I was so excited to find out that CAVA was coming to Legacy Place. There is a Boston location, but I absolutely love the stores and aesthetic at Legacy. I went around 9pm on Wednesday night and the staff was SO friendly (even though it was later in the day) - I studied the menu before I got there so I had an idea of what I wanted, but the man that helped me was educating me on all the different toppings I can get, he was such a nice man! I ordered half romaine, half white basmati rice, half beef meatballs, half chicken, hummus, tzaziki, crazy feta, pickled onions, cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, cauliflower quinoa tabouleh and pickled banana peppers with a side of the yogurt dressing. OMG! Heaven in my mouth I kid you not. I also ordered a cucumber dpindrift. With the bowl and drink it came to $12!!! Such a great price for a healthy hearty meal. In two words, I would describe Cava as a Mediterranean Chipotle. It was my first time going so I was not sure how it worked or what to get but Dwayne was super helpful in the process. He let my friend and I try the meats and toppings to ensure we built a bowl that would completely satisfy our taste buds. My bowl was delicious! There were so many flavors packed into one meal and everything tasted fresh. The drinks were also good--they have a lot of fresh juices to choose from. I have been a fan of Cava since day one until today when I went through the line while getting my usual and noticed that the portion size barely filled half the bowl. The base ingredient (rice) was barely enough to fill a Dixie cup. I know prices have increased for all things and businesses need to focus on costs. Here is me trying to helpful, maybe you should use smaller bowls if you are only going to fill it less than half way. This will probably save you money for the cost of the bowls and transportation costs. Also less sales with a higher profit isn't what I think Cava should be focusing on but hey good luck with that business model. A lost customer. read more

I've had several good experiences in the past here, but tonight was one of the worst consumer experiences in memory. Unkempt server identified himself as "Victor Santos" and the "manager". I did not receive my online order at all, and did not get the requested refund tonight. I'll have to follow later. Victor served up lies instead of food or even a pleasant attitude. Obviously, this doesn't happen to every customer here, but if "Victor" served up a horrid experience tonight, he could do it again if and when you visit. (Stores can have a professional culture, or an unprofessional culture, and as long as this location allows behavior like this from "Victor" don't be surprised if he's not the only one who feels it's OK to be unprofessional.) read more

Not one to write reviews but this warrants a mention. This is our 3rd or 4th visit here. Every experience has been the same. My daughter has severe food allergies. As soon as we mentioned this, the manager Dre was immediately called upon and what an experience! Extremely informative and knew exactly what we should or shouldn't order. He and the rest of the crew made her feel safe and appreciated for coming to this establishment. I must also mention that once the rush ended, the crew spent down time cleaning, sweeping and prepping for the next wave of customers, this is often not the norm at other restaurants of the like. They are in the same mall as B Good and Sweetgreen. I will come here every single time. It is not that the others are bad. It is simply that this one is better. The business model is the same. Wait in line, order at the counter while items are put into your bowl or sandwich, pay at the end, and find a chair. I had a bowl with both greens and grain (Jasmine rice). On top of that, I had a really nice shredded lamb. It had a little spice, but not too hot. The flavor was really nice and different. Then, there were scoops of veggies and toppings like hummos and an eggplant (like baba ganoush). I especially enjoyed the fresh tomato, cucumber with mint topping. Really great and fresh. read more

I've enjoyed CAVA the last several times I've ordered, my family as well. My latest order was through the app which I picked up and I was able to watch the employee put it together since I arrived 5 minutes early. Not only did she miss several ingredients, but she also left out an entire meal. She tried to give me another persons order when I mentioned that I was missing a bowl. When I mentioned this to her she rolled her eyes annoyed and slowly put the missing meal together. I brought these meals back to the family, they are by far the worst CAVA bowls we've ever experienced. I tried calling the location so they could address that employee directly, but zero luck getting through to a human. Writing a review is the only feedback available, now the entire store will suffer the negative feedback. Our family will not be going back. read more

Love this place for a quick healthy meal. Sweet green used to be my go to for this until Cava opened up. Cava gives more food for your money in my opinion, and I love the mediterranean aspect. Ask for the harissa if you are a fan of spice. The green harissa dressing is good as well. I usually mix the green harissa dressing with the tahini and siracha greek. 4 stars because I think they can be a little more generous with the protein. They only gave me two small pieces of falafel the last time I went. I will try the Cava in Fenway next time to see if they are more generous! There is a standard of excellence that is rarely met is the restaurant industry, mostly due to human error, fatigue, and what have you, it's a tough bar to reach. CAVA Legacy Place Dedham far exceeds and surpasses that bar and sets the pinnacle so high that I fear surrounding restaurants may need to seek advice from this establishment on how to execute effective customer service . Omg sooooo good! I traveled into Boston for an appointment and was looking for a quick & healthy dinner. This fit the bill! I ordered a greens and grain bowl online-- I got super greens and brown rice with spicy lamb meatballs, red pepper hummus and crazy feta & harissa (omg so spicy lol) with a bunch of other toppings and omg sooo good. I got one for my fiancé as well and he loved it as well. Very reasonably priced, ordered online and picked up about 15 min later and they brought it right out to the car. Fabulous. I like this place but I am not going to order from here anymore. I usually order online and ask my husband to pick it up for me. He doesn't check the order and just picks up the bag. This is the second time in a row they did not put in pita when I specifically asked for it. I can't drive all the way back 20 min just to get pita. Once they opened, we were hooked. Used to do Sweetgreen every week but now do Cava twice a week. The chicken is so good and with no added salt. Portions are amazing, restaurant is super clean but the best thing is their customer service--Whitney is so cheerful and makes amazing bowls. I will come back over and over as long as she's there. We have been to Fenway Cava plenty of times and loved it so we took the trip to Cava Dedham at 7:45 on a Sunday night while the food tastes incredible, one star had to be taken away because they were out of olives, sumac, tzatziki, and hummus. I was excited to try Cava when I read the menu and the reviews. The service was decent, and the food seemed fresh. Lots of choices. But within a few hours of eating there, I got really sick with symptoms of food poisoning. I hope this review will be posted because if there are others, the restaurant needs to know. As for their offerings, if you're looking for Middle Eastern type foods, this is not the place for you. They do have several of the same offerings (hummus, tahini, pita, chopped salad, eggplant salad, falafel, etc.) but they manner in which they're served is not Middle Eastern. Is it Greek? Possibly, I don't know what that means so I can't say. The lamb-meat balls are tasty, but on this day, I found them dry. Several reviews have said that Cava is the Chipotle of Greek food. Fantastic is how I'd sum this place up. Great food, very fair prices and they have the speed of service down pact. Just as delicious as your local "Mom and pop" spot. 12/10 experience! The food was phenomenal, however, the customer service is what blew me away and will have me traveling out of my way to get again. Edwin, the gentleman who rang me out, went above and beyond to make my experience memorable, joyful, and his attention to detail and kindness will keep me coming back as a repeat customer when I truly only intended to give the trendy food place a try since I was running a local errand. While Edwin was taking care of something for a customer ahead of me, he swiftly and promptly acknowledged me with a smile and "how are you?" whilst taking care of whatever request the customer in front of me had made. It was small but intentional and definitely made me feel welcome. He then breezed back and handed me and the other woman a warm pita sample with a contagious smile. I am serious when I say it made my day! It was such a kind gesture and perfect as I headed out into the cold with my order. Then, when I mentioned it was my birthday tomorrow, he once again dazzled me with a cup and said "happy birthday :)" and it made my WEEK! I called my sister right after to share of the good fortune from my small and seemingly inconsequential trip to grab a quick dinner. Honestly, he has no idea how big of an impact he's made. I have been a little sad leading up to my birthday and this was just the small act of random kindness that turned it around and has me looking forward to the morning. I'm loving all of the healthy food spots in Legacy Place. I have been eyeing CAVA since last week and I'm glad that I gave it a try. The food was very fresh, every topping I added to my bowl was delicious. I'm a fan of spicy foods so the girl who made my bowl let me sample some of her favorites and she was right on point. I will definitely be back in for more. It was clean, nicely setup and the customer service I received was excellent. I deducted one star because I didn't really enjoy the juice options, they all tasted a little watered down. Other than that...I loved it! read more

OMG! MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE! I checked out Cava because one of my friends mentioned it to me to go try it, so I did. And, boy was I blown away! From the service, to the online ordering, to when I got home and couldn't wait to sink my teeth into this glorious bowl of goodness. I don't actually remember what I ordered, but all I know is I was super excited about the options so I basically ordered almost everything they had and then some toppings, and then some dressings. So, when I went to go pick it up, I asked the associate, "so, this is my first time here and I just picked about everything on the menu and just threw it into a bowl, do you think it will taste good.?" He replied back, "Yes, you are going to love it." And, boy oh boy, did I love it! So much so, that I went back the next day. They have locations in Dedham and Hingham, which is not far from me at all, but still 15 minutes, which is well worth it. Because Cava is my new lunch, dinner, breakfast (well maybe not breakfast yet) but give it up for this newly amazing and creative company to come into the hands of hungry and healthy Americans!
