Grease Monkey - Oil still leaking

Arrived on time but the service manager couldn't stop his task for18minutes while my wife was waiting before me and then disappears into the office. Only after someone else came out did they take my information. The safety report is not up to standard No mention of fluids other than oil fill. No mention of the wipers. .If it wasn't for brakes it would have been less expensive and more thorough st an express lube

I highly recommend Grease Monkey to anyone looking for a competent and trustworthy auto repair…read moreservice. My Chevrolet 1500 truck would not start, and two other repair shops spent a combined eight months trying to diagnose and fix the problem without success. Frustrated, I finally had the truck towed to Grease Monkey. From the start, the check-in process was quick and easy. Joe kept me informed throughout the repair process, explaining the progress and what they discovered was causing the issue. They were able to diagnose and repair the problem, and my truck is now running great. If you're looking for honest, professional service and clear communication, I highly recommend Grease Monkey.

AAA is a one stop, do it all, auto repair service. . I have an older nissan 300zx where everything…read morejust stopped working. No a/c- defogger-blower no air flow, also no front or rear working wipers and the power mirrors stopped working. AAA came to my residence and Mike ran diagnostic testing while working on my driveway floor. After removing trim panels and checking every fuse box,and switch inside and outside of the car, he found the problem and ordered the part. Once the part was received it was installed and everything was reassembled. While there he also changed my oil and filter. The repair cost was reasonable compared to the labor time it took to find and resolve the problem, remove all the needed trim panels and reassemble all the parts in a very professional manner. AAA is now my go to Auto repair service center

Called him to come do what I thought was a simple battery swap, it turned out to be a little more problematic than that (typical Chrysler) but Mike kept me informed every step of the way and didn't just throw parts at the problem to see if that worked he took his time to get to the root of the problem on our Jeep Grand Cherokee, the best part is he does this all from where ever you are so I was able to keep working while he worked on our Jeep. Way cheaper than going to any dealer and such a better value as you get to talk to the mechanic working on your car so you stay informed every step of the way you aren't just guessing if they are working on it they are working on it. If you are in the need of a mechanic I highly recommend giving him a call. you will not find a better more honest mechanic. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars.

I…read moreborrowed my parents 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, and after I got back to Ruskin from their home in Deltona (about 2 hrs. away), I noticed an oil leak the following morning. I had driven past the FYZ Auto care shop many times, but now I needed a mechanic--I brought it to the shop and Gil, one of the owners, greeted me in the office. He took the time to listen to my concerns, and I felt comfortable to let his shop take care of my parents' truck. Turns out it had some significant issues, and the leak was originating from where the engine and the transmission connect. Gil had the truck up on the lift, pointed out what was wrong and explained the issue clearly. He worked up a fair price and even though the work took an additional day to complete, he didn't try to charge more for extra labor. He guaranteed the work for 6 months. As an extra perk, I was in the process of buying a used vehicle from Carvana, and I brought it to his shop to give it a once over before finalizing the purchase. He gave it a clean bill of health and the SUV I purchased has been amazing--and that inspection gave me peace of mind and helped seal the deal. Overall, I was satisfied with the experience. A couple of weeks after I brought the truck back to my parents, they said there was another leak. I brought the truck back to FYZ, where they checked it again, and made sure everything was working fine. They are a small shop, and sometimes get busy with work, but Gil is a good, honest guy and I look forward to working with him in the future for any my automotive needs.

I was originally quoted one price for the repair, but later I was told the cost went up because I "needed hoses added," with no clear explanation or proof provided for why those parts were necessary. There was no documentation, no visual inspection shown, and no real breakdown to justify the added work--just a verbal claim that it was required. On top of that, the final charge ended up being more than 3x what the same OEM part is listed for at Ford, which raises serious concerns about how the pricing was marked up and presented. The issues didn't stop there. This happened on a Friday. I was told my car would be ready before 4:00 PM, but around 4:30 PM I only received a last-minute text update. I arrived at approximately 5:09 PM, and the shop was already closed. There was no one available, no way to speak to anyone, and no reliable way to get updates or access my vehicle. Because of the timing and the fact that it was already Friday evening, my car would have been stuck there all weekend until Monday, which directly affected my work schedule. I had to go out of my way to find and contact the owner myself just to avoid being left without my vehicle for multiple days. While I did get my car back, the overall experience felt inconsistent, poorly communicated, and not handled in a transparent or professional way
