This CAVA is located in a nice spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's relatively clean inside, just with sticky/messy tables because people don't always clean up after themselves. The service is quick and everyone working was really nice, but the portions are kind of small. The food is still good and this is such a convenient location!

Mold growing on the AC vent

This place has a horrific mold problem. The AC was leaking, and every air vent was COVERED in toxic black mold. The entire air intake was solid black inside from mold growth. Which means that crap is blowing all over the food all day, which is incredibly toxic and hazardous

CAVA is such a solid spot for build-your-own Mediterranean bowls, with a lot of options to choose from. Basically, any time I'm on the east coast where CAVA is, I gotta get a bowl for lunch. I visited this location in Virginia while in the area and did a takeout order. CAVA has plenty of options for whatever dietary restrictions one may have, which makes it a great option for many people, unless of course, you don't like Mediterranean food But there are many vegetarian options, as well as lots of items to choose from if you're following a low-carb, paleo or keto diet. For my bowl I had a salad mix with as many unlimited toppings as possible, with chicken and harissa for my sauce. It was tasty, filling and every time I have CAVA, I don't feel bloated, but satisfied. That's really how all meals should make you feel. This location has a lot of parking and is next to other restaurants and bars. For dining in, there was plenty of room inside to space out and for groups, and was very clean. Staff was also friendly. Glad to have gotten my CAVA fix while in town.

Parking: there is so much parking! This is located in a shopping center, so there is a ton of parking! You have nothing to worry about :) Seating: there's a good number of tables and seats inside and outside. It's nice to sit out when the weather is nice! Food: I love cava! The number of options you can choose is great! I feel like it's a healthy option! Bathroom: they have individual restrooms in the back! It's very clean. Price: I think it's a fair price for what you get, especially with all the different choices! :) Service: I had one young male server who was amazing! He was so great and super kind. Next time I'll have to get his name to give him a little shoutout :)

If you're looking for the perfect build your own bowl Mediterranean spot, CAVA has got you! Allergens: I have a family member with gluten allergy and there are SO many options that allow us to work around this. Check out the ingredients menu which highlights various allergens! Parking: Ample at both locations! My go to order: 1/2 black lentils and saffron basmati rice, harissa, crazy feta dip, tzatziki, 1/2 chicken and falafel, pickled onions, tomato/cucumbers, cabbage slaw, extra pita crispy, crumbled feta, fire roasted corn, pickles! Pro-tip: Order online via curbside or in store for a fast pickup! I also love to choose the option to get dressings on the side (Skhug and Yogurt Dill!)

I've had this location on my "must visit" list and I finally made it here. The setup is a little interesting depending on how you enter the location, you'll have to walk from one end to the other. No biggie, you've made it this far. Surprisingly there was no line so I was able to walk right up and let my Mediterranean wants be heard. A grain bowl is my go to with white rice, lentils and most of the veggies and topping to chose from. I missed out in the warm pita on this visit which was twofold. I didn't ask and it wasn't offered. My bowl was tasty and ingredients boasted with freshness leaving me with no complaints about my meal. The drinks are always a hit for me. This visit I sipped on the Pineapple Apple Mint and you could taste every part of this juice. Juicy sweet pineapple, crispy apple and the refreshing recharge from the mint create this delectable delight. It was sooo good I had to go back for a refill, lol. It's lit in here, like literally. The lighting is bright, it's definitely note worthy. There's plenty of seating and on those warmer days, they do have outdoor seating.

This is the third or fourth time i've tried this Cava. I like that they opened on in this area and it's easy to get too, being off 28. The restaurant is laid-out for quick and easy, ready made to order food to-go or dine in. I think the flow is really nice having people line up along right side of the wall, flowing through the toppings area and after check out drops you into the utensils and drink area. They also have a to-go pick up area by the west door which look convenient. I like their choices of ingredients here and the people that work the counter always seem to understand and are cheerful when you order and ask for toppings. This is awesome! The only critique I would have is the price. I would love to see a $10 FLAT fee for lunch specials for those that work in the local area. 1 bowl with a protein runs be $12 which is why I do not come out as a weekly rotating lunch. Other than that, the food is good and healthy. I always feel energized for work afterwards. It is filling in the sense that there is a lot of fiber and nutrients but not filling in the sense that I get bloated from it. I will def be back!

Omg what delicious food!…read more Uptown Cafe is a small family owned business in a busy plaza with plenty of parking. The seating is a bit limited as it's a small place but I always order to go. But let me tell you this is some of THE BEST Food I've had in a looong time. It hits all the marks: fresh ingredients; perfect spicing, flavors and mixes; healthy options; tastes homemade because it is; and has a variety of food to choose from. I usually get the Caribbean Jerk Chicken bowl which is amazing because its individual components are just as tasty by themselves as they are complemented by each other in the bowl. It has grilled dark meat chicken which is packed with a unique jerk flavoring special to this place; I literally don't like chicken most of the time and especially have a hard time with grilled chicken, but at uptown cafe I would eat that chicken for every meal by itself that's how much flavor it has! Then it is complemented by house made pico de gallo (I always get extra) always fresh, seasoned white rice, corn, shredded cheese, grilled onions (I don't get these as I'm not a huge onion fan), lettuce, and homemade chipotle sauce that is particular to Uptown cafe (I haven't tried another like it) and so good it's addicting! To top it off they always have a soup of the day which is made from scratch. My favorite so far has been the vegetable dumpling soup which included carrots, scallions, onions and a tasty broth. They also have had tomato bisque, chicken noodle, chicken pho, and spicy chicken tortilla. They offer a range of other food items like salmon poke and beef bulgogi bowls, wraps, and breakfast burritos which I hope to try soon. They also have a huge variety of unique drinks and bakery items that change day to day. The portions are huge and definitely filling. I usually can't even finish my bowl by myself, so the value for the quality and quantity of food is excellent. The service is amazing as it's run by the sweetest owners who are always very kind and accommodating and truly care about you and your order. They always make my day with their smiles. TLDR: A small cafe with plenty of delicious food options and owners who make your day and truly care. Definitely try their Caribbean jerk chicken bowl and their homemade soups! I have been so obsessed with this place since I first went and go there at least once a week now. Their food is so good I literally crave it all the time!! Go, you won't regret it!

Shelby our server was fantastic. Was my friend's first visit and she offered all kinds of info and had fresh chips made no charge and brought out to the table by a manager who welcomed us. We had the variety appetizer picking the fried deviled eggs, cheese curds, and French onion pastry puff. All were good the deviled eggs were excellent. Nice portion too considering the split, choose 3, approach. After the fresh chips with various sauces to try and appetizers. We decided to split a salad with fried chicken thinking ahead to dessert. They split the salad nicely for us. It was well prepared with various fresh ingredients and nice sized pieces of chicken. For drinks they have a partnership with a brewery in Jackson,WY and various beers on tap including the Walrus a nice hazy IPA. My friend was happy that they Audi had N/A option too. Desert was great a cookie with ice cream that turned out to be four medium cookies! Splurged and also got the banana bread pudding to go with a nice after dinner cup of Joe! Lovely dessert and at this point stuffed!! We saw on the menu that they offered a few different dishes in take home frozen tv dinner style, they're back to the 80's. We saw one large group get multiple bags to go. We decided to as well. Buy 5 get 1 free, we got chicken pot pie, Shepherd's pie, and Meatloaf. Great price and looks based on size and weight a portion for two. Look forward to trying them! Great experience, wish it were closer, will be back soon!

She was very nice and helpful with me ordering my food for the first time. Now to the bad part. I've heard a bunch about this place and maybe it was hyped up a lil too much but I was disappointed with the food. I got the classic chicken salad croissant sandwich with couple sides. The broccoli side was pretty good. Tasted solid but I feel like it would be better hot or at least w melted cheese instead of just cold shredded pieces on top. The Mac cheese was just plain cheap microwaved stuff with bland runny sauce n no extra cheese on top. And then the sandwich. I've been obsessed w chicken salad sandwichs (specifically on a croissant) since my older brother used to work at Vie De France back in the 90's. I was excited to try this and it wasn't horrible or even bad but it wasn't great. The croissant was prob the worst part. Its like not a real croissant, it reminded me of something u would get on an airplane. It wasn't flaky and just kinda tastes like white bread. The chicken salad was also mid at best. Very bland and unimpressive Specially at almost 20 bucks for the platter. Maybe I should try one of the other kind. And I will. I'll give this place one more try. Maybe I'll update this then. But for now I do not recommend.
