We we're greeted by the beautiful hostess right away and this place was gaining customers by the second so I was happy there was no wait. Our amazing server came right away, and we ordered drinks. The drink menu didn't have much of a variety but the food menu made it for it. I had wine and my wife had a baybreeze (I believe that's the name). We order the Oysters Supreme and it was so dang good. My wife loves oysters and I am a newbie when it comes to eating them ( this was my second time in my life) and I was blown away! It was sooooo good. Then we shared an entree, called the Shuckin' Flounder. Talk about delicious!!! My favorite was the bread pudding. We took it to go and I loved that there was a note with bread pudding to give you instructions on heating annnnnddd to brag on how good it is. It did not disappoint!!! It was just as amazing at home as it was if it would have eaten it at the restaurant. I was skeptical because of this place because of the choice in seating (once again we come from restaurants and service) and there was a fan behind me but I must say, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The menu is a bit pricey but it's oysters and seafood! We will absolutely be back! Thank you all for such a great evening!

"How good can strip mall BBQ be?" was my initial thought but the line of 10 people waiting to get in that early eased my thinking. To answer my own question, strip mall BBQ can apparently be great! I got a 2-meat plate with the brisket, Dr Pepper glazed sticky ribs, green chili corn casserole and smokey beans. As you are ordering the brisket they ask if you want it sliced or chopped, and if you want lean, fatty or burnt ends. I knew it would be good then. The lean brisket was solid, a little peppery on the bark. I'd have liked it to be a little smokier and the bark a little more flavorful but that's the only complaint you will get in this review. The Dr Pepper sticky ribs were phenomenal! Sweet, smokey dessert like meaty goodness. It was almost pornographic what I did to those bones. The smokey beans lived up to that name for sure and the green chili corn casserole was unique and delicious. This is a definitely a place I will repeat when I am back in Lafayette.

It is a small place in a strip mall, so seating is limited. That being said the last time I was there, there was quite a line, so obviously people believe that it is worth it. Take your own data. For me, it is just a bit pricey for what you get.

I barely get to catch this food truck, and I did not get to try the other mouthwatering menu items.. so this review is based on one item, until I try the other items, I had the following: - Louisiana Grilled Shrimp, Caesar Salad, on a Spinach Wrap: the grilled shrimp was cooked perfect, and the wrap was good, just a little too light for me I can't wait to catch this truck again, and try his other items. ***So I came back to try this place again, and had their award winning pull pork sandwich. I now believe that it is an award winning sandwich. This sandwich was packed with so much flavor and quality, probably one of the best pull pork I ever hard. So moist and flavorful, I just want another one right now!

Perfect! I basically went eenie, meenie , miney , mo and picked Chef Gregory's Food Truck. The "Kick Ass Shrimp" sandwich caught my eye, although at $12.00 with no side item; it seemed kind of pricey. But, what the heck ... if it was good, it would be money well spent - right? Well, yes and no. The six shrimp were cooked very nicely, although I had to remove them from the sandwich in order to not eat the tails. It was the bottom bread swimming in grease and loads of garlic that was so disappointing. You could literally wring out the bread; instead, I just didn't eat it. For six shrimp and a top layer of bread, it was not worth $12.00. I bought a Diet Coke and that brought the total to $14.50. Sorry, Chef Gregory, but a food truck is not fine dining.
