How was this my first time a Cava?? The line moved super fast and the food was all delicious! I got the build your own bowl and loved the opportunity to mix and match what I wanted. The chicken was also cooked very well. The only downside I experienced was that the presentation of the food did not look great and there was a bit too much dressing. My friend who has been to Cava and this location many times before said this was an off day for them. Of course presentation is only an added benefit, but next time I will ask for the dressing on the side so my bowl isn't swimming. Cava is a great option in this area for lunch while shopping. Took a mini road trip to DE and got hungry while shopping. We opted to try somewhere familiar for convenience and speed. There was a little line but it move quickly. The food was being replenished as we ordered so everything was fresh which is awesome and adds to the flavor. I always order a side of pita chips because they are quite literally the star of the show. I would visit this location anytime. Parking was plenty the service was great. They cared about the speed of the line and making sure you have exactly what you wanted. They even ask if you would like extra ingredients. They were not stingy with the portions at all. read more

There's plenty of seating and other shops near this location. I got the Balsamic Date Chicken bowl but replaced it with the lamb brisket and lamb meatballs because it's zabiha/halal. I ended up paying double for extra protein because the server didn't hear me. To be honest, the lamb is way too gamey. The lamb meatballs are medium rare and the lamb brisket is super fatty. I appreciate that the lamb is from New Zealand, thus zabiha/halal but it's gamey and I won't be ordering it again. Although the bowl is nutrient dense, the portions/quantity was small. I honestly feel like Sweet Greens or Mezeh in KOP fills up the bowl more. read more

So when I arrived to Cava, near the Christiana mall, kinda, I went in through the side door. I saw a full view of the restaurant and long line. Usually, when there is a long line in a restaurant, 9 times out of ten, the food is good. I walked back outside and walked around to the front. As I stood in a line that reached out the front door, I noticed that the line was moving swiftly. I couldn't believe my eyes, when I entered through the front door. There were 3 workers in the front. They were accompanied by around 4 in the back. It was about 15 people ahead of me, and before you know it, in about 15 minutes, it was my turn. I been to a lot of Cavas around the country, but these workers were on a whole different level. The gentleman Named Breandre, held down his position as greeter and food server like a true professional. Even though he was super busy, he balanced his time wisely and kept the customers happy and satisfied. I always get the falafel crunch and this location prepared it, just the way that I like it. Actually, the best I've had, so far. The cashier named Will, made sure that my order was perfect. Everyone in the front and back did an amazing job. When the corn ran out, they had a replacement within 1 second. 10 stars! read more

Having visited another Cava location maybe 6 months ago, this more recent visit was a let down. This was my first experience using the app: I created my bowl, added a side pita, opted for utensils and bag and scheduled my pick up time. Because I was in the area I popped in early and noticed my order was ready! It was off putting to see that they leave your bowl on a shelf in an open area.. my pita was not sealed and nothing was in a bag. They leave the bags and utensils out on their own station so I just grabbed it myself and left. The food itself was fresh. The bowl however was skimpy, barely any rice and oddly enough a large amount of kalamata olives lol. My first experience with Cava my bowl was plentiful so I wonder about quality control. Not sure if I would've gotten more food if I dined in but that should be universal across the board. For the cost of things, I was left wanting more of a better value. read more

Yes, it's a chain, but I can't help myself getting the Greens + Grains bowl. Refreshing & satisfying. Especially during the hot summer. I've been swaying more towards this on any given day over Chipotle. Even got down to the right customization to my liking that it gets repetitive. To the point that I can't seem to switch it up because it's that good! Portions seem small, but very fulfilling. Never had any issues with service.
