was standard and good, but dining inside I appreciated that the Naan was baked to crispy excellence, especially on a cold night like tonight. I am surprised to see how many people roaming here inside the restaurant on a cold Sunday night. I found out later there was a birthday party group enjoying themselves hidden behind me separated by a temporary black partition. Despite the rain this evening, many people are coming into the place to pickup their food items, and the phone oh so busy. Don't expect to bring large groups here. The restaurant has just a few tables inside. They do have a couple tables outside when the weather is good. It will probably be spring or summer when I dine in again. The heater was not working effectively. I will definitely continue to order from this place. Family friendly too. Can be noisy. At least tonight, it was. 4.5 out 5 stars $$

We sat outside on the patio and it was a gorgeous day. The decor is perfect and I love that they've added plants to cover the staircase. Drinks were delicious and the food came out quickly. Our water glasses were rarely empty. Service was kind. Food wise if I were to stack rank I would say the hummus is the best of what we ordered. The pita bread is thick and garlicky and oily and massive. The croquettes would be at the bottom of my list simply because they're dissimilar from any I've had before and a little bit underwhelming. The tuna was fresh but it's a small dish and not much to write home about. The lamb skewers have a subtle kick to them and they're pretty substantial. I'll definitely be back to try more! Highly recommend on a warm summer day as you're covered by the canopy above, if you're looking for a rooftop vibe.
