The Pac Man (ice cream flavored), Amaretto Freeze, and Wedding Cake are always my go-to flavors. The staff are consistently friendly, and the outdoor seating gives the place a fun, welcoming atmosphere. My only drawback is the pricing. For a small stuffed snowball with a little condensed milk on top, it came out to nearly $5, which feels a bit steep for New Iberia. If the prices were a little lower, I'd probably stop by much more often when I'm in town. That said, the quality is excellent, and it's still one of my favorite places to grab a snowball. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving a sweet treat.

I love this place with my heart! Growing up around the area, it's a local gem. While their prices…read moremay have gone up since the 2010s, they have gone back to accepting card with a small charge which is convenient when you want a quick treat but have no cash. (they went cardless for a while). They have good menu variety and always have enough ice to juice ratio. My personal order is a medium yellow cake batter. I wouldn't recommend getting a stuffed snowball because it's just not enough ice cream to be worth the extra charge. They do have a drive through and service is always fast and the staff is always nice. It's more rustic looking and has a nice outdoor seating area that's covered with fans. Highly recommend if you're passing through!!!

The other half is the café/restaurant with a bar area and tables, giving it a clean, welcoming vibe. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich ($9), which comes with chips and a soda. This was my first time having raisins in chicken salad, and I wasn't sure what to expect, but it worked! The sandwich was fresh and tasty, and the portion was just right for a light lunch. Overall, it's a great little spot to grab a bite and pick up some unique Louisiana treats. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

We used to love driving here for the ride to get great boudin and spend a couple hundred dollars. Being disappointed, I called and spoke to one of the owners about my "crawfish" boudin and asked if they were experiencing a drought with their crawfish. He replied, no and that they actually put more crawfish in their boudin this time. I'm like sir, no way. I've been coming here since 2018 and I know the difference. There was more rice and seasoning as opposed to what it's advertised as. I mean, honestly, if he'd said yeah, we're experiencing the same 2024 crawfish season drought that has been happening everywhere because of the saltwater intrusion, then I could understand but to lie and deny the difference was asinine. I thought perhaps they have loads of crawfish frozen somewhere to avoid a drought but the difference between the prior year's crawfish boudin in shape, color and taste is very noticeable from the 2024's boudin. Today's boudin looks like red hot links on steroids minus the red color. C'mon, just be honest, sheeeesh! While the truth matters, I won't be back anymore. Take a look at the pics and you can see the difference. Today, I bought seasoned rice boudin and not crawfish boudin.
