Nothing close to the original cava. It is 3/10. I love cava but this cava table concept is trash

I went to CAVA bc of its brand known to be a relaxing and healthy environment and menu. I went for dinner hoping to relax and enjoy a calm ambience. The food was good for its price and well presented. However, what ruined the whole experience was the staff. They were yelling back and forth to e/o from the front of the restaurant to the kitchen. Also, during the end of my dinner the kitchen staff turns up the volume of their music player which competed with the music in the dining hall and it just became this annoying rowdy environment. I was disappointed from the experience bc it's the complete opposite of what the CAVA brand is known to deliver. read more

Love the food! I had the build your own bowl and selected the Lamb as my protein and it was amazing. Very good vibes, beautiful and clean location. It is a great place to have a business meeting. I dinned-in, so I asked questions about the menu to Ricky, he was very professional and helpful, since this is the first time I've been in a Cava, ever :-) so I added to my list for lunch or dinner to visit or take out place. read more

This CAVA isn't the same as others. The cashier was annoying. They don't have lentils. I asked for Splendid greens and got something different, 2 items I asked to be in the salad wasn't. You can't see them make the bowl unlike other CAVA' S. I got it to go. There was so much liquid in the bottom of the bowl when I was done. Dressing seemed watered down. read more

Was looking for something yummy and walked by this place. People were eating outside and what they were eating looked good so I went in. Got the falafel and avocado bowl and sparkling blueberry beverage. One bite and I seriously said "holy $@&" out loud to myself. I mean, frickin tasty! Love this food. Took a sip of the sparkling blueberry.... geez! I mean seriously. I had not known it possible for blueberries to engage in such an exotically decadent dance, flirting ever so impertinently with my tastebuds. I frequent Stonebridge and can't believe this gem has been sitting here for any amount of time with me unaware of the absolute yumminess inside. I think of all the times I've looked for something to eat while shopping there and wish I could go back in time and yell at my former self "please, please you fool go eat at Cava for goodness sake!". What an awesome addition to Stonebridge! This Cafe is beautiful, has great outdoor seating, and the staff was super helpful with helping customers understand how it worked since they just opened. The menu is diverse and has great pre-made options, but you can still build your own bowl if that's what you love about the original Cava. I like that it's still quick service (no waitresses, order at the counter) but they bring your food to your table when it's ready. Everything we had was just delicious and the food was really quick even during a busy weekend lunch rush. We're already planning to go back next week! read more

Me and my friend stopped by cava around 8pm. It was our first time at cava so we were kinda confused, it wasn't that busy and Alex was pretty rude to my friend while she was ordering but then we were like he's probably tired lol. Then I forgot to take the number plate that they give you and after like 4 minutes he came to us and gave us the number plate and passive aggressively said "you were supposed to take this"like bro chill it's not that deep. I get it it's our bad but not like we did it on purpose yk but is it that big of a deal that u had to be so mean? Anyways let's talk bout the food, we got village chicken bowl, pita sandwich with chicken shawarma and strawberry juice. Village Chicken bowl was alright 7.5/10. Pita sandwich is like 6.5/10 it was too oily for me but if u don't mind lots of oil u will probably like it!! Strawberry juice was good 8/10. Anyway Alex don't be mean! And plz don't let the person who was in charge of music when we were there get the aux again the music was really inappropriate and more than that it was so BAD I wanna give it a 0 but that's not possible so I give it a 1.Overall 4.5/10 the whole experience!! Very delicious. Restored my faith in Cava after the past few times I've been to other locations in the area were mediocre. This one is set up Restaurant style with a modern ambience. I like they have options that the regular Cava do not offer. I tried the Grilled Chicken Shawarma Pita and Lamb Chili Soup and it was very tasty. The portion size seems to be a lot bigger than other Cava's as well. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. read more

This is my first official review on yelp. Can't tell you enough how much I appreciate this new spot in Woodbridge. Been going to cava for years and this UPGRADED cava is absolutely perfect. I love Cava Grill and Cava Mezza so I was very excited to hear that Cava was coming to Woodbridge. I have been tried this location several times and I'm so disappointed with this location. The meals I have tried just taste different and are not as good as Cava Grill. I wish they would have not messed with what works. If you get a taste for Cava, DO NOT GO HERE! Just drive to Kingstowne because the food here is not fresh. My family came on a Saturday afternoon when it was definitely not crowded but the food took a while to come out. I saw a lady point out something on her pita bread but thought nothing of it. I get home and take a bite of pita bread and immediate spit it out as it wasn't warmed up and tasted stale. We bought three bowls and all THREE pita pieces had mold and was stale. Then both my wife's bowl and mine, the food didn't taste fresh at all. The chicken was stringy and the rice was sticking together. Nothing was hot or even warm. I called to speak to a manager and was told to call back and when I told them about food, the person responded "okay". This is very disappointing and would advise everyone to skip the Cava Table as it is no where near as good as a regular Cava. You can't even modify or create a pita sandwich. Stonebridge missed the mark not putting a regular Cava here. read more

This place misses the mark. Feels like they tried too hard to be cute. Why not stick to what a regular Cava Grill does? First off, it has a cafe feel and even a dedicated cafe/coffee bar. But the cafe/coffee menu isn't all that extensive (I think there's only a handful of options). You have the option to build your own bowl but they construct it all behind the scenes in their kitchen - now imagine going to chipotle but not seeing the food, after years seeing the food in front of you at all other chipotles. If it's takeout you have to order at the desk and sit and wait in a common area for the kitchen to make the food. Probably won't be back. Seems like they're just catering to the folks that live across the street and are trying to give them a cafe/hangout. read more

The food is excellent (as you would expect from any CAVA location) but the concept is horrible. CAVA Table takes a great thing and makes it complicated and inefficient. Don't expect to see displays of fresh ingredients and pick them visually -you now order them from a list. No sampling of juices and teas with your refillable cup - pick something blindly and hope you like it. My strongest hope for this place is that it transforms into a normal CAVA location. read more

My favorite place to eat from now on!!! I don't really do reviews but I figure it would be selfish of me to not share my amazing experience at cava today! Arrive at the store for the first time the atmosphere was just something else. Everything was so clean and organized. Amazing costumer service from Gerardo and German they greeted me with a smile ( I could tell even though they were wearing a mask) and I felt very acknowledged. I didn't really know how to place my order since this restaurant is new to me but Gerardo, provide me with the best service and explain the menu. He guide me through and help me decided. Severely disappointed. Just when I thought Woodbridge was improving with a Cava, I end up being let down. They make your food in the kitchen so you can't see the portion sizes. All options aren't available and some that are aren't the same(the feta comes as a giant block) My order came out wrong as well!!!! Food had little to no taste. How do you build a bowl and forget the meatballs. I ordered to go mind you the process is cluncky which is expected for new location BUT I was so impressed in how there seemed to be quality checks but apparently. Somehow from the kitchen to the side area where a team member looks at the order and bags it nobody noticed my missing lamb in one of my bowls. I attempted to call but get this there is a recording that hangs up after it gives you hours and location. My only recourse is going back to Cava which is not around the corner for me but closer than other locations. I am not happy. All I am saying is as many hands as my food passed through to get to me, something so important as missing upcharged protein should have been noticed by the staff. The staff here are nothing short of amazing. I remember this sweet cashier named Janora used to work here and she went above and beyond every time. I've never had a bad experience here, if I could I would eat here everyday lol. My only complaint: I wish you could order online. Also the menu online needs to be updated to what woodbridge has in stock. read more

Any reviews about them not having a build your own plate are outdated. They've listen to the customers and now you can enjoy both build your own and their menu. Hausan and Andres took great care of us. They practice safe measures with social distancing, explained to us the ordering process and made great recommendations of the specialties at this restaurant. I was really excited to learn that Woodbridge was getting a Cava, as I've eaten at other locations for years. I purchased a grain bowl with white rice, cucumbers, crumbled feta, and chicken. I usually get harissa honey chicken, but this location does not offer it. They also don't include diced cucumbers like other locations. Instead, there were sliced English cucumbers. And instead of crumbled feta, there was a block of feta in the bowl. The food wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't as good as I've had before. The next morning (after eating my bowl for dinner) I woke up with a terrible stomach ache and felt extremely sick. I hate to attribute it to this restaurant, but I hadn't eaten anything else. read more

Great tasting food made to your specification. Has become a regular spot for us. Saw someone say that you cannot customize- that is incorrect . This is an absolutely amazing place, we have been waiting for a long time in our area. Quality Greek cuisine with mind-boggling touch of other Mediterranean flavors. We truly cannot get enough of any of the plates we have tried. Quality and fast service, very healthy combinations in the sandwitches and bowls. I have not tried that good of falafel, like the one of Cava, anywhere in the vicinity. As for the Greek mini-grocery at the entrance of the grocery, although pricey, it has been very hard to resist.To the owners many warm thanks! read more
