Wow everything and everyone was great. Dinner for two and could not eat it all. Rib eye so flavorful that the A1 never got opened. And I love A1. All the salad and warm bread you can eat. read more

Went to Cattlemans for our Anniversary. They treated us awesome! The food was great, service was friendly

Every time I go there I get great service speciall in the bar area when Michelle is there she is outstanding at what she does and the chef is always grilling my steak just like I ask for it thank you read more

First time here and the overall service was great. The hostess was not as great. The food was delicious. A lot of food. I like how they bring you the dressing so you can put as much as you like on your salad. I think the portions was a good size. It was enough for at least three people. There was a lot of food lift and i was stuffed by the time my entry came. Will be coming back. read more

Been there 3 times. I agree with everything positive that is said about this place: atmosphere is great, food is great, portions are good, etc. But 2/3 times I've been the wait has been absolutely horrible. Today I went at 4:45 and left at 8. We waited for an over an hour when they told us 30 min. and then 1.5 hours for our food, and the service was not good. The food is great but not sure whether I'll be back or not. read more

Excellent service. Walked in at 5:30 place was packed, asked us wait a few minutes and boom right to a booth. Greeted with water and bread. Waiter showed up and was super friendly. My wife got a filet Mignon and I got the beef ribs. Food was tasty. Salad was cold and crisp, filet mignon to order and so juicy. The ribs were out this world, cooked just and still moist. Extra sauce on the side. The beans what can say....also the best. read more

Food was amazing!! Thank you Jessica Gomez for taking the time to explain some of the dishes to us and for giving us some great Suggestions. My husbands stake was perfect. we had an amazing time and will be back again soon. read more

I had such a great time at dinner tonight. I got the bacon wrapped shrimp and a steak that was cooked to perfection! I loved the endless bread and salad. Also Jessica G. went above and beyond during the entire meal. i have a huge family and I hate taking them out to eat because they can be messy and loud. Jessica took care of us! thank you Jessica. I cant wait to come back here again! read more

The service here is the greatest, I love coming and eating dinner with my family. I love the T-bone steak full of flavor and just cooked right, highly recommend read more

Horrible food! Horrible service! Alcohol prices are decent but food prices are pricey for a plate full of fat and bones. AVOID IT

Great food, excellent service from everyone , great daily specials. It's a great local restaurant. I always reccomend Cattlemen's restaurant to everyone. read more

My husband and I hosted our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Cattlemans in Selma on March 8th, and we were most impressed with the food and service! Gayla Gilliland, Event and Marketing Manager is amazing!! From our first phone conversation and many emails, I felt as if I have known her my whole life! Gayla helped me with picking out the menu for the bridal party. When we walked into our reserved banquet room, I was very happy with the linens/dinnerware on the table, the setup of tables, and the personalized menu for our party! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! read more

Fabulous sirloin this evening - prepared perfectly. Husband's ribs were just right. The kids enjoyed the potato, skins that they ordered. Quick service... very attentive waitress who kept our beverages filled! read more

Great service all around! We arrived close to closing but we didn't feel like they were trying to rush is out of there. Instead they provided excellent service and made us feel extremely comfortable. The waitress was really nice and the manager came to our table a couple times just to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. And to top it all off the food was on point like always!!! Best place to eat in Selma! read more

Best place to eat in Selma, totally worth the money. My husband and I eat here all the time, it's our favorite place! No wait if you sit in the bar Our favorite appetizer is the cheesy artichoke dip. We always order steaks (NY or filet minion are my fav) all the sides are good. It's always a challenge to save room for dessert, we love the cookie in the pan with ice cream on top! read more

The sheriff is not tender at all. Don't order it. Get anything else. The steak and lobster is awesome. read more

Cattlemens - Just eat here for Father's day...very crowded. Like always, awsome food. This is their steak and lobster plate. - Steakhouses Near Me - Selma, California

My friends and I decided to dine here the other day and it was a great experience! I ordered the filet with side of lobster and it was cooked amazingly. My friends enjoyed their food too. What made it even better was we received great service from our server Jess G. I never had to ask for a refill but she made sure we had everything we needed. She was really friendly as well and attentive. I will be back for sure! read more

We quit eating here quite a few years ago, the quality of food had gotten so bad. After hearing there was new management we stopped in with family for dinner. I usually don't leave reviews but this needed one! The food is worse than it used to be and the server never came back to check on us after she left our entrees, so we were not even able to get things replaced. We will never go back and be sure to let our family and friends know. I will say the manager was gracious enough to comp 40 our 150 bill bucks off our bill. read more

This is always my family's go to restaurant! The staff is very friendly without being annoying. The food is always amazing! Its nice to be able to order a steak and get it cooked they way you asked! read more

The food was fantastic! This is a traditional steakhouse, but there is plenty other selections on the menu. I recommend you make reservations. Glad I did because this place fills up fast. The steak and salmon were incredible and the wine selection was perfect. Great place for an anniversary or birthday. Cozy near the huge fireplace. The staff is quick and friendly. read more

First time trying this place (on valentines day) I love it. The food was great, the service was great, the only little hiccup was that I had a reservation and was skipped by 2 parties but once I let them know I was seated right away. Our food came out promptly and was very tasty. read more

Our server Josh was amazing, and our food was great, the staff was very nice and friendly!

My new favorite place. the food is amazing and the staff is really nice and friendly and super helpful, steaks are of great quality and the onion straws are so yummy... I left so stuffed the portions are good size also and well priced ... I can't wait to go back and try something else I'm sure we will NOT be disappointed read more

Usually this place is awesome, but this time was just awful. We had reservations to eat there and even got there 15 mins early. We were given one of those light up disks and was told it would be about 5 minutes. 30 mins go by and we still were not seated. The gal at the front desk told us twice the table was being set for us. It was another 10 mins when we decided to just leave. Plus, other people were being seated before us that had either just gotten there or were there before us! What is the point of a reservation?! Will most likely not be going back to this place, which is sad because we liked visiting here with family from out of town. read more

They sat us right at the time of our reservation and were fully prepared for us. They also had my name on the birthday board as we walked in. I thought that was a great special touch. The bacon wrapped shrimp was amazing as was our dinner. Our server, Jessica G was phenomenal. She was super attentive and very personable. We enjoyed our evening and we recommend this restaurant to others!! read more

This was my first time at Cattleman's. I must say it was amazing!! From the moment we walked in the service was outstanding!!! Pedro was our server, and he was such a great guy! Tended to our every needs. The food was just fabulous. I had the new York cooked medium and it was done perfect! Would definitely go back!! read more

Enjoy the food and really love the sourdough bread. The wait staff are friendly and aim to please. I travel to this area each week so I come here a lot and typically eat in the lounge. My only complaint would be their drinks. They used to give a pretty reasonable pour for the price but they've gotten very stingy. Would give more stars if it wasn't for that. read more

I've driven by this restaurant several times and have been really wanting to try it. I finally got the chance and was severely disappointed. The bread and salad were pretty good but the food was definitely unimpressive. Got the shrimp cocktail and potato skins as an appetizer. The shrimp was pretty hard like it may have been frozen and the cocktail sauce was just not good. The potato skins did not have much flavor. I got the pork ribs with veggies and It was served on what may have been a dessert place. The very small ribs were hanging off the plate and were very very dry. The bbq sauce accompanying the ribs did have a good flavor. Two people in my party got steaks and loaded mashed potatoes however when they got their meal the potatoes were not loaded. The server then brought the food items out so they could load up their potatoes at the table. That's just not good customer service. We don't come and spend $30+ on a meal to have to put it together ourselves. I don't mind spending $$$ on a good meal but this was such a waste. I would definitely NOT recommend it. read more

We had 9 people for dinner here for a birthday. Overall the food and service were good. I think you get what you pay for and the servings are generous. read more

First of all, Alex was the best server. The steak was beyond amazing and everyone was so nice. Alex kept coming to our table to see how we were doing and he was so nice. Everything i've heard about cattlemens was true. I recommend this to everyone! I will be back soon! read more

Mediocre steak. Had better steaks elsewhere. The family tried ribeye, filet mignon, and grounded steak. The meat lack taste. No seasoning, salt, or anything. Sourdough bread was hard to eat. The crust was rock hard. The only thing that was right was the temperature of all the steaks were met. I wouldn't bother coming again. read more

Used to love this place! Been there twice since reopening. FIRST TIME STEAKS WERE RAW. Ordered medium rare, sent back then came back medium well and tough, so we figured they were a little rusty. So I was talked back into giving them second chance today and it was a waste of money again. Ordered prime rib medium rare came cooked perfect but could not cut with knife lol it was so tough. Finally got piece in my mouth it was like a piece of beef jerky. So I asked for manager told her and showed her; she said must have gotten bad roast and took it off bill. Said she wanted to send me home with a slice off another prime rib roast, said okay. Got home and gave it a try. SAME RESULTS TOUGH AS NAILS. I know beef is priced high right now but steakhouses should still serve decent meat. Especially when they're charging 34.00 to 36.00 a steak. They must be going out and buying the cheapest meat they can find. Well I'm done... no more family Bdays there. read more

We just finished a wonderful steak dinner at Cattlemen's - Selma. Service was fantastic, our meat was cooked to perfection and the staff was very pleasant. We are from the Bay Area and make the trip to Selma when we are in Clovis to enjoy a delicious meal at this place. Definitely a fan!! read more

The server was friendly and helpful but most of the food was bad. The salad and bread were the only good things we ate. The ribs my grandma ordered were so dry she couldn't cut them and the side of broccoli I ordered was cold. Obviously, this restaurant isn't vegetarian friendly but I couldn't even get the macaroni and cheese because it had bacon in it. The service was great but the food was not worth the drive from Visalia. read more
