mouth dROOLING. i know this place is a chain and i've seen it all over in other cities but never got the chance to try it. SO delicious! located next to tommy bahama behind that cool long fountain at legacy west. maybe just a TEENIE bit too salty on all sauces/meats but thats okay LOL they let you sample anything from the bar if you're unfamiliar, but heads up they all taste good together. the saffron rice is light and delicious, and their falafel is lightly crisp but still very soft on the inside. braised lamb was also soft and flavorful, and the chicken tastes like the one from chipotle. very reminiscent of mama pita down the street but i believe with slightly lower prices. workers are super nice and will explain anything. wish this place was closer but that won't stop me from coming back. read more

I've been wanting to check out Cava for years, and it didn't disappoint! The food is flavorful, fresh, delicious, and it comes in super generous portions at incredible prices. My family of four split three bowls, and we still had leftovers! I honestly couldn't tell you what we got in each of the bowls (for the protein options, we went with 2 grilled chicken bowls and 1 braised lamb, and I remember being excited about eggplant dip, roasted red pepper hummus, and the unlimited toppings), but I can tell you that they were all really delicious. Pick-up was super easy, and our order was ready on time. Cava HQ if you're listening... please come to San Francisco! read more

I love the idea of this place. The build-your-own Mediterranean food is genius. And the flavors at this restaurant are honestly delicious. That feta dip! However I have to sadly give some albeit honest, but negative feedback. I ordered a bowl tonight that had raw lentils in it. I chose a grain bowl, so the entire base of this bowl was lentils. Plus, I didn't order protein because I was counting on those lentils for that. But the lentils were legitimately raw and thus inedible. Well, that's not entirely true as I had to gnaw my way through some ad I did my best to pick around them. To add insult to injury the roasted vegetables I had on top were raw too. Raw sweet potatoes and carrots. It was sadly very unpleasant. I know this restaurant is newer, so I hope this kind of thing is just one of the kinks of early business, and that they can get a better process down to prevent this. Lentils are fairly easy to determine to be cooked or not. Raw lentils are very small and hard, but once cooked they get bigger and pretty soft. It should be the kind of thing the staff can learn quickly. I'd like to try this place again, but I'll probably wait a while to go back, unless I start craving the hardy, sandy texture of a raw lentil before I do so. read more

Cava is pretty much an obsession for me. Love building my own bowl (a previous reviewer who compared it to Chipotle's build-your-own concept is spot on), and every single ingredient has always been fresh and on point (and I've gone an embarrassing number of times-- pretty sure my sister is sick of me *always* suggesting Cava for lunch).... A few huge highlights for me are the: - crazy feta (amazing, delicious, & only slightly spicy-- do not be afraid of trying it) - tzatziki (creamy and perfect, just like it should be) - pickled onion (get it!!!) - and the garlic dressing (which I could literally swim in, it is so freaking good) I've only ever done curbside pick up so I can't speak to the ambiance of eating there, but service has been speedy & excellent every time. Love this place! read more

Ryan was such a caring manager. I came at a time when they did not have all my (and my husbands) favorite toppings. They made me feel completely heard and I appreciate the love and care they always put into their wonderful bowls. I would recommend CAVA to anyone and I always appreciate how consistent their ingredients are. Although I had a less than desirable situation with this location being out of my other party's favorite ingredients, I very much appreciate the care that went into my experience and I will definitely be back to support this branch. Kudos again to Ryan for being such a stellar manager and making me feel like a valuable customer. Also- I am vegan / plant-based and this is literally my FAVORITE place (this location is awesome but I love all of their locations- such care!) read more

It was my first time trying Cava. It was a fun place to try. Similar to chipotle in how you order but the menu is very different. The staff was nice and the food was fresh. Daniel gave great customer service and the food there is great. I always recommend to get food from Cava. If you're someone who likes Chipotle. i would choose this over that any day. They have more options, give out more protein, and its high quality. read more

I eat here all the time! Cava has healthy food at a good price point. The location at Legacy West is my favorite because the people that work there are friendly and fun. Reagan, Teanna, Queen, Conner, Oh there are others there that I'm not remembering, that are just as awesome... give it a shot, especially if your military, fire, LEO. Great folks. This bowl was very yummy. It's a fast food model but the ingredients are delicious and pretty healthy. Modeled after Chipotle, Cava tries to be elite and offers pricier meals. I enjoyed my first meal here, aside from seeing one of the employees pick his nose as he was refilling the produce containers. He later disappeared to the back hopefully to wash his hands. #mediterranean #fastfood read more

I love that there's an option for a fast, casual Mediterranean option in the area. Think of this place as the Chipotle of Mediterranean food. Now, I had my reservations at first because I've had this type of cuisine before but I decided to give this place the benefit of the doubt. The food was ordered through delivery and the food came on time and warm. I decided to build my own bowl. My bowl was half grains (white rice) and greens (super greens). You get to choose up to three dips and I chose the hummus, red pepper hummus and the tzatziki. You also have the option to choose a protein, but I chose to do half and half (falafel and grilled chicken). The best part was that you can choose as many toppings as you want. I like that if you're ordering online, you can see the pictures of each item you're adding to the bowl. The only downside may be that there's not a description to certain things, such as Super Greens. I had to google as to what was in the Super Greens. For a little over $10, the portions are big. You will not be disappointed and you don't feel guilty about eating this type of food. It's not too heavy and you don't feel like you're about to grow a food baby. read more

Delish! And so fresh! The spicy lamb meatballs were amazing. Dont forget to order pitas to accompany your dips. The pitas were fried but in an awesome way and perfectly seasoned. I love Mediterranean food, and Cava brings it home and keeps it dear to my palette. I had a braised lamb pita with lentils, rice, greek salsa and greek slaw with hummus/tzatziki/red harissa spreads. It was so delicious! The lamb was so tender, juicy and full of flavor. There is a wide range of other toppings that I look forward to trying on other visits. I also had the Tumeric Tea. Wow! So refreshing with just the right hint of sweetness. Another plus is the customer friendly staff who aims to please. My only complaint is the wait. My husband and I waited 30 minutes in line to order. However, everything went fast once we got up to the front. I will cut this newcomer a LITTLE slack because it seems to be a popular treat in the Legacy West area. Hopefully, they quickly adjust and are able to keep up with demand, especially during lunch. Either way, I WILL BE BACK (in my terminator voice). read more

Very pleased to have come to Cava in Plano. It is a perfect spot for lunch on their patio with the "mini Belagio" water show and music coming on each hour out front. I had the mixed bowl of grains and salad. My wife ordered the Greek Salad. With 2 glasses of water our cost out the door was $21 I loved my mixed bowl as I got to add many great ingredients. It is sort of like ordering at Chipotle, except the options are far greater and the quality of ingredients is excellent. I especially liked the spicy chicken, small black lentils, olives and three of the sauces. I'm a high-volume eater and this bowl completely filled me up. It would be far more than most women could eat in one setting, but for me it was a perfect size. My wife's Greek Salad looked terrific and she thought it tasted great. My grains and lettuce bowl cake with 2 great tasting pieces of pita bread. Not sure if it was a mistake, but my wife only received one piece of Pita Bread with her salad Going out to eat normally I would knock a restaurant a star or 2 for having to wait in line to order as opposed to someone taking our order at the table, but what makes this a great meal is the ability of each person to select their own preferred ingredients out of the vast array of options. The bathroom was clean and the patio is covered for a great outdoor venue. I don't give many "5-stars" but Cava gets this rating for an overall fantastic experience. The value was also fair considering our total cost include tax for just over $21 read more

I normally love Cava, but this location is by far the worst one I have ever been to. If I could I would give negative stars. Management has to be the worst I've ever seen. I've given this location many chances, but this was the last straw. I placed an online order and got there at the pick up time and had to wait another 45 minutes for my order. No one acknowledged me for 30 minutes. Once an employee asked if I needed something I said I was there to pick up a to go order so they finally started making it. They made everything wrong and then when I asked them to remake one order he wanted to argue with me and I had to pull up my order to show him. BEWARE, stear clear of this Cava location!! read more

OMG JUST GO! Fresh, healthy food with awesome flavors (yummy sauce/add-in options), and served fast to boot. Service is "Chipotle style," where you pick out your base, protein, toppings and sauces in line. The place is modern and clean, but it's the fresh, extremely high quality ingredients, and the Mediterranean flavor profiles that you go for. The grilled meatballs and lamb meatballs are to die for. The toppings are delicious and they all blend well together. And the sauces are full-flavored and pure yum. You'll be very glad you went. Highly recommend! P.S. CAVA is a perfect place for a quick, filling lunch with so many fresh ingredients. It is Chipotle style Mediterranean food with great variety in options. As a vegetarian, it was easy to find plenty of veggies and create a bowl with falafel. The falafel was crispy, warm and went wonderfully with all of the fresh vegetables. I like the fact that there are unlimited toppings you can get, and my bowl usually makes me full by just half of it! The sauces have so much flavor.
