make ur own Greens + Grains Bowl

Really enjoyed CAVA Baybrook so I wanted the bowl again and went to this location due to having no idea where to park at the med center one. The bowl was pretty much the same except the falafel was not. Nor sure, but likely that time of preparation matters cuz I went at store opening at Baybrook and here after 8pm. Also the ice here are the big ice cubes, not pellets. Waited in line here for a bit too and line stayed busy. Also note that amount of dressing differs too between the squeeze of a man hand vs a woman hand. Ate at plentiful outside seating.

Great service and portions! Staff was kind and helpful and again made an excellent bowl! The ambiance is quick and easy and pretty clean. Loved the freshness of my bowl

This location never disappoints. The food is always really good, the portion sizes are appropriate and the people are always very nice. I always get the combination of lamb and chicken which is always really good here. The location is right off of Washington Avenue which makes it a super busy spot, so be prepared to wait. I really like the vibes, very large but still the small restaurant style feel. From now on this will definitely be my go to location.

If you like Chipotle and want something different yet fresh, savory and Mediterranean, stop on by. Dropped by during the week for friend's lunch and got there in time to avoid the rush. Located on a corner of shopping strip on Washington, parking is shared with other businesses. Once inside, it's simple and clean. Plenty of seating available, unless you come during the week for lunch, it gets busy. Service was quick and friendly. Opted for the build my own, with garlicky chicken shawarma bowl and was not disappointed. Chicken was well seasoned and tender. Like Chipotle, I added the additional toppings to my liking and taste. Highly recommend the red pepper hummus. Or you can follow their pre-curated bowls and modify from there. Thanked my friend for recommending we lunch here and look forward to returning. Enjoyed every savory bite.

Just pulled a grasshopper out of my cava bowl, this is the most disgusting thing I have ever encountered from a restaurant in my life...

Mediterranean chipotle is a great description of this place. A great spot to build your own / mix and match greens and protein with an assortment of toppings. So you could make your bowl as healthy or as flavorful as you can. I usually go with a custom bowl of greens/rice and combo meats (tried out the lamb/steak combo this time around) It's a good price point for $15 which is very filling and flavorful. Good quality/portion balance Location is fairly convenient, has its own parking lot and also within walking distance from a few other stables of Washington, service is fairly efficient. Overall I think it's a solid fast-casual spot with quality ingredients. Very customizable and can meet your dietary restrictions. Definitely be back again soon.

Love that you can order two proteins in a bowl. Food was fresh and delicious. Not sure why some people get 2 pitas and others get 1, but pita was ok. Lentil option instead of rice was great! Server gave me suggestions for the sauces which were spot on: skhug and garlic combo! When I got my drink and went to find a table, both spaces could have used cleaning. Most tables had remnants from previous patrons and we never saw someone cleaning the tables.

Service is terrible in this place. Other cava's they struggle to close the lid of my food but this one they serve close to nothing, they even shake the spoon of the rice before they serve it. Look at the pictures! Thats a shame! I spent at least $24 every time I go and pay 3 for half an avocado. Im pretty sure you can give full 3 spoons of rice and steak

I wish they had a CAVA in MN!! My new obsession... When I visited Houston, I got this four times because I liked it so much. It is so simple, but everything tastes so good. Everytime I go there is usually a line but it goes by fast. It is a Mediterranean fast restaurant and you can't go wrong with a good Mediterranean bowl. There is plenty of seating and lots of parking! The staff and service is great! You can add pita bread but be sure to add pita chips and garlic sauce (there's plenty of sauces to choose from). That's what brings everything in together... I'm waiting for the day they open one in MN so, I don't have to travel to get this all the time.

Shannon C.

Loving this cava! Always fresh and always delicious. They have the best customer service and it's always clean. Always go for the Greek salad bowl!

I can absolutely see why they're ranked among the top 10 pizzas in Texas. I know pepperoni pizza is about as basic as it gets, but when it's done right, it's hard to beat. The dough is crispy on the outside while still being soft and chewy on the inside, and I think that's what really makes their pizza stand out. I genuinely have no notes. We also ordered the Nutella and custard dessert pizza, which was fantastic. It was the perfect sweet treat to end the meal, and the dough was just as good on the dessert pizza as it was on the savory one. My only complaint is that the kitchen closes at 10 PM. Honestly, pizza this good should be available a little later! Overall, Gypsy Poet absolutely lives up to the hype. Great pizza, great dough, and a dessert pizza worth saving room for. I ordered the Chimichurri Steak sandwich, which was okay but nothing super memorable in my opinion. My parents ordered the Seasonal GOAT with Summer Peaches salad, which was also just okay. My sister, however, ordered the Lemon Chicken and Farro soup, which was actually pretty yummy and is something I would definitely order for myself. In terms of parking, there's plenty of spots available throughout the MKT area, but you may need to park farther away to snag a spot. For the appetizer, we ordered the Crispy Fried Oysters & Brussels, and I got the redfish for my entrée. The Brussels sprouts were flash-fried perfectly, and I loved the sweetness of the chili honey glaze. The oysters had a nice crispy coating, but I found them to be a little bland. The redfish, though, was absolutely the star of the meal. I cleaned my plate. It was served with Hoppin' John and a lemon butter sauce. Delicious authentic Lebanese food, Genuine hospitality, great ambiance…read more Abdallah's Lebanese Caffe delivers one of the most authentic and memorable Lebanese dining experiences in Houston. The kitchen excels from the very first course: the kibbe is exceptional, perfectly balanced, delicately textured, and arguably the finest I've ever had. The standout, however, is the lamb chops, prepared so beautifully that even my wife, who rarely enjoys lamb, was genuinely impressed. Their commitment to authenticity is evident in every dish, thanks to olive oil and spices imported directly from southern Lebanon. The atmosphere is equally inviting. As a family‑owned establishment, Abdallah's shines through the warm presence of Susan and Fares, who ensure every guest feels welcomed and cared for. We were visiting from Dallas and stopped for lunch, but the breakfast menu alone is reason enough for a return trip. I love high quality ingredients and feel like they go a long way. But even more I feel like knowing what to do with ingredients go even further. I hate buying high quality ingredients meals where the chef did little to enhance the food. Not at all the case here. EVERY dish you order while have the chef's handprint on it and I F'n LOVE IT!! I've enjoyed ChopnBlok since I first tried it at POST Houston but I'll leave this review to focus on the Montrose location. Now come on this review journey with me! I had been meaning to come here for a minute but had never gotten around to it and the first time I did was when a friend told me about "Parlay on the Blok", which is a block party series they do and this one they had collabed with The Breakfast Klub!!! So combining with one of the places that is already one of my top spots in the city plus good vibes I had to pull up. It was popping there so was a thing to get a spot and get that order in but I'm glad I did. Beyond the fact that it was a good vibe for the culture and the community out there. The food hit! We got there late for the block party so some items had ran out and honestly it was for the best because I would've ended up buying some of everything they were offering. I got the Wings & Rice and the Malt Short Ribs and Grits. The first was The Breakfast Klub's wings with Afro brunch fried rice. The second came with a dòdò pepper relish with a malt demi-glaze. Boy oh boy! Already knew the wings was going to hit and the fried rice paired really well with it. The short rib was so damn tender and the relish and glaze just....just give me some more! Both of them are dishes I would order again if they were on a constant menu. As someone who doesn't eat pork, I love that this is a spot that I can count on putting out delicious food packed with flavor and know they have not a lick of pork on the menu. Now for their regular menu items lol. I was in the area so I popped in for their happy hour and of course they delivered. Love that they have the community tables, which allows for people to get a table as a walk up but not at the bar. It also creates a special space to connect with strangers, as you can be sat across the table from someone you've never met as you both enjoy deliciousness. If you haven't noticed yet I love this place and will basically only have good things to say, and it all comes from the most honest space. Happy hour offers some of their main dishes just in smaller portions. I started off with the Suya and Cheese patties and I honestly have a hard time imagining me coming here and not ordering these. From the flaky breading to the meat and cheese inside it does everything it's supposed to. I also got the Golden bowl and every bit of it was delicious. You can give me a side of the Jollof Jambalaya everyday and I'd be good. I'm usually not for alcohol with my food but was in the mood for a cocktail and I wasn't sure on the Irie Punch and my waitress brought me and shot of Irie Punch that I quickly ordered after tasting. The Deviled Scotch Egg is suck your teeth and fingers good. It's so damn good that I literally had some of the greens they sit on and thought it was the egg filling on it just to realize it was the dressing they had on it. I was sucking the damn mini salad off my fingers it was so good. For the greens and dressings, which are just garnish for the egg, to be that good is truly ridiculous. I got a side of the Waakye Fried Rice not realizing it is a black rice dish, but even that was still good. Chef Ope Amosu does not miss with a single dish served. They have been Michelin recognized and I honestly think it is beyond well deserved. Not quit reading my review and figure out why I love this place for yourself.
