We had such a great experience at Antonio's Mex-Express! Our server Veronica was just as wonderful as the food. She helped us narrow down some amazing vegan options and really knew what was in everything, which made ordering so easy. I got the portobello fajitas with black beans and cilantro-lime rice, and my husband went with the fajita burrito. Both were absolutely delicious and the portion size was massive. Veronica must be a mind reader because every time I even thought about wanting more chips and salsa, they magically appeared before I could ask. Antonio's has become my go to for Mexican food. I love the selection and the ability to have choices in the rice and beans. I've always enjoyed eating in the restaurant, takeout has been easy and very convenient. And delivery through yelp is amazing. I could not recommend this place more. read more

Our usual go to place for dinner on Thursday nights. They have changed their hours and twice we have gone to find, they are closed. First time was due to new hours, but tonight we were there at 6:10PM and they were closed. Sign indicated they are open till 7. What gives? I miss my host and server. read more

Tried Antonio's today for the first time. I was not disappointed! The food is so delicious. They're very generous with their portions, especially for the price. I'm picky about my enchilada sauce (I like it more brown than red) and it was perfect! The chips and salsa weren't the best I've had; otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. However, recently a trusted friend suggested trying this place and sure enough it was good, my wife, especially was very pleased and became an instant customer due to the variety. That all ended abruptly when on one night she was craving their tacos/salsa and so called in an order at 7:40p to pick up, only to be turned away by a very young voice on the other end, who insisted that they would not take any more orders despite the fact that it is well before the post closing, because as she stated, business had been slow that day. It's that level of inconsistency and unreliability that deters repeat customers. So take one guess where we ended up calling and another where we will no longer be calling! All because a few of the staff wanted to get onto their Easter celebrations rather than be professional. Take note owners: there's a reason why Carl Salazar has been successful in this area since the 70s, he can be relied on and the product is consistent! His staff is well trained and professional. Glad to see Selma has another SOLID Mexican food place! It's a comfortable size inside with two area to dine in. The kitchen was visible which allows the guest to see if the people preparing our food are smiling and enjoying themselves. I liked what I saw back there!!! I ordered the sizzling fajitas and it did not disappoint! The cilantro rice was delicious and the pinto beans were flavorful. Looking forward to returning soon for the enchiladas as I was told they are also a highly requested dish. read more

My family and I started going here and the food has been great until we went Thursday June 12 we go in get seated by a older lady blonde or white hair and no eye contact made then these guys that drove around the whole block came in and ordered got their food and we still had not ordered food we just had drinks my husband a soda and daughter a lemonade and my margarita that tasted like strawberry water juice with not a single hint of alcohol I had my husband who doesn't drink taste it and he agreed the chips had a weird taste and the smell of them gave old chips smell then I spoke to her about the chips she said the batch came out wrong so they just tried to cover the taste with seasoning instead of making a new batch customers would enjoy we just got up and left since the lady just walked away instead of taking our order wish to see better service and quality read more

The service here was so slow and people like Caesar was rudely dismissive. I will never come back here again. This ruined my experience . Happy hour mini tacos were very good. We were never offered water or provided water. We ordered 2 happy hour margaritas, which were so watered down I believe Veronica forgot to add alcohol or margarita mix. Tasted like water with blended ice. We informed the employee who gave us our bill, but she did nothing to correct our complaint or have Veronica come and speak with us at our table (Veronica was aware of our concern and did not address it). Maybe hire a more experienced bartender. We want to support Selma business, so please make some adjustments because we will drive to Fresno to eat out. Customer service needs improvement! read more
