Over the last I'd say 3-4 trips I've encountered some serious unpleasantries with a particular red headed staff member. She is always very curt with her responses to customers , isn't helpful about what's available for purchase, and scoffed at the "non tip" at check out. Not to mention her attire wasn't exactly what I would call professional with graphic tees that appear like they may have been slept in the night prior. I'm all for supporting small businesses especially when there's a large market with other businesses selling similar items locally, but if your employees act like this I'm tempted to take my business elsewhere next time we want donuts. Instances like this leave a very bad taste in the mouths of customers. If management is reading please address this issue.

That said, I'm sorry, I was hoping I'd love this place as most of the locals do but it's a no for me. I have to say, the moment you walked in, you knew you were in a bonafide bakery: the smell was intoxicating. The ladies were extremely friendly and attentive. The donuts in the casing were absolutely beautiful as were the king cakes and the glazed donuts were really soft and tasty, so that's a plus. However, those stuffed sausage and cheesy things....no,no,no,no,no,no,no (FLAVA-LESS). Ya know, it's really hard not to get good flavor from pork. I mean, it's used as a seasoning in many dishes so, I'm confused. Also, the cheese didn't melt thoroughly as there was a huge chunk of white cheese sticking out on one side and the other side had sausage and egg. Just curious as to why they're on separate sides of the bun and not conjoined in the middle? Asking for a friend lol. I'm only traveling through and 3 stars are generous IMO. I wish you all much success!
