Kids meal

For lunch I got a kids meals, it was a nice amount of food for the price and the portions were just right as to not be stuffed but filled. The only issue I had was with my drink the flavor was very faintly like it taste like water. The wait wasn't too long but my food was hot and fresh. The atmosphere is very laid back and inviting.

My friends haven't stopped raving about this place since it opened and I was skeptical. They described it as Mediterranean Chipotle and I LOVE Chipotle so I needed this place to blow it out the park for me to be excited. I visited their location by Whole Foods. First issue was with the service. The lady serving us was kinda rude and put such a damper on the experience for me. I was with a few of my friends that love Cava and even they were shocked. They said we need to go to a different location next time the selection is wide and I was a little overwhelmed on what to pick but ended up settling on one of their recommended lemon chicken options. Maybe I'm the problem, I think the prices of the food here are a little crazy. $15 for a salad? Um... I honestly don't understand why people are so obsessed with this place. The food isn't bad, but like it said; with all the comparisons people were making, they fell short. I would be interested in trying it again though.

My husband picked up a Greek salad with chicken this evening 8/20/25. I Bit into a piece of the chicken and I immediately knew it was undercooked. So disappointed. Now I think I know why I had a terrible stomachache on Saturday. I ordered the same salad. Now I have trust issues, CAVA!!!!!!!!

I couldn't wait to try out Cava, since its the hotspot around the US. As much as I loved Zoe's Kitchen, out with the old and in with the new! I visited Cava today for lunch, and after waiting in a semi-long line, I was treated to extremely nice servers. They are patient with each customer and explain each ingredient, which is nice since a few are new to my palette! I made my own bowl with arugula, grilled chicken, sweet potatoes, lemon garlic tahini, harissa, skoug, and grilled corn. IT WAS DELICIOUS. I will definitely be coming back to Cava for more delicious Mediterranean style food and to try different combinations.

My first time trying Cava and it did not disappoint! The flavors are so tasty and now I'm hooked! The service was good and the person helping me was quick. The place is very clean and I love that they have a focus on being eco-friendly. My friend pointed out that they didn't fill up my bowl to the top but it's okay :( it was still tasty.

God forbid you ask for extra sauce here. Gave a star for how many sauces you're allowed. I told them multiple times I would pay for extra sauce or pay to have them on the side. NOPE. Very rude. I've been to a bunch of Cavas and the service here was the worst out of all of them. They are usually so nice and accommodating. Don't go to this one there's 4 others nearby

Building Five is one of my favorite spots. They have a ton of options and their food is…read moreconsistently good. I love that they offer a variety of boards you can share, and their drink options are great too. You can sit inside or outside, and they even have live music on some nights, which adds to the atmosphere. The service has always been great every time I've gone. They also have the cutest merchandise available for purchase. It's a great place for date night, hanging out with friends, celebrating birthdays or anniversaries, or just spending time with family. Highly recommend!

When you read the reviews below, most people know what this restaurant is and how it works. My…read moreresponse is less harsh about the service or it's overpriced charcuterie board concept. I have lived in BR for 6 years now. Many departments at LSU take guests there and in that time, Building 5 has done nothing to improve its parking lot. The restaurant sits underneath an overpass and the parking is pothole marked unpaved gravel. This means that there is no room for wheelchairs or accommodations for anyone who is differently-abled to get into the restaurant. The whole restaurant makes no room for handicapped persons. On the occasion I did get food, the food is slightly overpriced. All meats were cooked adequately but the food was lukewarm probably owing to sitting in the kitchen under the heat lamp than being delivered promptly. When I have gone, I regularly have to ask for refills on soda as I am the designated driver often for department functions. Servers pay you no heed if you do not buy alcohol. Because I go here because of academic reasons, I would barely go here myself. I've been here many times and found it wanting. It's an ableist place in its infrastructure. It's fine I'm atmosphere as a cocktail bar but would little recommend it to people I call friend.

Hubby had the grilled shrimp po boy with a side of potato salad. First off, the side dishes are huge. They were fresh and delicious. The red beans and rice were worth the stop. Hot temperature wise and just enough spice to be real cajun food. The potato was hot and fluffy and was gigantic. It was cooked all the way and soft, not like a lot of restaurants serve! The flavor of the po boy was delicious and fresh. The roll tasted fresh baked. Thank you, Rouge Rabbi, we hope to return If you have the chance, try it, you won't be sorry. The seating is cute, they have online ordering, and the prices are reasonable, $15-$20 per person.

I've driven down Essen multiple times but never knew about this place. It's a nice quaint, very much South Louisiana spot that serves breakfast and lunch. The staff were very kind and friendly. Now I didn't get a breakfast burrito this time, instead I got a breakfast bowl which was soooo good! Next time, I have to try the burrito and the French toast but also something from their lunch menu. If you are in the BR area and wanna try a local spot, check out Rouge Rabbit.

This might be my favorite casual meal in Baton Rouge for 2025…read more Since George's closed I havent found a reason to be in this area. It was too painful for me to not be driving here to get jalapeno cheese fries, a burger, and putting a dollar on the wall. But damn, this place has cured me of that sadness. I am disgusted that I had not been here sooner. We arrived during the lunch rush but were able to sit at a high top in the bar. The place is small so you may have to wait. It will be worth it. We started with some cheese curds. I cannot accurately convey how amazing these were. I have no idea what kind of cheese it was, what they did to make it so great, or how ranch added an additional wow. Trust me, get these. They are awesome. The burger, oh the burger. This is likely the best burger I have ever had in BR. If you are a burger fan, you must ad this one to your list. I haven't had every burger in BR but I have had a few. This one is the tops. Great patty, cooked perfectly to order, juicy, and super flavorful. Service was friendly but slightly slow which was likey due to the lunch rush. Parking is under the overpass and a little muddy at times. You will be fine. Come here. You won't be disappointed.

Our server was very polite, however not very attentive and we almost had to seek her out a couple of times. The cheese curds were amazing as always. Unfortunately, I did not care at all for the shrimp tacos. I was a bit disappointed because this is not the experience I have grown to expect.
