The young lady that took my order was very friendly (everyone working was friendly) and patient with me . I couldn't wait to get home to dig in and just like my previous visits, my bowl was amazing! If you haven't tried the garlic sauce, do it next time. As I mentioned, it was slow when I went in, but the food on the line was all hot and fresh. I don't know why I don't come her more often. We stopped in on a Thursday around 3. Ciera immediately welcomed us in. She saw us looking at the menu and asked if we had been there before. She quickly began to explain all the options to us. There was no line, so we took our time deciding between a bowl or pita, as everything sounded so good. We decided on the pitas. The toppings are so fresh, the grilled chicken and lamb meatballs were seasoned really well. The pitas were very soft and fresh. The sauces were really good. Don't forget to order a side of pita chips, ours were warm and tasty. The restaurant's decor was minimalist which I like so the focus remains on the food. They have indoor and outdoor seating which was nice. Really happy they finally opened and staff there are all really helpful, definitely worth checking out! read more

I love Cava in general! However, this particular location seems to have a reputation of extreme delays. This isn't based on my review alone, but from others that have gone here and are tired of it. If you have an order and you planned it for either ASAP- 30 minutes ahead, expect to either wait around for someone to actually say hello/ acknowledge you or for the food to have been made. There's nothing more important for a business than to not have 8 employees standing around not doing anything but have one employee doing work. It would be helpful and especially respectful for someone to actually acknowledge you, especially if you ordered your food to go. The location was EMPTY when I walked in and no one looked in my direction until one person who was breezing by quickly asked if I had anything, told them my name and gave me the wrong order. Not only did I correct them but then was proceeded to be told that there's no one with that name. I repeated my name again. The man that was the only one actually doing anything, was the one that walked up to me, asked my name and had the bowl already ready to go. It seems that there's an overwhelming amount of responsibility for the supervisor at the time, however for a bunch of employees to be standing there and not offering any help, isn't pretty straight up rude and not efficient. And I'm not just speaking on my behalf as the customer that's watching this happen, but the guy who's literally doing a lot. Not on person offered him help the 35 minutes I stood there. Kudos to the Hispanic dude working to-go I assumed, that day. But based on reviews from other folks, this place needs to do a lot better in regards to team work. My go to place for lunch/dinner, I lost most of my weight spending my money here and I have no problem with that. The different varieties that they have and the freshness they offer is chefs kiss. This location Dosent fill your bowl as they should. And the young lady seem like she had an attitude when I ask her for double scoop of toppings. This is closer to my job so I do go here quite often. Oh how I wish there was a Cava in Polk county. The food is so fresh and you can pick what you like. Not limited. The service is great. They will explain everything. The food was mostly good, but there simply wasn't enough of it provided. After looking at the sad bowl they prepared for me and comparing it to other customers around me, I couldn't help but feel a bit ripped off. Their falafel was just OK, and I much preferred the lamb meatballs - although they were burnt. The sauces I tried were all great, but they provide way too much sauce and not nearly enough vegetables. A giant 3 ounces of harissa is just stupid, but why do I only get 3 kalamata olive halves?? That's 1.5 total olives - really?! I would suggest a pita over the rice bowl any day, as ultimately the price of the bowl compared to what you'd get at any other fast casual like Chipotle, Moe's, etc. was about 60% the size and 20-30% more expensive. The pits chips are amazing. The one strawberry juice they make is absolutely delicious. Every single time i stop and get cava i am never disappointed! I always customize my bowl to my liking and the workers aren't stingy with the portions which i personally love lol. I never leave reviews, but my experience the last two times was very poor. The first time I went there I stood in line for 5 minutes because the staff was talking to each other and laughing instead of attending the customers in line. I wanted to give this location another try, so I went in and the other customer behind and I were ignored for a couple of minutes because the staff were in the back talking and laughing with each other again. The other customer and I were the only ones in line. This location has a bunch of untrained staff who do not care about their customers. Also the food is not worth it. Very small portions. I have been excited to try this chain for a long time. I have not heard so much hype around a chain in awhile; stock market, celebrity endorsements, etc. The concept is simple in practice- Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food ordered Chipotle style. I have seen this exact concept done before, with non successful results. The difference between the previous places and Cava though comes with the food and aesthetic of the restaurant. The food is without a doubt, good quality for a fast/casual restaurant. I have limited knowledge of where the food is prepped, but it tasted incredibly fresh. The aesthetic of the restaurant is nothing to write home about, but neither is Chipotle. They are both clean, industrial, and boring. The look works. The similarities between Cava and Chipotle end there however. I frequent Chipotle, but I won't sing it's praises. It's a good, highly popular chain restaurant. There is not much more to say than that. However, one thing I can give them extra credit points for is there employees. Every Chipotle I have been to at least has attentive employees, and most are nice. It's not like they have amazing manners, or say some catchphrase like Chick Fil A, they just do their job in an efficient manner. I can't say this about the Cava employees. When I visited, the restaurant was barely busy- yet it still seemed like the employees were burdened by my appearance. I don't need restaurant employees to be nice to me. I do not need nice words. I understand that sometimes work days are hard, sometimes people have things in their personal life going on, but there is a certain level of attentiveness a customer expects. It is easy to tell when an employee does not want to do their job, does not want to serve you. I ordered the build your own pita, Cava's burrito equivalent. It is a sizable portion (debatably more filling than a Chipotle burrito) and allows for more customization than Chipotle. I cannot complain about this pita, it was good. I however, can complain about how it was made. Excessive hummus was put on this pita, ingredients were thrown around, and ingredients were put before they were asked to be put. I was taking awhile to decide on what toppings from the vegetable section I wanted on my pita, which I understand can be slightly frustrating to an employee. When I'm at work (I do not work in food services) slow customers can irk me- it's just natural. We want to get our jobs done fast. The thing is though, there was no one else besides me and I ordered a build your own pita- the point of it is to build your own. A topping was immediately put on my pita, after which the employee asked me "do you want everything on it?" I hesitated at first to tell her that I didn't want the topping she had already put on, but I ended up doing it. The pita was remade and my purchase complete. Then, throughout the rest of the time at the restaurant I just heard the employees talking loud and boisterous. Which, respectfully, is a strange environment for a customer to be in. I genuinely enjoyed the food I had here, despite the sloppiness. I will not return to this location though. read more
