I know that the service industry is strained nowadays, but this place is ridiculous. CAVA is in our neighborhood and we like the food, so we've tried delivery, curbside and ordering inside (to go). It's miserably slow, they're often out of something, and I'm pretty sure that a manager is never there. Every time I've been in, the place is completely run by 2-5 teenagers. A few of them are sweet and hardworking, but several of them are terrible employees - ignoring customers, chatting with one another instead of working, and just generally not giving a rip about anything. Tani who runs this location is a GM above all GM's I was feeding a hungry film crew this weekend and it was very busy when I came in with my huge order. She personally made the entire order in record time, labeled everyone's special order and helped me out to my truck. I ordered the Market Spice and they forgot the broccoli which i had to go back and ask for. Staff were unfriendly with "I don't give a damn" attitudes - apparently I inconvenienced them by coming in the door. And small portions for the cost. Food was mediocre so I will not be coming back. read more

I'm kind of surprised to see so many negative reviews about the service here. Granted we came when things were pretty dead on a Saturday night but I thought staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. This place is structured as a giant assembly line, and they have some unique options for protein (harissa chicken, lamb meatballs), some tasty vegetables and sauces. It's nice that nearly all the toppings are unlimited, with only a few adding extra cost. I thought the bowl was pretty tasty (not mind blowing, but good), and it feels slightly healthier than usual takeout which is nice. Expect to pay about $15 for a meal. read more

The service here is pretty baffling... it's lunch rush and there is one person working. People are legit leaving cause of how slow it is. I understand it's tough for that one staff member to do absolutely EVERYTHING down the line but I see other team members just kind of twiddling their thumbs around the restaurant not stepping in to help. I go to the cava in highlands often and it's clean, people respond to you immediately and they are friendly this place is a crap hole it's disgusting. I'm not sure what the heck happened but this part of the chain is the holy grail of not what to be. It was disgusting in there and I waited on line first in line for a while with 45 minutes until they close no one would acknowledge me. It was awkward and weird on this cava and I highly suggest staying away. read more

It has potential but the people who work here have no idea what they are doing. A bit chaotic to say the least and slow. It was not clean as well, workers walking around with masks falling off and one worker wiping his nose while he worked. I got the lamb pita wrap and the lamb meatball was not cooked well. The meat was raw on the inside. It's a great concept and lots of options but I may have to give it some time for them to work out their issues before even thinking of going back. read more

I'll give this place some excuse since they are new. But they need to work out their food assembly issues. There's no reason to require 15-20 minutes wait time in this food assembly line business if there are only four customers ahead of you. See how chipotle, Qdoba or Garbonzo's executes. Recommendation: have each worker stay in their position and not follow the customer through each station. Have a dedicated cashier. It would also help if the menus hanging above the counters displayed what the actual options are instead of only "select protein". This way customers can be more prepared to order when it's their turn instead of deciding what they want when it's their turn. read more

For $25 I got a soggy "gyro" which had nothing to do with authentic gyro meat. True all Uber eats Grubhub etc delivery blows in that is arrives cold, anonymous and seems to be here about an hour after ordering - but for price and food quality don't bother. Warning friends, don't order online! We sure did and went home to realize it was missing 90% of our order. When we called to tell them, Sam said they were "out" (tzatziki, pita, protein... ya know, the items that make up the entire Cava menu) and when we asked why we weren't informed beforehand, he said "do you think we have time to call each person to tell them we are out of what they ordered?" Be warned that if you need a refund they will make it incredibly difficult. This location lied to us about refunding our money. The online contact form does not get a response from anyone. Contacting them on Facebook has done no good. I have repeatedly asked for a refund on our order and have gotten nowhere. The food is good but the customer service is appalling. Update: It took a week of emails, phone calls, and social media shaming to get them to refund an order. They even finally did the refund but still didn't bother to communicate or respond in any way. Heaven help anyone else if they need a refund. Good luck. read more

Won't be returning to this location. We ordered online. They got both of our orders wrong, they were out of half the ingredients, the ingredients we did receive were poor quality. I spoke to Natalie about the order twice to confirm certain ingredients were out of stock and they still got the orders wrong. Very disappointed. read more

Do not Door Dash from this location. They didn't even bother to staple the bag closed. My food was thrown everywhere. They gave me burnt pita chips, rock solid.. and left out ingredients for my bowl. Obvious the staff are lacking proper training and supervision. read more
