Got a grains and greens bowl here on Saturday afternoon with grilled chicken, the chicken was rubbery and tough, had a very awful and distinct taste. Hours after eating I was up all night throwing up, was awake for 30 hours ended up having to go to urgent care because of all my symptoms. They clearly do not check the "freshness" of their meats. And their mistake and carelessness caused such an awful outcome for me. It was confirmed that It was food poisoning from this establishment. Food is absolutely delicious! Either they're always busy and don't have the staff to clean the food line, or it's not a priority. I've been there for lunch and dinner and have the same observation about cleanliness. One time I ordered my usual Avocado Lentil bowl and when the last worker of the line asked me what else I wanted in my bowl, I had to recite what normally comes with this dish. When I said, "and avocado" I was told that would be an extra charge- I then asked, "on the Avocado Lentil bowl?", the worker snapped at me with "I didn't know this was a craft bowl!". I order from here pretty regularly. I don't recall any orders being incorrect thus far. It tastes great, good topping options, and since a bowl is an entire meal $10-13 isn't bad. Good rewards program. I think the only complaint on quality is that sometimes the falafel is dry. Side note for the app: I wish the tipping option had a "custom" button or went above 20%. When I order for just myself 20% only comes out to $3 and change and I'd like to be able to add more. read more

I can't say enough about this place... first off the food is BOMB.com. So good that you need to go with some turn of the millennium slang phrases to describe it. Second, the staff is the friendliest around. I'm on a first name basis with most in the store. After eating here far too much in the past weeks I was compelled to make a couple of shout outs. Anastasia has more positive energy than anyone I know- even when you show up one minute before closing. Cayden makes some quality recommendations for flavor combinations. Savannah rocks as a lead, so helpful, kind and you can tell that the whole staff loves being there with her.... finally, you can't forget Joe who locks it down on the grill in the back. Not too much interaction with him, but in addition to releasing the flavors from the grill, he is guest focused in everything he does. If you don't like good food and happy people... don't eat here, but if you like good people and tasty food... get in here now! read more

Basically another typical chain store. I had the Greek chicken pita. The meat was good and not too dry. The main issue was the food was over seasoned. Each bite was overwhelming, but definitely not a bad choice for fast food. At least it is a healthier version. Might have been better with a different sauce. read more

I love this place, super unique flavors and high quality. The menu has plenty to choose from but you get to mix and match any way you want with all the different Mediterranean flavors you can think of, I like to freak out the server by having them make me a plate the way they prefer and they always happily knock it out of the park. I'm not a salad bar type of person, Since I'm vegan I'm looking for ingredients that have enough nutritional content to fill my needs in terms of protein specially and cava caught my attention since I saw they had lentils for protein and basmati rice which I really like. My order was half brown rice (I didn't order the basmati because it looked like it had butter and I didn't really asked) half lentils, hummus, roasted brusell sprouts and carrots, corn, black olives and pita bread. Everything was very good, I did like the fact that I saw them taking pita put of the oven and grilling the meats which you usually don't see in places where food is already displayed. I will definitely come back again. P.S: I bought the bowl to share with hubby and realized later too late that I ate it all and didn't give him anything. read more

Start to finish, 11/10 incredible. Walking in the atmosphere was extremely relaxed and inviting. Very modern without being too much. We were greeted upon walking in, and my wife and I were about 5 steps apart and each received one. Joey and Heiley were both attentive in explaining the menu and what was included in each option. My wife got a Greek salad from the chef's menu with roasted hummus. She completely demolished the bowl which is rare in one sitting and was raving about how tasty it was. I got a pita with beef meatballs, red pepper hummus, tzatziki, and veg with garlic sauce. The general manager, Joey, was great in explaining and even suggesting when I asked about which toppings would pair well. With sauces and protein I ended up with 9 different toppings for a steal. I left feeling excited for not only the pita, but that we may have found a new dinner spot in walking distance. Not only is Cava affordable but the staff are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. When a friend told me about this place, I was a bit skeptical but intrigued. Her way of putting it is "it's something like chipotle, but with better options!" Lol! And I eat chipotle like often, so I didn't know what to expect. I went ahead and tried Cava out that same day! I got the Harissa spicy chicken as my protein on top of some rice and other toppings! It was really really good! Oh! And those pita chips!? Man! This place deserves more then 5 stars for their food. But sometimes, some of the workers can be iffy. My first experience, the young lady as the preparer and cashier had exceptional customer service. She was even giving me options to try out because I told her it was my first time. But the second experience? Not so much. The girl looked at me like I wasn't talking when I simply said "two bowls please". She stands there just looking at me... then the other one just throwing things on the plate and tossing it to the side like it didn't matter. So my mood was off that whole visit! The only "beef" I have about Cava is that you can't place an order over the phone with them. You have to go through the online ordering system- which is not user-friendly and has no areas to note on how to customize the way you'd like. I.e. I can't ask if I could substitute babaganoush for something else as I'm allergic to eggplant. Otherwise though, food is excellent. Since we can't order the way we'd like online, we have to order in person. They were accommodating with my allergy and let me substitute for it. The ladies were lovely and I couldn't wait to dig into my food once we got home. I hope Cava will improve their online ordering soon. Then we'd eat from here more often. read more

I absolutely love coming to this place when I'm in the mood to eat on the lighter side. There's so many different options and I love how everything is made fresh. You order everything similar to Chipotle, where you could see the ingredients you pick. I usually opt for the Harissa Avocado bowl but you can build your own (which I recommend doing since there's unlimited toppings). Came in for dinner on a Sunday night. We were able to order right away. The menu reminded me of a chipotle-you can order a salad, bowl or pita all customized to your liking. I got a 1/2 & 1/2 bowl which allowed me to pick a grain as well as a salad base. I got chicken as my protein and topped it with all the good stuff like avocado (up charge), feta, tomatoes and cucumbers. I liked the unique touch of hummus and tzatziki add ons as well.
