I love tabouli and order it at every Mediterranean restaurant I go to, and this was the worst I ever had. The ingredients might have been off (either the ratio, or maybe something even went bad. It looked normal but tasted terrible). When we asked for cups of water (after spending upwards of $100) we were told they "don't do that" - because obviously they expect you to purchase bottled water. I find this to be unacceptable. Last but not least: we witnessed a cockroach crawling across the floor. One of the little German ones. Although not as scary as their larger, American counterparts, they still carry lots of germs that can make you sick, and when you see one you can assume there are many more close by. Would I be back? Hard pass. I'm sure I can find great hummus and chicken shawarma elsewhere.

We started off with their mixed appetizer platter (can't remember the exact name) which was so worth it for the opportunity to try all of the dips! They are able to modify this platter to make it gluten free, and it turned out so well. The real star of the show was the chicken, which was perfectly seasoned and grilled, I can't get over it. The lentil soup was also good but it didn't come out hot, which was not amazing, so we had to ask for it to be heated. GF people note: the rice contains wheat noodles so it is not GF. The dinner was beautifully plated and flavorful, though the lamb wasn't consistent with the cooking temp I requested. I did appreciate that the environment wasn't too loud and perfect for good conversation. Moreover, I appreciated my experience and do recommend this location (though my preference will remain Winter Park).

We were the ONLY TWO PEOPLE in the restaurant. Should be plenty of time if we know what we want as soon as we sit, right? Wrong. It took most of those 35 minutes just to get the food, which was all appetizers, most of which were cold (as they were supposed to be). How long does it take to take something out of the fridge? And for the warm items, we could hear the microwave in back being used. I know microwaves can be a reality in restaurants, but come on, turn the sound off! We literally had to cram food in our mouths while signing our check and racing to the show. Also, the wine situation was sad. The items we wanted we kept getting informed they were out of. The owner/server was very nice, and you can tell this is a family establishment, but it was a little *too* family, if you know what I mean. I felt like I had dropped in my neighbors and was waiting for them to whip something up for surprise guests. All that being said, the food was good once it arrived, but I'm not sure we will be returning.
