I'm generously giving Food Box 2 stars…read more I have to give it to Food Box- they made the trek out to Bees Ferry Rd, which is pretty rare for a food truck (most seem to cancel at the last minute). When I saw the truck of the week was Food Box, I made a point to go (especially after seeing their menu on Facebook). I hung out a bit better placing my order, as the food truck was still setting up and not ready to cook yet. I ordered a a black bean burger ($6) for myself and a schnitzel sandwich with fries ($10) for my husband. I felt like was a fair price. Only a few other people were around, so I figured it wouldn't be long for my food. 7-8 minutes after ordering, the staff came to me and said they forgot to bring the black bean burgers on the truck, so he couldn't make my order. All of the other items were burgers or pork. I'd already placed my husband's order and didn't want him to not have food, so I waited around for his and just left hungry. At least the staff refunded me my money for the black bean burger they didn't have. I really hate leaving negative reviews, but I waited 15 minutes on a menu item that they didn't have. I do hope I can give them a second chance and update this review.

Tonight I had the honey chicken, the crispy texture was perfect with the honey flavor. They were so good! I thought they would be small servings, but these were nice size pieces of boneless chicken on a soft bun (think King's Hawaiian). For $9 we had a delicious chicken slammie with fries. The fries were delicious too, thick perfectly fried, and salted, boy these went well with out beer. So glad we the Food Box was here, and we look forward to checking out more items when we find them around town.

They served up an amazing pizza. I ordered the pesto pizza. Piping hot. Perfectly soft-baked thin crust. pesto sauce, cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. It was drizzled with some really good olive oil stuff (idk technical terms - I just know delicioso). I was lapping it up Yelp fam, like my dog at the hose in August. Anyway, this was my first visit/pie, so I can't wait to get back and try the rest. GO EAT DAMIANO'S - regardless what these DAM reviews say haha!

We have gone during their Paella Sunday & Oyster Roast events and spent beautiful late afternoons outside with friends. They offer a great variety of wine to pair with the food. We got to experience a few different wine tastings. These might have moved offside with their second location but were fun and educational. And promptly forgot about it. Today I am at Lowtide with the actual food truck. We got a lot of things on the menu. The oyster sandwhich was the winner- one of the best fried oysters in town! We also had mahi sandwhich, slaw, crab rice, shrimp sandwich, and mahi sandwich). They opened in the rain.

I enjoyed the wrap, but the pimento cheese was a failure for me. I love pimento cheese, but this one was just so soupy in texture and really did not have any feta flavor to it, but it definitely had pimento flavor. Also, we got the medium size and were only given a couple of pita bread slices, so they do not have amount of pita to match even close the amount of pimento cheese. I would come back here if in the area as they offer some good options.
