You can add as many toppings as you would like, with some as additional charges but man oh man if I had one near me I would opt to come super often! It's been a few years since I last visited a Cava restaurant. We decided to try this one nearby. The menu and layout were similar to the ones I've been to before. Customers line up and work with staff to assemble their meals. As usual, I opted to build my own bowl. I started with black lentils as the base, then added a mix of falafel and chicken for protein. I also included sides of red pepper hummus, harissa, and tzatziki. I like to load up on the other free toppings like onions, peppers, spinach, toasted pita chips, tomato, and cucumber. I finished my bowl with harissa dressing. We paid for our meals at the end of the line. The staff who assembled my bowl and handled the payment were great. The air conditioning inside was very cold, so we decided to eat outside. I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl. read more

Omg- so gross. This really makes me rethink coming to this location. My favorite quick service spot, I feel like I just had a chipotle experience which saddens me! I did a pickup order on the app to get the points promotion happening in app and when I got my bowl I noticed a significantly lighter pour than when I have ordered in person. My bowl doesn't even hit close to the top line of the inner bowl. I'm in a rush to get back to work so I can't inquire in person, but this is definitely a letdown. Was super excited to see this Cava pop up so close to Disney. It's been great to see Cava expand to several locations in Orlando. As a Cava regular, this was pretty good. The only issue I found is that I'm pretty sure they were using the generic salad you can find at the grocery store for their Splendid Greens mix. I've had Cava at many locations across three states so I'm pretty confident in that statement. My first time here with my husband ( not a huge salad lover) my brother and SIL. I Love salads and the more choices to add the better. ( I really miss Sweet Tomatoes). In any event this was a pleasant surprise for all of us. The best part is that they can accommodate most dietary needs or likes. My brother are in heaven because they are vegan so they definitely satisfy that diet. As I said my husband came to please me . He wound up getting a loaded garlic chicken pita sandwich. When I say loaded it had the ingredients mentioned on the menu and I added about 5 others he would like just to make sure he felt satisfied. I will tell you he was very satisfied. His only negative was that he would have liked to have more chicken. The nice thing is we can do that the next time we go. The restaurant operates as an assembly line of already decided salad combo or pitas on their menu. Or you can go along the cafeteria style line and create your own with over 30 choices of ingredients and about 8-10 unique dressings. The bowls are large and depending on things you choose are very hearty and satisfying for anyone that loves salads. It's priced by ingredient combinations in each category ie proteins, vegetables, condiments, etc. For example I decided to have 2 grains ( brown rice and black beans with spring salad as my base. Then I picked about 8 topping scoops ( minced eggplant, corn, cucumbers, pickled cabbage, black olives, cherry tomatoes, and a few more). Then I decided to go with 2 proteins falafel and harissa chicken, then I added more salad on the top. I mixed 2 dressings Creamy Tahini and Garlic Caesar . This salad was delicious, huge and filling. My brother and SIL's salads were similar except that they chose falafel as their protein. I originally felt it was expensive until I actually made and had eaten my delicious salad. Also, my husband was happy too. The 2 of us ate for $25 . I probably could have gotten 2 meals out of my salad but I was starving. The restaurant is not huge and has outside seating. As stated earlier you stand in line and go down the line choosing your ingredients and then pay at the end at the register. They have an app to earn rewards which you need to swipe pre payment to get your points. Knowing that I was prepared to do that before I paid the bill. If your with another person and know what they want you might want them to save a table for you inside. We went on a weekday and was surprised at how busy the restaurant was in the shopping center. I would definitely go back and try other combinations. The one thing I did not care for in my salad was the falafel balls extremely gummy and not flavorful enough for my taste. The restaurant seemed to not only be busy but also had a lot of takeout orders too. My one big complaint and pet peeve is not having clean tables when others leave. Yes, the diner throws out their utensils, food etc but the tables were not wiped down after the fact. Especially the outdoor tables to me they were to gross to eat at. Yes, they were busy and I would and could have called it to managers attention if I had to sit outside but luckily they had a clean and ready table inside. That is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 4. They are fairly new so it's probably something that will be hopefully worked out after reviews are written. Also, some people aren't as picky about table top wipe downs as I may be ( even pre-Covid too). Again we will go back and as for me I'll ask for my table wiped down and knowing it's a problem there I will probably have wipes with me when we go back. Again, I'm thinking it's something they are too busy to notice and will get corrected. Just adding it to my review so that you're prepared. I will say that everything and everyone serving and making your meal was very clean and kept the area clean too. It's all open so you can see exactly what's going on and in your dish. Hoping on my next visit to give it a forth star. So if you love salads this is a great place with almost a mix and choices of American, Mediterranean, Asian. I found this place while searching for places to eat in the area and this one came up especially due to the vegetarian options since that's usually my go to. I placed my order online since I didn't have time to dine in. Upon arrival the facility was clean and welcoming and the food was ready without having to wait additional time. My partner got one of the bowls which was filled at a good portion for the price along with my wrap that I ordered. I got the falafel wrap which was ginormous. It was so big I only ate half and saved the other half for the next day. It was difficult to eat however because it was so messy. The next day I ate it with a fork and a knife. I know it's a wrap and not a burrito so I y expect it to have the filling tightly put but it was surely a messy experience but that taste was delicious . Between the sauce and fresh cut veggies, I couldn't ask for more...except a napkin. lol If in the area I would definitely stop in to try this place. First time here and don't think I'll be back. I was very excited to try Cava as I have heard so much about it. I order my food with my friend (seperate orders) and the employee bagged her order then my order up and we paid seperate. My friend and I came seperate as she had work. When I got home (after a 30 minute drive to get there) it was the completely wrong order. They gave me a bowl covered in tomatoes and I can not eat tomatoes. They gave my bowl to my friend. Really disappointing now that I spent $15 on a bowl that I won't be able to eat. Thankfully I'll be able to get my correct bowl tomorrow since she works nights but not sure how good it'll be a day old. this was the second time we attempted to enjoy the great food and hospitality we discovered at the CAVA Millenia Mall location... At this Kissimmee location I don't remember anyone greeted or acknowledged were standing there to order for about 5 min to order our food (we felt it was time to walk out btw) and we weren't being emotional just couldn't believe that a place with such a great reputation could be ran down to the point where everyone there seemed like they didn't want to be there, you felt the energy in the air and why would I want to consume it... all the salads were frozen so burnt from the cold and or old with pink edges - I couldn't believe my eyes...WOW all I kept thinking was if I was the owner of this restaurant I would want to know who is running that business for me. VERY disappointing and the first time the doors were locked from the outside we tried getting someone's attention no one came out we were finally able to enter when others customers exited, same feeling and energy and we just walked out. read more

Very tasteless steak. To add steak is +$3 which is typical. But to add another portion of equal size is an additional +$6. They did ask if I'm ok with the extra change. In which I said yes. ISIAH is a disrespectful person not only should he not work in customer service he should be embarrassed of himself acting like that towards people who are ordering food . It was my first time here at Cava since opening i live around the area . I was only grabbing two bowls ISIAH was shrugging his shoulders , making faces , huffin and puffin . I was more then nice not only did he slam my bowls and walk away and cause a scene , he also made another employee finish my order . NAOMI was more then helpful , she finished my order and apologized for her co workers actions , it's sad and unfortunate that one employee makes everyone else look horrible if it wasn't for NAOMI the two bowls would've been canceled and my money would've went some where else . ISIAH please get a job where you can be miserable and be around miserable people .
