This place was incredibly fast paced. Although the line was long when I walked in, I got through the line fairly quickly. There're so many options. The portion size is also fairly big. I ordered the half salad half grain bowl with half chicken and half meatball. There was a lot of variety and it's structured like a Chipotle restaurant. Story below: Bought a case of Spindrift from Costco few weeks ago which I happened to bring one can into Cava already open since I was drinking it. As I was standing there to get a refund, the manager asked if I needed anything. I was like "Oh I got charged for this by accident, it's mine it's from Costco" . He said "It's my restaurant, I'm telling you." --- For some additional notes, it's only our 3rd visit here but we have been overcharged the last two visits. It's great to be able to try a good number of dips and sauces that come standard with your meal, but having these sauce based items on the side IS KEY, otherwise you can end up having a very wet rice and salad bowl (much like the first Cava bowl I had). When prepared, you can find yourself with a pretty awesome meal here at Cava! I've been here a few times during the lunch hour. The first few times have been super easy but now the line can get super long. If possible, I would suggest coming outside of the main primetime lunch hour. The build your own bowls have so many options, and the four combinations we tried were all scrumptious. My fave was the spicy lamb meatballs, I paired it with Splendid Greens and black lentils. Added tzatziki, harissa, tomato, cucumber, picked onion, feta, olives, mint and cauliflower quinoa tabbouleh for a bowl that was easily two meals. They were still very confused and still ended up missing a few things. CAVA is expensive fast casual; the food is pretty good (but not great) and definitely not worth it when paired with awful service.
