I discovered Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers on SR 64 East in Bradenton. I spoke to the crew and found out it was full service after I told them about the tire problems. I needed a new battery since it sat in the garage (me thinking it was ready to go-NOT). Same new tire, purchased at Mavis, was consistently flat within 24 hours. Express Oil Change even offered to come out and give me a jump and take it in to fix the new tire. But I used AAA and they dropped it off. The knowledge of the crew is top notch! They noticed other things that were wrong and after our conversation and estimate, fixed those too! And again, at a GREAT PRICE! It is FULL SERVICE, not only oil change and tires. Their expertise saved me tons of money and the their vast knowledge of cars is exceptional. Plus, they did it all in one or two days. Can't argue with that! I used my diagnostic tester to try to determine what the problem was. The tester indicated that there was a misfire in one of the cylinders. I finally reached Cruz Auto Repair in the late afternoon. Corey replied back that he could come to the house between 6 & 8 that evening (Sunday). Corey came at about 6:45 and immediately began to diagnose the issue and found that the cylinder had a bad spark plug. We talked about a price and I decided to have Corey change all the plugs. which he did. running a test again, he found that one of the coils was also bad. Since it was late at night, after 8 PM and the auto parts store was closed, we discussed a price and agreed that Corey would come back the next morning with a new replacement coil. Corey came back the next morning and replaced the coil and now the car is working just fine. From the start, Corey showed knowledge of auto repairs, did exactly what he said he would do for the price that he quoted each time. I would highly recommend Cruz Auto Repair for all repairs. Everything was great, I asked if that was conventional oil because I thought my car was conventional, they insisted no it was a synthetic blend. OK fine, that's not the most expensive. So I walk up to the counter and they say $130??? I about fell on the floor. Even though there is a sign saying conventional is $59, there's no sign saying how much synthetic blend or synthetic oil was. So,I rooted around on my phone for a bit and found a $26 coupon off and it ended up being $106. I have never, ever,... In my whole life Ive never, ever, paid over $100 for an oil change. That's just totally absurd. And while I live in Illinois I doubt any oil changes over $100 there, so I ended up taking it in the shorts, but I guess this is how it is, and this is my best rated Jiffy Lube down here that I had used or even looked at. So, I don't know what to think now. Is that what this world is coming to? Very disappointing. Honestly, if you're gonna come at me from behind... At least kiss me first, will you???

I'm so glad I gave them another chance. Today I stopped by to see about having my brakes done and the Manager, Rich was so helpful! He offered to take a look just to see what I would need because I wasn't really sure. I fully expected to hear I'd need new brakes and whatever else could be sold to the girl who knows nothing about brakes...but, the opposite happened. Rich came in and showed me how much life I had left on my brakes and told me I could get them done but it wasn't necessary yet. I was so relieved and because of his honesty I will definitely go there when the time comes to have them done. Since I was due for an oil change they got me in and out in about 15 min and Fabian was really kind to me the entire time. I will recommend this location to my friends and family for sure. They assured me the man I had such a bad experience with on multiple occasions has since been let go.

I went into the settings and reset it manually on my vehicle. Usually that does the trick. After 20 resets, I took it back to the shop. Julio and Sean were at the front desk when I went in. Julio had the guys check the tire pressures and said it should be fine. I drove it 3 mins down the road and the light came back on. I drove back to the shop where Julio stated "this type of vehicle ( Honda accord 2022) does not have sensors that can be damaged while installing new tires" take it to your dealership see what they tell you. I went to see Geno at Take 5 and he was unhelpful, rude, and basically said that they had no responsibility since the other shop had touched it last!! He would not even let me file a claim saying " I am the claim department".So now I'm on the hook for at least $350 in labor to fix the mess made at Take 5. Beware!! Do not use this company! Also, every time you go, there are new people working there: high turnover means poor management and low-skilled staff. Beware!!!
