This location in Broussard just…read morerecently opened and having heard nothing but good things about the other location, I wanted to go see what the hype was all about. The owners are in here everytime I've been in and couldn't be friendlier. It's very clean and nice inside and I love the little bistro style tables for outdoor dining when the weather isn't being bipolar. I've tried the regular glazed donuts, apple fritters, breakfast burritos, and the sausage and cheese kolaches. My favortie hands down are the breakfast burritos (ham, sausage, egg, cheese and hashbrowns in a tortillia) and the bigger than a dinner plate apple fritters. Seriously, these apple fritters are ginormous and are nice and crispy outside and warm and fluffy inside. Delicious breakfast offerings and a great friendly atmosphere ensures Jak's will be on my regular rotation.

Pulled up to the drive thru and I can only assume the reason I waited to be helped was because the girl needed to throw her cigarette out. She got my order wrong, kept slamming the drive thru window and never talked except to tell me how much I needed to pay. Tall girl with glasses that took my order just looked miserable.
