Great Mediterranean style bowls. The service was good. I got my order to go. It was an online order. The ambiance is cool, I've just never eaten inside before.

Rl ordered of website with everything and received this and payed almost $20 for 0/10

Worst restaurant ever! I ordered with the sides they offer and when I opened the bag its just RICE CHICKEN AND TZATZIKI SAUCE Never order from them

One of the best spots for fast casual & healthy eats at the Harbor! Unless you hate Mediterranean food, this is definitely the spot to be and check out!! I've eaten here twice now and I have not but good things to share. The flavor, quality and portions are perfect. You get your monies worth here! Looking forward to coming back. . This place is located the National Jarbor, facing the pier which makes it a great spot to grab some healthy eats and.chill on the water while enjoying your meal. . You have the option of dining in or outside. Quick eat, delicious, and affordable! Definitely, you can't go wrong with this place!

Mezeh has the same concept as Cava, a Mediterranean Chipotle, but with some variance in meats and toppings! I decided to build my own bowl. What stood out to me the most were the crunchy chickpeas toppings which were delicious. Wish I asked for more of that. I also appreciated that your portions for each item added weren't limited besides meat of course. They also give you a free pita on the side if you get a bowl. The server happily answered my questions, which is much appreciated. Service is quick and efficient. Note, the ventilation isn't super thorough so expect to smell like grilled meat if you decide to dine in. It's a casual eatery. This location is clean and modern. It's also one of the more affordable places within the National Harbor area.

We got to Mezeh when they first opened, so everything was fresh. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean with a good amount of seating. They offer 2 size bowls. We ordered the regular size which has unlimited toppings. The small bowl has 5 toppings max. I got grains and greens. It was a small upcharge because I wanted the greens on the side. I can't finish a bowl in one sitting, the lettuce gets weird if it's reheated. So on the side is how I prefer to get it. I got chicken and lots of different veggies, hummus , and sauces. The meats have an upcharge if it's not chicken. It also came with a pita bread. For about $14 my bowl was a good portion. The food tasted fresh and I liked the hummus and sauces. Very tasty. The pickled onions make it pop, and I really liked the crunchy pita topping. I'd definitely get it again. Check them out!!!

Good food that feels light. We really enjoyed our meals. The portion size is good. The ladies behind the counter were helpful in making choices. The dining space is nice but the odor near the bathroom was terrible. It may have even beyond their control but it was not pleasant.

Bowl with half steak shawarma and half lamb kefta (not a lot of meat, hidden under all the toppings)

Mezeh is great for a quick, light bite in National Harbor. I went with 2 friends and we all ordered the make-your-own bowl with half/half meat. Like Cava or Naf-Naf Grill or Chipotle, you can add a bunch of different toppings which was great. The lamb kefta and steak shawarma were bland so ask for lots of sauce. We paid in order, but 2 of us were charged about $14, but the last person was charged $21! They claimed they gave her more meat (note: their meat portions are very small) when she didn't ask for double meat--Sadly the meat portion looked the same as the other bowls.

My spinach, arugula, spicy chicken, feta cheese and 2 different hummus for a perfect keto friendly meal--yum

My first time in this nice Mediterranean restaurant. I am looking for some new things in my reviews and one is keto friendly food and vegan options along with my usual review of the food, staff, menu, facilities. Food-delicious! I had seen on the website that they had a bowl with close to what I ordered. We went there for the bowl on website but it was build your own. Ok, still workable. Base-baby spinach, romaine lettuce, arugula, next chicken-I got the hot spicy chicken (mild had big chunks of onions and I can't eat onions-that was disappointing to not get the kabob flavor). The chicken lived up to its word and was spicy enough to require the feta cheese to balance out the flavor. The two hummus were spicy and plain and both delicious. I can say the bowl was more than I could eat in one sitting. 4/5 for food only because nearly everything had onions!! The restaurant was empty so we had our pick of seats and got a table/booth. The tables were clean and the restroom clean. It was quiet and relaxing. But bring milk for the spicy chicken:-). 5/5 for cleanliness, restroom clean and no overbearing loud music playing. Thank you . The fruit juice was an absolute amazing bonus for me. Tried all 4 & all great. I particularly like the far right one with turmeric, mandarin? Got some extra anti inflammatory into me naturally! Absolute perk 5/5 Overall I recommend this place for anyone. It is handicapped accessible but parking is not easily found so a drop off & go park is best if you are handicapped or disabled.

We were instead on the pier in retrofitted shipping containers enjoying Spanish shareable plates with a great view. This place was crowded that's for sure. Service was great. We had a small wait upon check in but they made up for it by putting us in a nice location. Overall this was a great choice for a weekend lunch with friends.

I would note water bugs are a huge issue at this restaurant, but that's just because you are on the pier and sitting on/near the water but the water bugs are constantly hovering you and getting in your food and drinks. Other than that, service was OK, just because the service was also delayed due to being so busy that Saturday night. Unfortunately, our group of 4 was sat and then we did not get to order food for another 15 minutes after getting our water. Once we ordered, Our group got a few appetizers to share for the table and along with a cocktail each, but it was disappointing because we did not get our cocktails until after the table finished the appetizers. I would say this place would be best for a midday quick bite or during non-busy/peak hours.

As much as I love the cocktail bar next door, I had no idea this epic place was here. The inside is a bit dark, yet so welcoming and cozy. They are kind enough to give you a glass of water and the cocktail menu in case you want to get started. We were fancy and did the hearth table and WHAT a journey it was. From surprise drink tastings and bites to pretty much trying all new food items and combinations, I would absolutely do it again. I could name the things that I had, but you may or may not know what they are. All I can say was that it was seven delightful courses that left me just right. The friendly, professional staff made it even better. Check the reservations and to the hearth table. Do it.

KenScale: 8.5/10 Visit: March 2026…read more My wife Jun and I have been to Albi multiple times already and on every visit we end up ordering the exceptional lamb kebabs for our final savory dish. Earlier this year, I saw that the restaurant started offering a large duck rice dish on the menu and, knowing how much Jun loves duck, tried to see if I can book a table. We had a reservation in January but we had to cancel that due to a last-minute trip to New York, and really struggled to find an open seating on a reasonable hour (we just had no appetite for a dinner past 9 p.m.) until recently last month. As we opened up the menu, we were very sad to learn that the duck was no longer on the menu (our server couldn't give a definitive time on when the dish will be back), but that didn't dampen our enthusiasm for another outstanding meal at Albi. Since my last review of the restaurant was in 2023, I figured a re-review was in order, especially given that this visit was our 10th total. When it comes to Middle Eastern spreads, it's hard to beat what Albi offers along with a giant pita bread. At this point, Jun had tried the mushroom hummus with confit egg yolk multiple times, and yet she couldn't again stop marveling how addictively delicious the hummus was with alluringly smoky flavor of mushroom. One new spread that we saw for the first time and decided to order was msabaha with embered firefly squid and white peas covered in tahini; not surprisingly, it was another standout dish even if squid is not an ingredient one would ordinarily see in these spreads. Another item on the menu that we tried for the first time (and really liked) was malfouf, a wrap of cabbages stuffed with smoked beef cheek and red shatta condiment. By now, we have seen multiple variations of the lamb kebabs at Albi and every time we walked out of the restaurant happily stuffed. For the current season, we were greeted with loin and smoked belly shish accompanied by vegetables of charred turnips and brassicas. The lamb's texture as usual was quite outstanding, and the charred vegetables (as well as a side dish of Fattoush salad with orchard fruits and smoked feta) also offered a wonderful complement to the meat. If someone asks me to list the most iconic dishes in DC, I won't hesitate to include the lamb kebabs from Albi. During our trip to Jordan in February, we fell in love with a popular dessert called knafeh (made with pastry dough layered with cheese and soaked in syrup); we never had a chance to try the same from Albi until this visit, and Jun remarked that the delightful knafeh was just like how she remembered from a restaurant in Petra, except the pomegranate sorbet that was placed in the middle. It seems like getting a reservation at Albi is becoming more and more difficult over time. The reservation window opens on the first day of each month and once past that first day, it is really challenging to find a seating during early and prime-time dinner windows, especially for the main dining room. This visit was the first time we had to be seated at the bar as we were slightly late to the reservation party, but the bar seating actually wasn't bad at all, as we chatted with the friendly bartenders from time to time while enjoying the food. As always, the beverage list at Albi is outstanding, featuring many Middle East-based cocktails and wines. As we increasingly find ourselves in our culinary journey together these days visiting our old favorites more often rather than checking out new places all the time, Jun and I are very thankful that Albi is in DC. It still is firing on all cylinders even after being around for several years in the DC dining scene, and deserves to be one of the best restaurants in the city.
