The staff are…read morealways the best && I love sitting at the oyster bar and watching the guys chuck all the oysters while we're chatting and sipping champagne. The lobster rolls is delicious, the fires yummy, the seafood exceptional. Everything is fresh and you do not leave hungry. Inside is traditional coastal flare with beautiful tiles and decorations. There is a pay to park right behind the restaurant and usually where we park when coming here. We just love coming here!

Asked the bartender what would be good and he suggested the Creole shrimp. That sounded good and I've learned that you generally can't go wrong going with bartenders' recommendations. Anyway, they came out and they were WAY overcooked. They were like rubber and the seasoning was NOT on point. Honestly, I make Creole / bbq shrimp at home and they're always MUCH better than what I got at The Darling. The service (with the exception of the lousy recommendation) was decent enough. If I ever go back, I'll probably stick with oysters on the half shell. (Sorry no pic. I actually took one that day, but subsequently deleted it because it was so bad.)

First time to Charleston and so glad we made it into town before heading to Kiawah. The area is…read morefull of amazing history and buildings with so many stories to tell. We were greeted by a kind hostess before entering the restaurant. We quickly had a table available and were able to enjoy the fun atmosphere. There's an oyster location map painted on the brick wall helping identify where they come from. We started with three small plates including the oven roasted oysters, crude plate (shrimp and scallops) and the tuna tataki. All were outstanding but the oysters were a table favorite. For a main dish I chose the oyster po boy which was on a toasted roll and some spicy sauce. It was outstanding. The margarita was a perfect addition to the meal. I highly recommend grabbing a slice of Charleston right here at 167 Raw if you are in town.

The interior is nautical, spacious, and provided good mood lighting. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and attentive throughout the meal. Their daily specials are written on boards on the wall. I was able to try the hamachi crudo and halibut ceviche. The ceviche was refreshing, citrusy and the chips were phenomenal. For entrees, I tried the famous tuna burger which lived up to the hype. The two showstoppers had to be the scallops and romesco potatoes (side dish). I'll definitely be back!

Oh. My. Goodness…read more Marbled and Fin has secured a spot as one of my top CHS restaurants! A friend and I decided to treat ourselves to a girls dinner since she's out of state. Reservations were at 515 and we arrived about a half hour early. The hostess was an absolute doll. So sweet, personable, and helpful. She let us know they would seat us closer to our designated time but to help ourselves to a seat at the bar. Started with delicious cocktails with fun innuendos. Very strong. Lovely. The hostess came back later and escorted us to our seats - and the fun dinner service began. You receive a complimentary welcome cocktail table side - tonight was a peach gimlet. No notes! We decided to try a little of everything (thank you to our amazing waiter- he let us know serving sizes and suggesting splitting some appetizers). We had the scallops, Caesar and milk bread. I don't think there was a single morsel left on those plates. For dinner we had the wet aged ribeye with the bone marrow & salmon. Sides: steak fries, lobster Mac and cheese, creamed spinach, and asparagus. The steak fries were such a stand out. Wow. never would have thought but incredible! Dessert had to be the affogato & crème brulee. Everything was Devine. The restaurant is bright and airy and incredibly beautiful. We sat at the bar booths and there was a little blonde girl who was so on top of refilling our water that it became comical. She was such a doll! Cannot say enough about her Incredible restaurant- impeccable service. Needs to be on any CHS list!

I paired it with slaw and a roasted vegetable medley (extra roasted), which was phenomenal. The next day at lunch, I ordered the Greggah--their lobster roll. Perfectly seasoned cold lobster meat piled into a top-split, buttery roll, finished with a twangy mustard sauce that adds just the right kick, and served with drawn butter. On the side were roasted vegetables (excellent again) and slaw that was crunchy, creamy, and unmistakably Lowcountry in style. I also added the made-in-house, from-scratch crab balls appetizer. Perfection on a plate. Since I was in town working, I returned the following day for lunch and splurged a bit. It was Clam Day Wednesday. I had a dozen steamed clams, a half-pound of steamed shrimp, and a half-dozen Parmesan-style char-grilled oysters on the half shell. The clams were absolutely perfect--sweet, tender, juicy, and ready to be plucked from the shell. The oysters were delicate morsels of pure deliciousness. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, ideal with cocktail sauce. I left extremely satisfied. The restaurant sits on the corner of a shopping center with plenty of parking out front. Inside, you're likely greeted right away. There are tables, booths, and a full bar stocked with all the libations you could want. Be sure to check the chalkboard for daily specials and the current oyster selections. They brew their own tea--no mix, no concentrate. The staff is friendly and attentive.
