The ice cream flavors were limited but very premium. Although they don't make their own ice cream in-house, they get it from the best place I can think of ordering ice cream from - Wisconsin. Being skeptical after my last botched experience getting a waffle cone at a major franchise dessert spot, I decided to get my ice cream in their signature waffle cone. Oh. My. Goodness. It's like a confection by itself. Delicately buttery, perfectly sweet and super crispy. I hear they even make waffle cone nachos?! Aside from having great dessert, the staff is friendly and they have a nice little sitting area, complete with a soda-shop type bar to sit. I just can't with the cuteness of Twin's, y'all…read more Twin's (owned by...you guessed it...twins) has changed my mind about gingerbread. Theirs is so, so good. I'm not the biggest gingerbread fan because I always think it's going to be either too gingery (is that even a word) or too hard. Not Twin's gingerbread. It is baked so soft and is just gingery enough. Every year they make enormous gingerbread houses and sell them with everything you need to decorate it at home. How cute is that? They always do bigger than normal gingerbread cookies, too, shaped like snowmen, reindeer and of course, gingerbread men. I got one of each for Christmas this year and they were a hit with everyone. I went back just to pick up some of the gingerbread cookies which are packaged in twos because Twin's (get it?) The cuteness, y'all. I gotta try the burgers soon and I will be sampling the king cakes this year as well.
