So bad never again only veggies meat no flavor sodas are so bad the pickles are so bad everything is TERRIBLE

I tried one of their salads which was pretty good but it had wayyyy too much dressing - there was easily a half inch of liquid at the bottom of the bowl, so much so I had to pour it out. If I go again, I'll ask for the dressing on the side.

If you looking for a spot for Mediterranean food, this is it. Came here for a post-workout meal and ordered the Greek chicken salad and it was good. I washed down my meal with a bowl of Pineapple apple mint juice. I like the Cucumber juice. I'm a fan!

Grilled Chicken & Spicy Lamb Meatballs!....in a bowl full of veggies & greens that's good for ya!!  Two thumbs and delicious!

You can't go wrong with this place!...It's fast, healthy, quality ingredients and most of all...delicious!! I travel quite a bit back and forth from my office in the Arlington VA area to my office in DC for work; and often times in need of "healthy" fast food options while on a limited time window for lunch. CAVA has slowly become one of those places that fits the bill. It's fast food, on the healthy-casual tip. The meals are definitely filling and the portions are more than enough for two to almost share in my opinion.....but, trust, there's no complaints there by me or my inner-fat kid belly! I have been to several CAVA locations around the city and they all are good....and the consistency is there. They have a pretty focused menu where you choose greens or rice bowl...or both! You work you way down the down selecting ingredients for your meal and over 13+ toppings. Lentils, Eggplant + Roasted Red Pepper, Harissa, Organic Roasted Garlic Hummus, Olives, Tomatoes, Cucumbers....Meats: Grilled Chicken, Spicy Lamb Meatballs, Roasted Vegetables Vegetarian options. Think of a Mediterranean version of Chipolte. I typically get the the Splendid Greens & Rice Bowl with a mix of lentils, hummus-harissa dips, couscous, plethora of veggies...all with the Spicy Lamb Meatballs!....It is nothing but the truth!! A healthy gospel of goodness in a bowl. I opt for the grilled chicken at times with this combination, to change things up every now and then. In all, it is an excellent and tasty meal at a great value --considering its the healthy way to go. I will admit thought that it is a bit pricey when it comes to looking for a economical, cheap lunch options....but for the portion size and healthy option aspect...it is worth it. The food at CAVA is very fresh made of high quality ingredients. The sauces and dressings add seasonings and really good flavor. There are vegetarian options too. The prices is very reasonable for the large portions. The service is friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back!

I'm so glad they built a cava closer to my house. For a while I had to go to the cava at Ballston. I love cava anywhere I go. I've honestly never had a bad experience at anyone. The only problem in my eyes with this location is that it's kind of small especially for a lunch time crowd. There was a few time I came here to bring my mom some lunch while she was at work the line was wrapped around the store and it was hard to enter and exit. Overall it's nothing detrimental. Cava is consider a fast casual Mediterranean restaurant. It's similar to chipotle in which you're able to chose a base, protein and toppings. My favorite order is half brown rice and super greens mix, half chicken + spicy meatballs or recently the seasonal veggies. For the dips I just stick with hummus and tzatiki (you can't go wrong with these two especially if you're new to this place). For the toppings I usually go for cucumber, tomatoes, pickled onions and feta. Honestly you really can't go wrong with this place. It caters to most dietary needs like veggies or if you're trying to do low carb. I'm not quiet sure for vegans. You just have to check the ingredients list which is on their website. I love how fast the service is. I mean I'm almost in and out in less than 20 minutes on a busy day. The people who work there are always friendly, nice and most of all patient with people who don't make it easy for them. I would definitely recommend this place as another healthy alternative to chopt, sweetgreen or the little beet.

    Crispy falafel pita
    Emma A.

I went here last night for the second time with my bf. We ordered a crispy falafel, and included all the toppings that come with it and all the others that are available. We also had the garlic sauce and skhug as provided. It's nice that you can customize with toppings and sauces, and the falafel have been great every time. I would order this again. Quick service and very friendly

Our server was very friendly and offered recommendations. We ordered a few bottles of mimosas and they came with 3 juices. (calamansi was my favorite juice) we also had hibiscus lemonade and Hawaiian Punch. I had LOADED BREAKFAST BISCUITS and it was very delicious. Everything was perfect but the kicker was the slightly sweet and sour bacon jam which added an amazing depth of flavor. The service was great and friendly with plenty of tables. They even have a full baking kitchen for all desserts, breads, and biscuits. Check out Unconventional Diner if you're in DC.

We ordered our food with the host/cashier and waited at our table for the food to be delivered. My companion's food was delivered and the server asked us if there was anything else. I said my food hadn't come and she asked me what I ordered. I told her it was the Greek goddess. I had to wait quite a long time for my meal to arrive and when it did, the server placed the plate on the table, grabbed the table number and walked away.No apology for the extended wait, no, "enjoy your meal." It was quite rude. The Greek goddess was pretty bland and my friend's soup was boring. The Falafel pita was ok. We have lots of options for lunch in Washington DC. I will not return to this establishment, ever.

Hubs enjoyed his cheesesteak but he prefers meat. I had a bite and thought it was really flavorful and very closely tasting like the real thing. I noticed later this is a chain, which is pretty cool. I loved the dessert! We had the chocolate cake and the creme brulee. These were among the best bites of the night. Restrooms were large and mostly clean. Shortly after we got our drink, we received notification of an opening and were seated by 8:15. We had the burrata appetizer, Ragú x 2, and the seafood fra diavolo. The burrata was one of the best I've had since they serve it with pesto, pine nuts, and garlic bread. It was truly divine! The Ragú was not far behind. Incredible flavor and a generous portion. The seafood dish had a nice kick and had plenty of seafood, which is not common as of late. All dishes were also priced reasonably for the quality you received.
