I stopped by for lunch after leaving UPS next-door. There was one person ordering when I arrived, another waiting to order. I will say the ordering process took quite a while, because there was only one person working the counter at the time. I ordered the crunchy kale, cabbage, and shaved brussels sprouts bowl, topped with shrimp, sweet potato, candied mixed nuts, bacon and a boiled egg. The brussels sprouts were not shaved. The pieces were too large and hard for me to eat, so I ended up taking them out of my salad. The shrimp was seasoned nicely, and the sweet potato had a nice crunch to it. I enjoyed my salad! It was very tasty. I was taken aback by the $26 cost considering I did add extra shrimp. I still thought that was a bit high. I would not revisit this establishment, but it was delicious, so I suggest you try it for yourself.

    Very clean and tidy!!!

First time here I got the Kale Caesar Bowl* and I love the portions and the proportion of each ingredient. The dressing was supposed to be cilantro, but I didn't really taste it and maybe because I love a lot of cilantro, and it just wasn't enough cilantro taste for me. The ladies behind the counter were prompt, and readily took my order and prepared it. The bread was definitely freshly made and soft though I wish it was a little bit more sweeter. The dining area is very clean and tidy. I didn't see any recycling containers, though, when discarding my containers.

First off...I really want to give this place 1-star so that I can keep it to myself, but let me be honest with y'all. OMG! There's a GREEN AND DELICIOUS RESTAURANT in the area. Now...it is a bit out of the way, but I'll gladly make the voyage to this restaurant again soon! I had the salmon with the kale mix (kale, cabbage, and Brussel sprouts). I also added tomatoes, feta, and cucumbers, which totaled approximately $20.00. I did add an 18% tip on top of that. It's pricey, but unfortunately, it costs to eat healthy AND we don't have many restaurants like this in the area AND...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Everything was fresh, crunchy, tasty, and the service I received was EXCELLENT. Do yourself a favor and support this restaurant!

This was much needed in the community...something different from seafood, friend chicken & Chinese. I love a good salad spot. The interior reminded me of Sweet Green in Pentagon City. The staff was friendly and professional. The restaurant is super clean, accommodating and nice. I reduced a star because I placed a pick up order of salad 45 mins ahead of time while receiving services at Herbal Infusions... when I arrived, I wasn't sure who I should approach for my online order. Since there two customers ahead of me, I patiently waited only to find out my order was not fulfilled. So I wanted a few minutes, which was okay for today since I wasn't in a rush. I hope this was a one-time lapse in judgement but I do plan to come back. Also, their shrimp salad consists of large shrimp.

So i had been craving a really good simple salad. My main craving was the red cabbage. So I called first to inquire and the phone conversation made me get in the vehicle and go. The restaurant was clean upon entry, and I was welcomed by the young lady manning the front line. I ordered a build my own salad: Mixed Greens Rainbow Carrots Broccoli Cucumber Feta Cheese Red Cabbage Red Onions I really wanted some protein so I inquired about the chicken? I asked if it contained soy protein which some places use like the Perdue short cut chicken contains. The young lady didn't know so i asked if she could check. She peaked through the kitchen area door to ask a female if she knew. At this point I felt like i was bothering the person in the back. Instead of going to review package ingredients, i was told just to not get chicken. I was very disappointed but kept my composure. I noticed they had rolls so requested one.. ( was very good) but changed .50 should have been free i thought. I also purchased a juice...haven't tried yet... Will i return, not sure. Big ups to front line young lady though and i did leave tip in Tip Jar.

Good concept but the customer service is piss poor. I wanted so bad to be able to support this business especially since it is Black owned. It takes about 17 minutes to order a cold salad. The also sell great pressed juices; however you have to deal with the poor customer service and and slow service. Again great idea but they need to focus on hiring.

I noticed this place one of the last times I was over in the shopping center, I decided to stop by this time after leaving UPS. Honestly couldn't even tell they were open, as it wasn't very bright inside. There was one person ordering when I walked in so I looked at the menu while he finished up. I will say the idea of the make your own salad bar is great, but the price not so much. I did the build your own, initially wanting to get the salmon, but the girl working said it's only 4 pieces at $2 extra. The salmon pieces I saw weren't looking great to begin with so I went ahead and tried the chicken. Very small pieces of diced chicken, I actually don't remember tasting it. I was quite thrown off with the fact that it's also an extra $1.50 just to add cheese, CHEESE. But you can get bread, croutons or tortilla strips (I believe) added for no extra cost. I got kale and jasmine rice, chicken, sweet potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower and the cilantro Caesar dressing w/ croutons. My bowl was actually good, the cauliflower pieces being my favorite part. The girl working was friendly and wasn't rushing me even though I had no clue what I wanted. Not sure if I'd go back and try it again.

Whatever seasoning they use is chef's kiss -- I selected garlic as a topping but I could tell there was more going on. The crab meat was warm and perfectly seasoned too. My only note: the 16oz eats more like a side salad than a main dish. For $13 it's competitive with a Sweetgreen or Cava, so next time I'm just sizing up to the 32oz. Service : 8/10 -- The young lady at the register was pleasant and made sure my order was complete. I did wait an extra 5-8 minutes past my 5:55 pickup time, but nothing major. Ambiance : 9/10 -- Not your average salad spot. The vibe is cozy -- think relaxed bar & lounge on a smaller scale. Love that the menu item names are fun and creative, though the menu itself feels a little busy and could be simplified. I'd love to see Kenny Kale franchised on a larger scale someday. Overall: 9/10 -- Kenny Kale is killing it and is def a keeper on my list I found this place and ordered the same day -- that's how excited I was. I'm genuinely thrilled to have a unique, healthy restaurant in the area that isn't another Chipotle, Tropical Smoothie, or..... fried chicken spot that keep getting placed in Black communities instead of diverse, health-forward choices. Solid 3.5 Reading of…read morethe review prior to mine had me concerned enough to not even want to try this place. Luckily, I looked at that review as an outlier and decided to try anyway based on many of the other favorable ones. Ordered the stuffed salmon. It comes with crab meat and a single shrimp sitting on top. Salmon was very smoky which was very nice. There was a tiny bit of shell in the crab meat and it was a tad dry (as was the fish). The dipping sauce had way too much apple cider vinegar. Food was otherwise seasoned very well. The order was prepared and delivered to me outside in around 5 min so I suspect the food was probably sitting for a bit under heat lamps. Next time I'll get here immediately after opening. Smoked red skinned garlic mashed potatoes was my side, along with sauteed cabbage. The mashed potatoes almost look like dressing due to all the seasonings. Everything was a little over $30. The area where this restaurant is located is strictly no-frills commercial industrial park. The kind of area where you typically see abundant auto repair shops and assorted trade commercial businesses, like glass install or tile. Nothing retail or sexy back there at all, and it's adjacent to Weingartner Chevrolet. The service also is (no-frills) friendly, grab and go after placing your order via their qsr menu. No place to sit because you aren't staying. The folks can cook so I would actually check it out again. They have interesting lamb entrees and some other stuff I'd like to try.

We made a reservation for our party. Upon arrival, there was a bit of a wait while they got our table together. I'd say less than 5 mins max. Looking at the menu... it was a bit overwhelming. Not that there are a lot of options but each menu item sounded so good. Our table opted to try different menu items and share. We ordered the: - fried deviled eggs, fried calamari, biscuits and jam, seafood gumbo cup, collard greens, scrambled eggs and candied yams. We also ordered these entrees: catfish sandwich & fries, shrimp and grits, crispy salmon hash, smothered chicken and biscuits. When I say, the entire table was pleasantly satisfied with what was presented to us. So much so, I wanted to personally go back to the kitchen to thank the chef. The portions were great. So great we definitely had to take some home. The only thing I would say could be better is the seafood gumbo cup and the cocktails (or lack thereof). The seafood gumbo could have been seasoned a bit more but nothing that a little salt and pepper couldn't fix. Also, this location doesn't serve cocktails though it is on their menu. I'm assuming due to internal issues, this location cannot serve alcoholic beverages at the moment. So that is something to keep in mind.
