I've always liked cava and I'm so glad I found a location closer to where I live! Before I found out about this location, I was always going to the Pasadena location, and while that location was great, they always ran outta food, whether it was the protein options or the toppings options. I've been going to this location for awhile now and so far, they only thing they ran out of onetime was the right rice. I always get the same thing every-time which is my splendid greens mix and grilled chicken along with their garlic dressing! I really love how many topping choices they have and it just makes you feel so healthy because there's so many veggies! You can always mix up the flavor by changing up the dressing! I also love the red pepper hummus which I get every-time! The atmosphere is really nice and I love how they have outdoor seating too! My only complaint is that it's always really cold in there. Not sure if they need to keep the thermostat at a much cooler temperature to keep the food fresh, but if they can turn it down a notch, that would be great because I always get so cold while eating in there! read more

Unfortunately, that was not the case with the chicken obviously being of very low quality with hard chunks of ligament and the meat just being a gooey mush and each bite of the brown rice having hard, uncooked grains. WOW. Food is so fresh and flavorful. I got the DIY bowl and I enjoyed the grilled steak and chicken. The pita bread and pita chips are just a snack/meal on their own. The freshly made cucumber mint agua fresca is the best and so refreshing on a hot day. Guy helped us out and explained the menu to us since it was our first time. tried out CAVA for the 1st time today & not a fan of it, this is not Mediterranean food, its Americanize Mediterranean food. its Chipotle (which is next door, door down) if Chipotle was franchise overseas to the Mediterranean. exact same tasting, a copy-cat of Chipotle. for how pricey their bowls are, and i got a Build a Bowl, their utensils are so cheapy & flimsy that the fork curved/bent outwards, its not even the 99cents utensils kind or the corner food truck utensils. the staff behind the counter was very helpful & talked me the way step by step. for 2bowls, a build a bowl (steak & chicken) and a harrisa avocado bowl, it was $38.96 doubt ill be having CAVA anytime soon or in the near future. ill go next door to Chipotle any day of the wk before coming back to any CAVA locations. read more
