As a big time birria fan, Poseidon's has been on my list to try. I always thought they were in the parking lot of Northwoods Mall, but they are located in that Walmart parking lot on Rivers across the street. Although they are a food truck, they post up in the same place daily. They have an extensive menu, but there was no way I wasn't leaving without birria. They've embraced the birria-fever and now offer other items like mini-tacos, egg rolls, chicken birria, and even ramen. I went with the birria deluxe which gives you two birria tacos, a mini birria quesadilla, a birria burrito, and a street corn. With Mexican food I always want a little bit of everything so this was perfect for me. I opted to have the quesadilla done with the chicken so I could have some variety. Everything was so good, but the tacos still reign supreme. I would definitely get that mix again and I loved having the street corn too. It was huge so I save a little for round two. Next time I'll probably try the egg rolls because I haven't had those yet. Poseidon's ranks in my top three birria around Charleston so I will be back for sure.

Got the birria sampler which was more than enough for me. I didn't finish it. The birria eggrolls has rice inside also! We got small asada fries and it was pretty good. The elote didn't come with a stick, and they use tajin & lime, so it was too sour for my son's liking. Everything was extra salty so the food was hard to finish, but still good enough. Maybe the cook was a little heavy handed today haha. We will come back and try again next time. Oh and it takes quite a while to get your food.

Poseidon's Playground helped to make my Charleston visit a great one. They're located in the parking lot, near the local Walmart. I placed my order via the Yelp app and the food was ready, in no time. The location also had benches available to eat outside of the food truck. There's a pull out shade above them, to protect from the summer sun. I ordered the Brirria Tacos & wings meal. The food was cooked to perfection. The nice lady, at the window, was very professional and kind. The ambiance of the eating area was very relaxing. I was tempted to eat there, but had to finish vlogging. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone, in the area.

We've been to this truck twice now. Order via text and pick up at designated time makes it as easy as can be. Both times we had different versions of the birria style tacos and we absolutely loved it. One of the days was over the holidays with a few of the kids and we were all thrilled with our meal. This truck has a semi permanent spot in WA, at a gas station, so easy to get to, easy to park, easy to order - and a hot meal to go.

Absolutely delicious tacos, birrina egg rolls. You can order ahead of time or just show app in order. The food truck is always in the parking Lot of Walmart on riverside Avenue. And they have catering, so if my budget allows definitely asking them to cater my wedding.

Tacos birria with delectable broth and street corn you desire!

My BFF grabbed us some Tacos birria and they were the best! Not too spicy, with broth worth drinking. I was up to my elbows in street corn in the kitchen with juice running down my arms. Will definitely get again!

Last night I placed a large order: burrito de birria, two tamales, pozole, large bag of chips , guacamole, drinks . After driving 30 minutes back to my hotel, I opened the bag to find the tamales were completely missing. Then I tried the pozole, and it was so salty it was absolutely inedible. On top of that, they didn't include a single condiment--just a bland, overly salty soup. I tried calling for 30 minutes straight--no answer. Left a voicemail--no call back. Not that night, not the next morning. Completely ignored. The next day, I went in person to give them a chance to make it right. I had my order number and explained everything clearly. Instead of even attempting to help, they refused to do anything without a physical receipt. No effort to look up the order, no accountability, no customer care. Just excuses. Expecting someone to drive 30 minutes back with uneaten food just to prove a mistake is ridiculous. I ended up having to go to Wendy's just to eat dinner after spending money here--that alone says everything. Mistakes happen, but the way a business handles them is what matters. This place clearly doesn't care once they have your money. This wasn't my first issue here, but it will definitely be my last.

We shopped and shopped and worked up an appetite. We walked into the tiny little restaurant and I immediately went onto my yelp app. The menu is NOT in English and I had no idea what I wanted so I used pictures as some sort of a guideline lol. My husband ordered enchiladas and we agreed, per usual that we would split everything. I ordered huarache and then last minute we decided to do an order of the plantains, (only one not pictures) sorry y'all they were delicious!!! The only flaw I saw was the guy in back, guessing owner, pretty much ran the entire show, which is badass, however I wished he wore gloves!! And then I almost ate both foil and wax paper from scraping the plastic to the bottom, it was worth it. We love finding authentic little places like this, they started with a food struck and now have this little hole in the wall place that packs a powerful punch! Oh and their green hot sauce that came in the soufflé cup was amazing! If not for my son, I would have drenched my food in it! So good! We would definitely come back, but I'd research the menu a little more before coming, so I can figure out what I want beforehand.

Grocery: I love how the place is so fresh and modern with cool displays like the orange trees when you walk in the door, but every time I walk around to shop, I don't end up finding much that I need. Usually at cultural grocery stores, I find some unique selections of things I can't find elsewhere as well as great prices on things that are more common. While I do find some great hot sauces and some other items, I feel that the standard items are higher priced than most grocery stores. For that reason, I only end up purchasing a few select items from the grocery area. Eatery: I love going in for tacos or a platter. I need to try some of the other items too. It's great that there are so many options, but it's also like a food court and you need to go to different places for different things. Until you've been a few times, you kinda have to figure it out for yourself. The food is always great though. I have a few tacos that I haven't loved, but I just don't order those ones when I go back. As of now it's set up great for getting food to go and then they have a bunch of tables if you want to dine in. It would be great if they added some more atmosphere to the dining experience like their taqueria in Johns Island.
