As a single woman this kind of service is hard to find. I always feel taken advantage of bc they think we don't know about cars but Leo put me at ease and was very kind and respectful. His labor rate was affordable, he kept me up to date with the eta on the parts, he texted me updates when he was doing the work, he even came up to the door to get the key to my car and to return it. (It's a long walk!) That leads me to my car...after a shady visit at discount tires (they insisted I needed 4 new after only a year and a half and after many negotiations and trying to leave I got the tires and they didn't balance them and over filled them shld be 32 psi and they were all in the 40s) Anyway- my car drives so smooth it's insane!! I can't say enough good things about OC Auto Care. We first brought my son's car to Jose back in…read moreNovember after purchasing it used because my son is young, and my biggest concern was making sure the car was safe and reliable so he wouldn't end up stranded. Since that initial visit in November , we hadn't had any issues at all. Recently, with the ice and bad weather, my son's bumper came off and the car began having issues and wouldn't move. We had it towed to Jose early Sunday morning, and by Monday morning he had already diagnosed the problem. Once again, he was quick, thorough, and incredibly professional -- sending a detailed video explaining and showing exactly what was going on. Jose's honesty and integrity truly set him apart. He always takes the time to explain things in a way that actually makes sense, especially for someone like me who isn't very familiar with car mechanics. He never tries to upsell or charge for things that aren't needed -- in fact, there have been times I asked about repairs and he was upfront that they weren't necessary. We trust Jose completely and will not take our vehicles anywhere else. I highly, highly recommend OC Auto Care if you're looking for honesty, transparency, and quality work done the right way!

Honest, Reliable, and Great Service…read more I read the reviews before coming in, and many of them seemed to be more about personality or communication issues than the actual work. So I decided to give this auto service center a try for myself, and I'm glad I did. The owner met with me personally. I explained my concerns and the parts I wanted replaced--specifically the battery and alternator. We agreed on a price, and I went on with my day. A few hours later, he called to let me know the battery had been replaced, but the alternator was actually in good working order. He walked me through the test he ran to verify it and made it clear he didn't want me paying for work that wasn't needed. I really appreciated the honesty, so I asked for an additional service: a radiator flush. He said no problem, and the truck was ready a little over an hour later. Overall, the experience was straightforward, honest, and efficient. I'll definitely be returning.
