I went there for the Pralines, but they were out. I purchased a red velvet and a carrot cake cookie. The carrot cake cookie was superb. The red velvet was just okay. Customer service was okay. The bakery was clean and all the goodies were beautifully displayed.

This Charcuterie Board is a great option for event catering.

I absolutely love Poupart's Bakery. They have food for every occasion & holiday. Custom cakes for graduations, birthdays, weddings or just because.

Very Friendly staff. I LOVED that the food was reasonably priced, yet delicious! My kids chose cookies, while I choose the Tirmasu.... The Tirmasu was AMAZING. I presume the cookies were just as good with the crumb filled car seats. I don't believe I saw seating anywhere, but that didn't effect us.

This is an adorable bakery with a ton of options. They had a whole case of just Christmas cookies. They have single serving desserts and whole pies/cakes. They also have some bread/sandwich items that looked really tasty. I almost grabbed some frozen soup to bring home with me. The gator pasta was super cute as well! I grabbed some LA hot sauce for myself and as a gift. I ended up buying 9 or so items and an very pleased. I always love to ask whoever us helping me what they recommend and get a combo of what looks good and their recs. The guy helping me was great and gave me solid recs. My favorite was the lemon merengue tart. The french cheesecake was so good too. Also, the strawberry slice. Im glad i stopped in, this place was definitely worth the visit!

Worst Cake Experience. This bakery according to its website is suppose to be a fine bakery with outstanding presentation.

Authentic French bakeries are not the easiest to find, even in Louisiana, but Poupart's makes the cut. We accidentally discovered this place when the breakfast place we intended to go to was closed. It was the happiest accident ever. This place is not only a culinary delight but a visual delight as well. The array of colors immediately grab your attention. Of my! Tarts, macaroons, beautiful little pies, and baked confections delight your eyes. I spent an hour just looking around, and I had to try really hard not to buy one of everything. Of course we had to sit down and try some of their coffee with a breakfast sandwich. Superb. They also have authentic French sandwiches made with delicious meats and their chicken salad is a treat too. You will also find a ton of local frozen food in their freezer to take home. Several types of bisques and other local staples. You could pretty much make groceries here, as they have all kinds of butters and preserves, as well as fresh baked breads. I will definitely be back when I decide to host a soirée at my house. Your guests would be so impressed sitting a dessert course! Picture perfect desserts that taste as wonderful as they look. Magnifique!!!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Fast, friendly and helpful service. Everything is made fresh in house. They offer to warm your sandwiches up for you. (Get a ham and cheese croissant for the road) Don't miss the sweets section ! You deserve it!!! The cannolis are amazing!!! Cinnamon toast and French bread were phenomenal as well. Always a go to stop when in laffy.

We ordered a cake for a Halloween party. I was specific about how I wanted it decorated, and they did a wonderful job. And, as always with anything that I have gotten from Pouparts, it was delicious! It was a huge hit at the party.

A co-worker of mine raved about how delicious Keller's King Cake Amaretto Walnut Cream Cheese is,…read moreand insisted that I give it a try. Since it's a local bakery, I thought, "Why not? I'm always up for supporting my community." So, I headed to one of their downtown locations on Friday after work to place my order. The cashier, Nyla, told me to come back the next day--Saturday--around 10 AM for pickup. Saturday rolled around, and I could hardly contain my excitement. I woke up early and eagerly counted down the minutes until my pickup time. I arrived at the bakery at exactly 10 a.m. and approached the counter to give my name for the order. However, my enthusiasm quickly turned into confusion when one of the staff members returned, unable to locate my order. She asked me for my full name again, which I provided, but after another five minutes, another woman from the back emerged, confirming they still couldn't find any record of it. I expressed my disbelief, explaining that I had placed my order with Nyla just the day before. In response, Riley, another staff member, sought out Nyla for clarification. Although Nyla acknowledged that my name sounded familiar, she seemed to avoid making eye contact with me, which added to my discomfort. After further searching with no results, Riley asked if I had the receipt. Unfortunately, I didn't bring it along, to which she coldly replied that without the receipt, they couldn't confirm whether I had actually paid for the cake. It struck me as absurd--when Nyla took my order, she never mentioned that I would need the receipt for pickup, nor did I anticipate that my name alone wouldn't suffice. I challenged Riley, asking what the point was of taking my full name if they couldn't keep track of their orders. She explained that during the busy Mardi Gras season, they had numerous orders to manage, which seemed to be an inadequate excuse for their oversight. After what felt like an intense and unnecessary interrogation lasting over 15 minutes, Riley finally handed me the coveted King Cake, but not without delivering a condescending remark: "I'm assuming you've paid for it," she said, her tone and facial expression dripping with skepticism. This comment stung, especially coming from someone representing a local business I was eager to support. On the drive home, I couldn't shake the feeling that I had been accused of theft. So, as soon as I got home, I searched for the receipt. Once I found it, I drove back to Keller's to clear things up and prove I wasn't stealing. Upon my return, I approached one of the staff members and confidently presented my receipt, stating, "Look, I paid for this King Cake yesterday; I'm not attempting to steal." I asked if they would take back the King Cake and refund my money. Just then, Riley appeared from the kitchen, acknowledging that they had indeed misplaced my order and she had spoken with her manager who offered an apology. However, I firmly told her that an apology was insufficient after being treated as if I were a thief. "Do you now believe me?" I asked, but Riley simply reiterated her apology while I expressed that my morning had been ruined by the entire experience. To make matters worse, the manager never took the initiative to come forward and address the situation or apologize to me directly. To the management and owner of Keller's Bakery, I have several pointed questions: First, why was this situation not handled with professionalism and care? The failure to manage it properly is disappointing. Second, what would have happened if I didn't have the receipt? Would my word not be enough to be believed? Does trust depend on factors like race or socio-economic status in your establishment? This entire experience has left me with a bitter taste from the treatment I received. I can say with certainty that I will never recommend Keller's Bakery to friends or coworkers, nor will I return to support a business that lacks fundamental values of respect and accountability.

*King Cake Review*…read more My dad is known to say that Keller's has the best king cake in the area. Now, my dad knows a lot of stuff about a lot of stuff but when it comes to king cakes I just kinda turn my ears off when anyone, including dear old dad, around here claims to know anything about king cake. I realize I sound like a snob...but y'all. People who live here just accept (without question or protest!!) that donut shops basically make a bigger donut, put purple, green and gold icing on it at and call it a king cake. Like no one is saying anything!! WTF people? That's a donut. For years this has gone on and donut shops were just counting all their extra money and probably laughing about fooling the Cajuns. There must've been enough transient people like me who were like "hey, you guys are being lied to. That ain't no king cake." Now don't get me wrong, no bakery here makes anything even close to what the New Orleans area is used to regarding the Mardi Gras delicacy, but some of them, like Kellers, are damn good still. They also have unique fillings like amaretto walnut and lemon cream cheese. Definitely worth a try!

I forget where I first heard about this place (probably TikTok), but thankfully I had it…read morebookmarked. It was about 15 minutes off the highway on our trip back from New Orleans to Texas on a Friday, and hubby rarely lets me down when I propose a foodie detour -- so he was game! Thank goodness I didn't read the reviews too closely beforehand because apparently they can sell out early. We rolled in around 11:30 am, and while there was a short line, it moved quickly -- and they still had EVERY flavor available. Score! We opted for a box of four ($3.50 for a standard flavor, $3.75 for a seasonal one) -- honestly, way cheaper (and better) than that sad Crumbl franchise. We went with the s'mores (the gal in front of us said she came in just for that one), a mint Oreo, a butter cookie, and a chocolate one with cheesecake inside. It's now one day later, and there's only one left -- that's how good they are! The texture is that perfect slightly under-baked middle, which, in my humble opinion, is the superior way to bake a cookie. Of the three I've tried so far, the mint Oreo has been my favorite -- rich, chewy, and perfectly balanced between chocolate and mint. The s'mores was also fantastic -- melty and gooey in all the right ways. On to the owner's story -- which is seriously inspiring. Caroline started baking cookies at 21 during Covid, selling them to friends and family. She quickly realized she had a business on her hands. With the help of her dad -- who's also a business owner -- she launched this company, and now she's absolutely killing it with three Louisiana locations, a growing team of employees, and a reputation for selling out almost daily. What she's built takes guts, and it's clear she's not just surviving -- she's thriving. But what I love most is that she didn't settle for a boring, cookie-cutter (pun intended) storefront. Nope -- the place is FUN. The doors and walls are painted with playful cookie designs, and the vibe is super inviting. You can tell Caroline put real thought into making the space feel special. Even the merch is next level -- embroidered sweatshirts that are super high quality. Yeah, they're $50, but honestly, they feel like the kind of sweatshirt you'd live in all winter. I came this close to buying one for MY sister Caroline -- but alas, budget constraints got the best of me (for now). And the marketing? Genius. She's got that cool, low-key social media strategy that makes you feel like you stumbled upon a secret -- even though the line out the door proves otherwise. It's not just the cookies that make you want to keep coming back -- it's the whole experience. Caroline's story, her energy, the atmosphere -- it all makes you want to root for her and support the business. I'm already thinking about my next road trip just to swing by again (and maybe justify that sweatshirt purchase).

I definitely understand the hype of these cookies! I went on a Saturday morning at noon (they…read moreopened at 11), and I was one of the last ones to get one of everything that day. Such an adorable store filled with delicious cookies. I got a box full of various flavors of cookies. From peanut butter and chocolate to animal cracker to red velvet, there was a flavor for everyone. The cookies are a decent size, not as big as Crumbl but bigger than a regular cookie, and most are stuffed with something. I found the cookies to be moist and full of flavor. I really liked on the box it tells you how to store them if you don't eat all of them right away. For a full box of cookies, 6 of them, it was $22.. each cookie being $3.50. The staff was so amazing and patient with everyone. I was so glad I was able to come and experience this amazing cookie spot!
