I would give 10 stars if I could. We were at the hospital visiting family member in ICU. We placed an order that was delivered incorrectly. I called back but it was too late to have it redone. Felicia was very apologetic & said she would leave a message for the GM, Kristen. I honestly didn't think she would since that's the way customer svc is these days. However, when I called back the next day, not only was Kristen aware, but she again was very apologetic. She remade our order, and even through in some of the "spicy" pita and drinks. They both went above & beyond which made a very difficult time a little easier. Thank you both! Cava is very lucky to have you both on the team! This was my first time visiting a Cava. I've heard a lot of great things but I've only frequented Kairos. They had a similar set up but different options as far as sauces and toppings. It wasn't busy so the service was quick. I did enjoy my bowl for what it was. They didn't have certain things that I was hoping for but it did taste fresh overall. It was more expensive as well and I'm not sure I can pay $17 every time for something like this. I can see why people enjoy coming here but for now I think I will stick with Kairos. read more

Cava is my favorite fast casual bowl chain. I normally go to the Mt. Pleasant location - this was my first time at this location. At 6:30 pm on a Wednesday, with only a few patrons in the store, they were low or out of almost everything. From the rice, greens, proteins, toppings, sauces and even drinks - there were many options I was not able to order. The kitchen & the seating area could have all used a cleaning. I hate to leave a bad review, but this location is an absolute nightmare that it deserves one, along with all the others. They are constantly out of toppings, SLOW, and have poor customer service. It sucks that this is the only location on this side. I keep giving them another chance because I love the food, but they never do better. They're either out of 5 different toppings, you're waiting 30 minutes with only 4-5 people in front of you, or you're standing there waiting for your pick up order, while they make several other pick up orders for customers who are not even in the building!! or they're forgetting to give you what you asked and paid for. I've held off writing this review for several months, hoping this location would find its footing -- but unfortunately, it's clear that the issues here stem from poor ownership and a lack of real investment in the team and operations. I travel often and visit multiple CAVA locations, and the experience here is consistently the worst by far. Every time I stop in, they're severely short-staffed, overwhelmed, and out of multiple core ingredients. The store is visibly messy, chaotic, and clearly under-resourced -- and it's not a one-time fluke. This has been the norm, not the exception, since they opened. It honestly feels like corners are being cut at every turn: understaffed shifts, visibly stressed employees trying to hold things together, and no sense of urgency or accountability from management. It's frustrating as a customer, but also really unfortunate for the team members who are clearly set up to fail by the lack of support and leadership. CAVA usually stands out for quality and consistency -- this location is the exact opposite. I hope corporate steps in to address what's clearly a mismanaged store, because right now, it's doing a disservice to the CAVA brand and to its own staff. read more

This is the third time I've been and the fryer is down or they're out of falafel....it's falafel!! Hello?! Pita was so sloppy you just had to give up and eat with a fork. Food tasted pretty good. The workers were give or take. Call it 50/50. No one was rude but they certainly didn't want to be there. I would eat it again but would just have to prepare myself. There's a sign that says if you show them your 5 star google review you get free pita chips. CAVA never misses. The vibes are always immaculate -- fresh ingredients, fast service, and flavors that actually slap. I really, really hope to change this review to five stars. I've been there twice. The food is great. Unlike many other reviews, I did not think the staff was distracted or inattentive; I think they were doing their best. The issue is that the majority of normal proteins aren't readily available. From my experience (and seemingly, the majority of online reviews), it's always "hold on, we're making more." I'm not talking weird, niche meatless proteins, but their core offerings - chicken, steak, etc. The vibe I get is that they're intentionally trying to make them in small, fresh batches or something. But the problem is that when you're in a group, if three of the five orders have to wait, then those well-meaning intentions went right out the door. I'm not in food and bev, but, like, couldn't you just cook a metric load of proteins for busy time periods and just be ready to go? Who knows? I've been to much busier CAVAs in larger cities and they do not have this issue; it's quick and hot every time. That gives me hope that our location will get better over time as well. I truly hope they're able to fix this issue because I want them to stay in the neighborhood. But, if they can't, I'm fearful they'll go the way of their sister chain that opened in the same shopping center years before. Please CAVA, step it up! As an example, the hummus and feta were scooped onto the pita and instead of spreading it around with a knife she just kind of smashed the pita together which mixed it up haphazardly.
